It was just a weeks before senior prom. Andrea was so excited. She hoped that George would ask her to the prom. Sadly, he hadn't been talking to her lately. She was starting to get worried. What if George didn't love her anymore? At lunch on Monday afternoon, Andrea sat with her friend Kendra. She was in tears. Kendra hugged Andrea as her tears fell. It broke her heart seeing that her best friend was suffering so much sadness. She wanted to do what she could to help Andrea through tough times. Now it was time to figure out why George wasn't speaking to her.
"I can't believe that George is ignoring me." Andrea said, why is he doing this? I wish that I could talk to him but ne ver answers my texts or phone calls. Mayb e he dosen't love me anymore. I have to find out why he's not talking to me. I can't go on like this for much longer. I love George a and I hope that we can stay in touch. It means a lot to me knowing that I can be there for him. I hope he still feels the same way about me."
'I'm sure that George loves you very much." Kendra said, since you are both in the senior year of high school, I'm sure that he is busy trying to find a college to go to. He wants to be an actor and I know that you want to be a wedding planner. He has to go to college and you get work from home. You will either work from your parents house or you will move to your own house or rent a penthouse. I'nm sure that you wil have so much fun and I wish you the best. Remember that I am here for you. I am also going to be working from home as a wedding planner."
Later on during the lunch period, Andrea saw George and she was eager to talk to him. She ran to him and caught up with him. She was out of breath. Once she had her thoughts together, she was ready to talk to him. She needed to know why he wasn't talking to her and she hoped that she could restore the relationship. After a few minutes, the conversation took place. Andrea was so nervous. She didn't like to see George so upset. What had happened to him?
"I am so glad that we could talk." Andrea said, I want to restore our relationship. We haven't talked in months. I miss you and I promise that I will always be here when you need me. I love you and I hope that we can get back on track. Please let me know if you need anything I will always pick up on the pone calls and I will always assert your texts. I know that things are hard in your life right now with finding a college but I want this relationship to work."
"I'm really sorry." George said, I will answer my phone when your call and I will try to make time for us to be together but it won't be this week. I have to fill out college applications and I will be taking the ACTs. I know that you have gotten all of your ACTs done and the results have vane out gtrewat. Now it's my turn to do my ACTs Burt I promise that we will have time to hang out together next week. Just remember that I will always care about you and that no one will ever take you away from me. Even if we have a long distance relationship, I will stay in touch. If we break up, we will get back together someday."
Later, Andrea went to help out in the library. During 6 period, she always went to help in the library. She enjoyed every moment of it. Nothing meant more to her than knowing that she oculd be there for the students. Now that she was able to help with the libary, she could enjoy all of the books today she would check out a book and bring it home.
An hour later, it was time for drama class. Andrea didn't like this class. She had never like the idea of acting and she never liked to talk in front of people. She wished that she could get out of this class. Thankfully, this was the last year of this class. After she was done with high school, she would be moving to a house or an apartment to start her own wedding planning business. She was excited to have a job where she was working from home. She was not going to let anything stop her from becoming a wedding planner.
After coming home, Andrea went to her room. She didn't want to be around anyone. Her 3 year old sister wanted to play with her but she wasn't having any part of it. All she wanted to do was go to her room. She had to avoid all contact with all people. She hoped that no one would talk to her the rest of the night. She was so upset with all that had happened to her and that's when she realized that she didn't want to be alone. She just didn't want to be around her family. She had to call Kendra she she could out and hang out with her.
"I am so glad that I could call your." Andrea said, I need you. Can I come over? I just need a friend. I need to get away from my family. School was stressful today. I don't like being drama class. There is so much drama in my life already. My family isn't making my day any better. My sister wants me to hang out with her. I don't want to spend time with my family. I want to spend lots more time with you.
later, it was time for Andrea to go to Kendra's house. She was excited to be able to spend time with Kendra. She hadn't eaten yet so hey decided to go out to eat. They went to the fancy fairytale restaurant. This would be a perfect place for her to go out to eat with George but he's busy this week. After arriving at the restaurant, Andrea and Kendra were seated at a candlelit table. They were greeted by their waiter and soon, they were waiting for the food to arrive. There were a lot of people in the restaurant tonight.
"It has been a long day." Andrea said, I hope our food arrives soon. I haven't eaten since lunch and I didn't even have a big lunch. All I had was a block of cheese and a soda. Now that we're in the restaurant, I need to eat a heavy supper. When we get back to your house we can crash with a movie. After all, it is a Friday night. Would it be okay if we move into an apparent and be roommates? It would be a nice way to start our lives as wedding planners. When I have enough money, I will get my own place."
A week later, Andrea and Kendra had found a place to live for now. They still went to school and everything but they had an apartment and they were happy. When Andrea had enough money, she would be buying a penthouse in New York. When she graduated before moving into a penthouse, she would move to New York with Kendra and she would live in an apartment with her until she had money to buy a penthouse. Little did Andrea know that George was going to ask her out to the prom. He was going to make it a big deal where he would ask her in front of the school in a big assembly. A few hours later, Andrea and Kendra went to the mall. They each took out 400 dollars to spend. They hoped that they would be able to buy what they wanted soon. Andrea was going to buy a big fancy dress and Kendra was going to buy some makeup. A few hours went by and Andrea had bought a dress. books, candy and a big pendent. Now it was time to go home and get some rest.
At school the next morning, there were posters everywhere. Andrea couldn't believe it. Everyone was whispering and no one would tell her what was going on. Later, everyone went to the auditorium for an assembly. Andrea was in shock. George was standing on the stage. Where was the principal? It turned out that George was going to be leading the entire assembly. Everyone listened to him as he talked. Andrea hid in the back of the crowd. She was listening to George and wondering what was gong on. Why was George leading an entire school assembly?this was very strange.
"This is a special day." George said, prom is only 3 weeks away. I haven't talked to Andrea in months and I want to do something very special for her. She means everything to me and I hope to make her life special. Andrea, you bring me so much joy. Without you, my life wouldn't be complete. In honor if this special day, I would line to ask you to the prom. Will you go and enjoy all the dances with me? I will do anything that I can to make this day special for you. For you bring me so much joy."
Andrea was in shock. She had never imagined that George would go out of his way to ask her to prim in front of the entire school. Later, there was a huge party to celebrate. The entire school was invited to a party to celebrate all the accomplishments that Andrea had gone through. Now she was going to prom and all was well. Later, the party was over. Now it was time for Andrea and Kendra to go back home. They were exhausted from the party. Now they could go to bed. They couldn't wait until the big prom night.
Three weeks later, the big night was here. It was time to go to prom and Andrea was so excited . She had picked out a white and puffy dress with ruffles. She even wore a pair of blue high heels. George escorted to limo. She was so excited. The limo arrived at the school. People waited as George and Andrea to enter the school. The excitant grew powerful at the beginning of the dance, people took turns dancing with Andrea and all was well. Later, it was time for a prize drawing. Andrea hoped that she would win.
Everyone clapped and cheered. They were so excited to hear that Andrea had won the 500,0000 dollars. She was excited and now she would be putting the money in her savings account. She hoped that she would save up at least 90,000 dollars to add to her savings account so she could buy a penthouse. After the prize was given, it was time for the after prom. Everyone enjoyed the party afterwards. They had never imagined that why would have so much fun at the after prom. Tomorrow they would go back home and rest. It was a long night.
After everything was over, it was time to go home. Andrea and Kendra went to bed and fell asleep right away. Tomorrow, it would be time to send out graduation invitations. Andrea was not going to in ve I any of her family. She would only invite her friends from school and some of her friends form church but her family was not invited. This was going to be a special moment with just friends. She wanted this to be perfect. Thankfully none of her family knows when the grandparents ceremony is. Not even her parents know when it is.
