Mitch's POV
I pace back and forth in my cell.
So much for a good distraction...
Jerome is thrown into the cell.
'Biggums! what happened?' I ask him.
'Mitch, they have Molly and Megan' he says.
Shoot.
'Where are the others?' I ask him.
'Jason,kyle,Tyler and Steve went to find the girls' he says.
'What about Molly and Megan?'
'They turned them, they're with the squids now...' he says.
Im gonna kill those squids if its the last thing I do!
'They tried to get me too' he says.
'What are we gonna do?' he asks.
'I don't know...' I mutter.
Why would they turn Molly and Megan out of all people?
They're plotting something...
And I need to find out what.
A voice in my head says, ' you'll all go to help one-another.And when you do... we'll be ready'
'Mitch? you okay buddy?' jerome asks.
'Yeah. yeah, I'm fine' I say.
'Are you sure? you look like you've just seen a ghost' he says.
'I'm alright. let's just think of a way to get out of here'
Precious' POV
Megan walks by our cell.
'Megan! over here,let us out!' I say.
'Why would I let you out?'
'Megan... it's us. let us out' I say.
'I can't do that' she smirks.
'They did something to you. didn't they?' I say
'What are you talking about?' she spits.
'Megan snap out of it. it's us, your friends' roisin says.
She laughs. 'friends? you think that you're my friend?'
' The squids are bad news Megan. think about all they've done' I say.
'I don't know what you're talking about' she says.
'Yes, you do. think back, they almost killed our friend, they turned Adam against us. and now they've turned you'
She stays silent.
Her eyes slowly close.
'Megan?' roisin calls her name.
Her eyes open.
'What happened? what are you guys doing in here?' she asks.
'You're back! quick get us out' I say.
She looks to her left.
'But they're coming' she whispers.
'Pretend that you're still with them. go find the others' roisin says.
'Okay' she nods.
'Megan! what are you doing?' a voice booms.
'Just checking on the prisoners' she says.
' Well hurry up! we have to be quick before they escape' the voice says.
'Yes sir.' she says and walks away.
'That could've been bad' roisin says.
'Real bad' I agree.
'So, how are we gonna get out of here?' she asks.
'Good question...' I say.
'I have no idea'
'Lets just hope that the guys are looking for us then' roisin shrugs.
'How will they know that we're here? they think that we're out for the day' I say.
'They'll realise that we've been gone for a while and come looking for us. I know they will' she says.
'I hope you're right' I say.
'Please...im always right' she says.
'Of course you are'
'I also know that the others are on the way out of here, and they're gonna go get the guys. you'll see, they'll be here any minute' she says.
'Don't overdo it' I say.
'Yeah, I guess your right' she says.
'I'm always right'
Alesa's POV
'Marco' Lauren says.
I sigh. 'polo'
'Marco!'
'Please stop' I say.
"C'mon this is fun' she says.
'No,lauren. it's not' I say.
'Well we need to do something' she says.
'Sleep' I yawn.
'Fine' she huffs.
Kellies already asleep.
I walk over to one of the beds and lie down.
'Goodnight' Lauren says.
'Good' I yawn 'night'.

I open my eyes after a long night.
I sit up and look around the room.
Lauren's gone?
Oh no.
What are they gonna do to her!?
'Kellie. wake up' I say.
I look over to her bed.
She's not there either.
'Where are they?' I wonder out loud.
'Don't worry about them' a voice says.
' what have you done to them?' I say
'Alesa, it's Megan. you don't have to worry about them,theyre safe' she says stepping towards the cell door.
'Megan! hurry up before they come back' I say.
She unlocks the cell door.
'Okay, you have to trust me here and just follow my lead' she says.
I nod.
She grabs my arm and pulls me around the corner to a bunch of squids.
'We got another one our side' she says.
'Well done, she will go to the surface to get more recruits. now, you go get the others and get them on our side.' A squid says.
Megan nods and drags me away from the squids.
'Okay, you need to get out of here and go back to the house.' Megan says.
'What about you?' I ask her.
'Don't worry about me, just go. good luck' she says, hugging me.
'Stay safe' I say and head towards the hole in the wall.
Kellies POV
'Keep running!' I shout to Lauren
The squids keep getting closer to us.
How did they find us?
What way now?
Think back!

'Across the hall, take a left and swim to the surface'

Jeromes voice from last time plays through my mind.
Across the hall...
'Lauren, left!' I say.
We both take a sharp left.
I look behind us to see the squids pretty far back.
We're almost there!
Suddenly I hit into something and land on the ground.
A squid stands in front of us.
'And where do you think you're going?' the squid smirks.
Never mind then...
The squids from behind us catch up.
'Take these two to the machines.' The squid in front of us says.
'Yes sir' another says.
Two squids step forward.
One grabs me and the other grabs Lauren.
'Don't forget the boy' the squid says before we're dragged away.
'What boy?
Jason?
And what machines?
'You were so close... what a shame' the squid smirks.
I stay silent, thinking.
I didn't trust Nikki and yet I still went with her.
Now we're all in danger and its all her fault.
I can't take care of laura....
Laura!
I promised I wouldn't leave her again.
Looks like I broke that promise...
We're dragged into a room filled with machines.
'Get the boy' a squid says.
Another one nods and walks past us.
'What are you gonna do with us?' Lauren asks.
'Shut up.'
'If only you'd have just given us those samples. none of this would be happening to you' the squid says to Lauren.
'I also wouldn't have made these amazing friends!' Lauren growls.
The squid just laughs.
'Amazing friends? these fools are not amazing friends.' the squid says.
'Listen buddy, we are not fools! we are much stronger than you think. together we can do amazing things... as a team!' I say.
'Strong. please. if you were as strong as you say, you wouldn't be here' the squid says.
'I have him' a squid says.
He pulls Jason into the room.
'Kellie, you're okay' he says.
'She's safe... for now' the squid snarls.
Jason's POV
'If you hurt her I swear...' I warn the squid.
'We won't hurt her. but you will' the squid snarls.
'What are you talking about? I'd never hurt her' I say.
'Oh,you will. you'll see'
I'm pulled over to a large machine.
I'm pushed in.
I hear the door locking.
'Jason!' kellie shouts my name and tries to run towards me.
A squid holds her back.
'Don't hurt him please!' she begs the squid.
'He won't feel a thing...... don't worry' the squid says.
Lauren stands still.
Shocked at what's happening before her eyes.
Kellie still struggles to get to me.
'Let go of me!' she shouts elbowing the squid in the stomach.
He lets go of her and clutches his stomach in pain.
She runs over to the machine.
'I won't hurt you, you know that don't you?' I say.
She nods.
'I'll get you out of here, don't worry' she says.
She tries to unlock the door but its locked by some code.
Tears form in her eyes.
'I'll be okay' I assure her.
'But what if you're not okay? what if they do something-' she's cut off by a squid pulling her back.
'No! please' she once again struggles to get out of the squids grip.
'Now you can watch it happen' the squid snarls.
Another one walks over.
He starts to press some buttons on the side of the machine.
A white smoke leaks into the small space.
The more it leaks in the weaker I get.
My vision becomes blurry and I can feel my body hitting the floor.
'Jason!'
Kellie's voice is the last thing I hear before darkness takes over...
