𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 Alice in her lap while Newt sat playing with the twins. Jasper was messing with the Kane male. Eurydice’s worry had been forcibly eased by Jasper’s abilities upon entering the household. Eurydice loved her brother to death, he was all she had for years. Well, besides Kaz. Eurydice noticed the moment Kaz’s scent engulfed her nostrils, as well as the disgusting scent of Wolf. Alice seemed to know where Eurydice was being pulled to and moved off her lap. Eurydice gave her a small smile as she kissed the woman’s head before disappearing. Eurydice sped into Kaz’s room where he sat, his eyes lingered on the wall.
“Why have you been hiding?” She questioned the male, “Did I do something? Did Newt?”
Kaz refused to look in her direction, “You brought the demons into the world.”
“Don’t call my kids demons,” Eurydice easily snapped.
“They are tribrids, things we’ve never dealt with. The next generation of abominations,” Kaz turned to face her.
Eurydice’s eyes scanned over him before her stomach dropped, “Jacob wasn’t the only one to tip off Sam.”
“I tipped Sam off about you, he just waited to confirm Bella’s first,” Eurydice heard everything outside of the room go quiet.
“You son of a bitch,” Eurydice snarled, “I trusted you!”
“You put your trust into the wrong people,” Kaz noticed how he was riling her up, how her eyes went from gold to black.
She noticed the knife in his hands, “You aren’t leaving this room.”
“And why would you say that?” Kaz’s hand gripped it tighter.
“Because I will kill you myself before you get near them,” Eurydice’s eyes narrowed.
“Embracing the monster that you’ve truly become I see, you let me slip under your radar so easily. From the first day after you awoke, I never trusted you,” Kaz shook his head with a menacing grin.
Eurydice grabbed him by the collar and threw him out the window before speeding out and grabbing him again, “You fucking twat.”
“Eurydice!” Newt raced out after Alice tipped him off about the wolves, “You can’t kill him. The wolves will kill you.” Eurydice looked back at her brother, “I know you want to kill him. Trust me we both do. Betraying our trust and trying to kill your kids, my niece and nephew, but we can’t.”
Eurydice grumbled and threw him to the ground before grabbing the dagger, “Get off the land.”
As Kaz stood for a moment before disappearing, Eurydice watched, “Eury, nothing will happen to them,” Newt walked over to her side, “None of us will let anything happen.”
Eurydice looked at her brother, “I know but Newt, I’m worried. The Volturi will come for them,” Eurydice trailed off.
“And we will fight for them if we must,” Newt put his hands on her shoulders, “Your kids need you. So do your mates, don’t let this worry consume you. We’ll find a way, you know we will.”
𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 Newt was right. She hugged her brother before the two went inside. She smiled over at her family as if saying she was okay, Alice sending her a smile back while Jasper gave her a half smile. The twins threw plush toys at one another - Newt had made sure to keep an ungodly amount of toys in the house for when they came over. Eurydice found it funny by how enamoured Newt was with his niece and nephew.
“You know the kids are welcome to stay the night anytime,” Newt spoke out of the blue as he watched Angelica and Riley with a grin.
“Newt, you probably won’t be able to watch two-” Eurydice tried to say before stopping noticing his look, “Don’t you dare give me that face - no no no.”
“Twins squabbling over twins,” Alice laughed as she looked at Jasper, “You gonna bud in?”
“Naw, let’s see where it goes,” Jasper looked amused.
“Pleaseeee!” Newt shook the woman back and forth, “I want to spoil them!”
“Don’t you already do that?” Eurydice questioned as she attempted to stop him.
“I do but then I can do it more, besides, don’t you want alone time?” Newt questioned before he stopped, Eurydice snorted seeing both kids holding onto his legs.
“I can not confirm nor deny,” Eurydice moved back before sitting down on the floor, “Are you two holding Uncle Newt in place?”
“Yeah!” Riley nodded as a bit of his blonde hair fell into his eyes.
“We helping Mommy escape,” Angelica added, her raven curls all over the place as her head rested on Newt’s calf.
“I think you did that,” Jasper and Alice were over with a small grin, “Good job you two,” Jasper laughed at Newt’s expression of annoyance.
“Do you still want them overnight?” Alice teased before Riley let go and ran into her arms, “Hey little man,” She smiled.
𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐄’𝐒 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐃 away at that moment and not due to Jasper. Due to her family being around and happy. She was distracted by the laughter and small comments made by family members. Jasper watched as Newt picked up Eurydice despite Angelica’s attempt to hold him in place before he stopped when a vine snagged his leg causing the two to fall. Jasper moved Angelica as both twins hit the floor with a snort. Alice watched with Riley explaining to him that is what not to do. Eurydice made a face before noticing her bracelet fell off of her wrist. Newt moved off of her so she could pick up their mother’s old bracelet and clasp it back onto her wrist.
“Mommy and Uncle Newt crazy, Daddy!” Angelica exclaimed, a small smile tugging on everyone’s lips hearing her attempt to pronounce every word.
“They’re crazy, aren’t they?” Jasper questioned as he looked back at the two, “I agree with her on that.”
“Agreeing with a child? Not smart,” Newt joked before trying to swat away flowers, “Angelica - no more flowers!”
“Throw flowers like confetti!” Angelica squealed.
