" Babe Wake up." I heard Austin say shaking me. I didn't even realize I fell asleep. I looked out the window and saw miami get closer as we landed.
We weren't to close to the ground and I saw the beach in the distance with apartment buildings next to it.
" babe." I said grabbing his shirt and pulling him towards the window.
" Let's stay there." I said pointing towards the buildings I had seen.
" If that's what you want then I'm all for it." He said
" You two are cute." A old woman said
" Thank you." I smiled
" What brings you to Miami if you don't mind me asking." She said
" Just visiting. We needed to get away from our parents. " I said
" You ran away didn't you." She said
" Yeah." Austin said
" Me and my husband ran away when we were 17. He was the love of my life and still is today." She said smiling.
" Where is he now ?" I asked
" I'm spreading his ashes. He wanted to be spread in the water of Miamis beach. " she said
" I'm so sorry." Austin said
" Don't be. We spent a whole life together full of laughs and tears. Yes we fought but what couple Doesn't ? We had 3 children together and I wouldn't trade them for the world." She smiled
" Do you know why he wants them in the ocean by miami ?" I asked
" That's where we ran away to." She smiled
" And you spent the rest of your lives together ?" Austin asked
" Yes." She said
" What was his name ?" He asked
" Carter." She smiled.
I smiled and Austin said ;
" Why did you run away ?"
" My parents didn't approve of him." She said
Before we could say anything the plane had landed and it was time for us to get off.
" I never got your name." She said before getting off.
" I'm Austin and this is ashton." Austin said
" I've always loved that name. Ashton." She said
I smiled and we got off the plane and the warm miami breeze hit me causing my hair to fly behind me a little. It felt good in Miami. It wasn't to hot, to cold. It was just right.
" You want to stay in those apartments by the beach ?" Austin asked
" Yeah." I said
" Alright." He said pulling out his phone.
He Found the number of the buildings and called them. He made an appointment with them and then put his phone back in his pocket.
" Excuse me !" I heard a woman say.
I turned around to see the lady that we were talking to on the plane.
" Hi." I smiled
" Would you mind helping me ? I can't find an employee." She said
" Of course." Austin said and started walking to the luggage line.
" it's this one and this one." She said pointing to 2 bags.
Austin grabbed them and we walked to a bus.
" Let me give you a ride." Austin said.
" No it's fine." She said
" Please." He said
" No I want it to be like old times." She said
" Alright well. I'm sorry for your loss." Austin said
" Thank you." She said then got on the bus.
Austin looked at me and smiled.
" What ?" I asked
He didn't say anything then quickly rapped his arms around me and started moving from side to side.
" What are you doing ?" I said but it was muffled due to him pushing my face into his chest.
" Your so cute and I wanted to give you a hug." He said letting go.
" Go get a car." I laughed and pushed him towards the rental car place.
I stayed by the luggage and a guy walked up to me.
" Hi." He smiled
" Hi ?" I said in a snotty voice.
" Your a cutie." He Said.
" Thanks ?" I said
" Come home with me for the night." He said reaching for my arm.
" Don't touch me." I said smacking him.
" Cmon baby." He said grabbing my arm.
" Don't fucking touch me." I said
He grabbed me and Started to pull me.
" AUSTIN !" I screamed
He put his hand over my mouth and started carrying me away.
" AUSTIN." I screamed though his hand.
" HEY !" I heard Austin yell.
I felt him drop me and I heard someone punch him.
I looked behind me and Austin ran to me.
I hugged him tightly and he started rubbing my back.
" She's a hot one." The guy smirked
" Get the fuck away from her before I beat your ass." Austin growled.
" Keep a good eye on her boy." He said than walked away.
I felt Austin tense and he let go off me.
He walked up to him and punched him hard. He picked him and held him by his collar.
" Stay away from her. Do you understand." Austin growled getting close to his face.
" Yes." He said getting scared.
Austin threw him on the ground and walked to me.
" Cmon babe." He said then put his arm on my shoulder.
We grabbed our luggage and walked to our car.
We got in and Austin was dead silent.
" What's the matter ?" I asked Softly setting my hand on his.
" That fucking guy. And me." He said
" Why you?" I asked
" Because I shouldn't have left you alone. He almost took you from me and I would've never forgiven myself." He said
" Its okay. I'm fine." I said
" I know but I can't lose you.. I would go insane.. I don't know how I survived without you before." He said
" Don't dwell on it babe." I said
He sighed and smiled at me.
" You make me feel better." He said
I smiled and he pulled into the apartment buildings we had seen.
" Now Austin. You gotta be a good boy here." I said
" I'm a good boy on the streets but bad boy in the sheets babe you should know this." He said
" But we fucked on the bathroom floor." I said
" Same difference." He said
I laughed and we got out of the car.
" Hi are you Austin ?" A lady said walking out of the building.
" Yes ma'am." Austin said
She eyed him up and down and smirked.
" Come with me." She said
" I'm gonna kill her." I mumbled.
" Hm ?" Austin said
" Huh ? Oh nothing." I said
Austin intertwined our fingers and we walked inside. The building was tall but simple. It looked like a hotel.
We followed her into the Office and she said ;
" So how old are you 2 ?" She asked
" 18." Austin said
" Alright I need you too sign here." She said
Austin did and she was watching him intensely. Once she was done she stood up and said ;
" I'll show you your apartment." And started walking out of the room.
We stood up and followed her. We got in the elevator and she pressed 4. We waited a minute or two and the elevator slowly opened. I saw 2 women standing there and they gave me a disgusted look and eyed Austin.
We walked out and she walked is to an apartment that said 474 in black letters and a big gray door.
She unlocked it and we walked in. It was nice. There was a big window looking out to the beach you see right when you walk in. To your left is a kitchen that is like set up like a bar and a long hallway. When you walk down the hallway there is 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. The one connecting to the master bedroom is huge. It has a big tub with jets in it and a few feet away from that there is a shower with glass doors covering it. The apartments were already furnished and in the living room there was a big black leather couch and it was connected at a corner. There was a big tv on a nice tv stand. Next to there were big speakers that were all connected. In the master bedroom there is a king bed with a slightly smaller tv and another big window looking out. There were stands on each side of the bed and lamps on them.
" Do you like it ?" She asked
" Yeah." I said
" Alright well here are the keys. The place is yours." She smiled
" Thank you." Austin said taking them.
She winked at him and walked out closing the door behind her.
" I was about to hurt that bitch." I said
" Why ?" He asked
" She's was eyeing you. Like No bitch he's mine." I said
" Not officially." He smirked
I glared and him and walked into the bedroom. I laid down and Austin walked in and said ;
" Come here."
" But I just laid down." I said
" Just come here." He said
I stood up and followed him into the living room.
He turned on the tv and it was a big slideshow of our pictures and the song Love me like you rendition by somo was playing.
He wrapped his arms around me and we watched the pictures go by.
At the end of it there was a long letter.
It said ;
Dear my beautiful Ashton,
You have made me so happy lately it's not even funny. Your beautiful smile can light up the darkest room. You laugh can brighten up anyone's day and I have the pleasure to get to hear it every day. When I heard they were sending you away I had to take you away from them. I don't know what I would do without you babe. When I found out your dad beat you I wanted to hurt Your the Minnie to my Mickey, the sun to my shine, the peanut to my butter, the moon to my stars, your the straw to my berry, your my everything. If I didn't have you I don't know what I would do. I don't just love you, I'm in love with you. Please never leave me. I need you baby girl. So what I'm trying to say is. Be mine? Forever and ever until forever ends ?
Tears filled my eyes and I looked at him.
" Yes." I said
He smiled from ear to ear and pressed his lips against mine.
I ran my fingers throw the back of his hair and pulled him closer to me.
We pulled away and he said ;
" let's go to the beach."
" Okay." I said then smirked at him.
" What ?" He said
I walked away from him and he stood there looking confused.
" What ?" He said
I quickly went to the bedroom and opened my bag.
I grabbed out my swim suit. It was Austin's favorite one of mine. It was red and black. Simple but he loves it.
I quickly put it on and walked out of the room.
I walked into the living room and didn't see him.
" Austin?" I said
I looked around a little and still didn't see him.
" BOO !" He yelled behind me.
I screeched and jumped a little.
He started laughing as hard as he could and fell on the couch.
" that wasn't funny." I said
He tried saying something but couldn't from laughing to hard.
He was already in his swim suit and I said ;
" Cmon." Trying to pull him.
" Put some clothes on woman." He said
I walked into our room and grabbed out a cut off and some shorts. I quickly put them on, grabbed my headphones, sunglasses and phone and walked back into the living room.
" Ready ?" He asked standing up.
I nodded yes and put on my sandals.
He opened the door for me and I walked out.
I ran into someone and I looked up and saw Robert.
" Robert ?" I said.
Alex and Zach walked up seconds later and I gave them a confused look.
" We wanted to be near you guys. They keep asking were you guys are and we are getting annoyed so we came to stay with you." Alex said
" They don't know where we are ?" I asked
" They Have no idea but I'm telling you. There pissed." Zach said
" And the girls ?" Austin asked
" Worried about Ashton." Zach said
" Why ? I thought they hated me ?" I said
" No.. Uhm.." Robert said
" What ?" I asked
" There gonna tell Kameron that Austin kidnapped you.." Alex said
" WHAT " I yelled
I pulled out my phone and put the 3 girls in a group chat.
A- ashton I - Iris J- Jordan D- Addie p- paisley
A- so your gonna go tell my brother lies ?
P- ASHTON OHMG ARE YOU OKAY
A- I'm fine. Why are you telling kameron Austin kidnapped me.
D- because that's what he did don't he ?
A- no ?
J- then where are you we are worried sick.
A- it doesn't matter. You just need to stop telling Kameron lies.
I- we haven't told him yet.
A- then don't. Austin said lets leave and I agreed with it. K? K. Don't tell kameron fucking lies.
P- we thought Austin kidnapped you.
A- Exactly you THOUGHT. You can't assume things. It pisses me off and you know it.
I- we were worried and assumptions are all we have.
A- well just leave it alone. I might come back in a couple months. Just leave me alone.
D- were worried about you Ashton !
A- why ? I'm fine. I have protection. Leave me the hell alone.
I shut off my phone and Austin looked at me.
" You okay babe ?" He asked
" Fine. Let's just go." I said walking to the elevator.
He grabbed my wrist and pulled me close to him. Our foreheads were touching and he whispered ;
" Don't let them bother you babe."
" I'm trying not too." I said
He looked into my eyes and I heard Robert say ;
" PDA IS GROSS."
I started laughing and we walked to the elevator.
We got in and clicked the main floor button.
" Austin what car did you get ?" Robert asked
" Ferrari duh. It'll make me miss my baby less." He said
" When we go back can I take it ?" Zach said with a big cheesy smile.
" I guess." Austin said
" YES !" Zach yelled
I laughed and we walked out of the elevator and out of the building. The warm miami breeze hit me again. I love it here already. I don't ever want to leave.
