Auria's POV
Waking up to a wash of cold breeze I stir a bit sitting up and rubbing my eyes that feels swollen. Once I got my eyes open, looking around I soon came to realization that this isn't my room. Just then everything came rushing back I came here last night and Zaiden invited me in I must've dozed off, I mean how couldn't I his arms wrapped around me made me feel safe and warm it's only right.
I heard a door opening it was the bathroom door Zaiden must've went to have his shower. What if he's naked because he thinks I'm still asleep? Just as that thought came I slap my hands over my eyes and here comes a sexy ass chuckle, god forgive me.
"You can look you know" he says making my cheeks hurt from the way I'm blushing "please put clothes on" I tell him shyly "what if I don't want to?" he asks with a smug tone "Zaiden..." I say pouting "look you'll see I'm wearing clothes" he says and I took the chance to peek through my fingers and he was indeed dressed in sweats and a t-shirt "you play too much" I say throwing a pillow at him and he caught it all too easily.
"Do you wanna go freshen up so we can have breakfast with Zalia, she's gonna go back to Bakersfield today" he ask and I nod Zalia had informed me where her parents lived before she says she wanted to move to LA so she could at least be a bit closer to us as we were in San Diego I wish her all the best, because from what I know neither mr nor mrs. Vaughn along with Zaiden is happy about her wanting to go live on her own.
I got out of Zaiden's bed and he walks me to the door and kisses my head before I went to my room with a killer blush on my cheeks. I even slept well I felt like I was sleeping on clouds and there was the smell of rain and gardenias that was surrounding me it was just perfect.
I got to my room and went straight for the bathroom putting my hair in a messy bun and stripping from my clothes. After taking a warm relaxing shower I got a towel wrapping my body in it and doing some hygiene practice before walking to the closet. I got a white victoria secret lingerie on along with a pink crop hoodie set and white socks.
Afterwards I headed down stairs to the dining room to be met with Zaiden and Zalia. She looks at me with a smile which I returned before taking my seat opposite her. "How was your night bestie?" she asks all cheery making me giggle a bit at her nickname "it was fine thank you" I say trying not to look at Zaiden.
"Is that a blush I see?" she ask teasing me before Zaiden stops her "what? I bet Ari don't mind, she's my best friend after all" she says shrugging and I smile. "You're so weird" said Zaiden "and you're jealous " she said right back "damn right I am" Zaiden says and I laugh at them.
Gen serves our breakfast which was bacon, eggs, french toast with butter and cheese, fruits, apple juice and coffee. It was alot just for three people but I won't voice my opinion they can do as they please right?
We ate in somewhat of silence, and once we got done I went with Zalia to the room she was at and she got what little packing she had left done while chitchatting with me. I'm really going to miss her so much once she leaves, she's become one of my favorite person over the small amount of time I've known her and I really appreciate her whole being.
"Alright I better get going now" she says standing from the bed as I did the same and she embraces me in a warm sisterly hug which I happily returned. We parted with a smile and she got her suitcase heading out and I followed her. Alejandro got her things in her car and Zaiden and I walked her out.
"I'm gonna miss you so much Ari" she says throwing her arms around me once more and squeezing me she is a bit taller than I am but I wasn't suffocating or anything. "I'll miss you too" I whisper to her before she pulls away and went to hug Zaiden.
"You better take care of her" she says pointing a finger at him "please take care of yourself okay, I'll call once I get home" she says in a sweet tone and I nod at her. Zaiden walked her to the car and she got in waving at me before driving away.
Zaiden walks back to me with a cute smile on his face and I just registered that he's here and not dressed for work "aren't you going to work?" I ask looking at him and he shook his head taking my hand and leading me inside. "I want to spend some time with you today" he speaks making me blush but I kept quite, "what do you wanna do now?" he ask and I shrug. "Okay... Do you wanna go on a walk, there's a little rose garden out back that mom made" he says and I nod up at him with a smile.
I walk upstairs to my room and get air force 1's on and met him down stairs in like 5 minutes, he was now dressed in jeans and a white hoodie with the sleeves pulled up and white shoes just standing there looking at his phone.
I'm not going to deny that I'm staring because I am, he looks scrumptious with most of his tattoos on display to my eyes and all his muscles, he's totally hot "you might wanna close your mouth little one it's very tempting " he says and I slam my mouth shut and hanging my head down in embarrassment. "Shall we?" he ask holding his hand out for me and I took it looking at him one last time even though I'm sure my cheeks looks like a very over ripped tomato right now.
He got the door open walking out and I followed him as he lead us to wherever this walk will take us. This place was really beautiful and huge all the trees and the green grass shining with what sun light it was getting it wasn't that hot out today so the weather was perfect. The smell of everything natural and fresh calming my senses into oblivion.
Nature is so welcoming it makes me feel free and unbound and I am enjoying every minute of it. I've always dreamed about this and it was finally happening I could finally walk outside and feel the sun ray on my skin and to take the moment to enjoy but what makes it better is that I'm doing all this with Zaiden and that makes this all feels more pleasant and delightful.
I let out a relaxing sigh and Zaiden smiles down at me and I gave him one in return. I really like the feeling of this it is astonishing, I really like the feeling and the realization of being unchained. This was superior and all the better for me because I feel safe, I feel needed, I feel comfortable, I feel like I'm at peace with my mind, body and soul.
"...Auria?" he says and I look up at him blinking back to reality "we're here" he tells me sweetly holding my shoulders so I would turn around and once I did I'm met with the most beautiful thing ever. "Oh. my. god" I whisper out and he smiles at me.
"I thought you said it was small " I say and he shrugs "my mom kinda out did herself but this is nothing compared to what she has back home" he tells me with a smile pulling as his lips, "does she like roses?" I ask the obvious "very much, she would always plant them with no cause that is why I have this" he says and I smile "when I was younger I made her plant sunflowers and once she cut it she didn't plant any more saying it's ruining her color scheme" he say chuckling.
"Do you wanna keep walking or do you wanna go sit somewhere?" he asks "let's sit" I say as he take hold of my hand once more walking the opposite way of the garden.
Soon we came upon a long bench and two swings on a huge tree and a small pond. He sat and pulls me down so I was sitting on his lap and I immediately start blushing maybe I should just get use to this now...don't you think?...
"How are you?" he asks and I honestly didn't expect that question "I'm okay" I tell him truthfully because I was, I felt happy for the first time in forever and I'm gonna live my reality. "Are you really okay?" he asks pulling his eye brows together as I turn to look at him, "I am really, there's nothing I can do about what happened and I can't live in the past forever so yes I'm fine" I tell him looking him in his eyes and he nods before kissing my head.
Silence, that's what surrounded us for a bit it wasn't awkward at all but content. We just sat there enjoying each others company and looking out into the green trees and the whole view was absolutely breathtaking I love every minute of this, being with Zaiden is literally the best thing about life right now just his aura makes me feel secure and I never wanna leave him.
