"Hello" Preeti said gathering her courage
"Hello preeti have you completed all the work. Next week when we meet we will check our assignments before submission" Pandit said but preeti can't think of anything otherthan listening to his lovely voice and got lost in them
"Preeti preeti? Are you there?" Pandit called her but she didn't reply.
So to get her back from her dream land, Pandit shouted, "CHOTI SISTER. ARE YOU THERE?"
Hearing sister, preeti felt like crying, "Bye" she cuts the call when he was about to say he was just kidding
"Oh no this girl" Pandit said and saw his phone wallpaper smilingly.
It's a pic of preeti and she is standing with Pandit.
Sameer munna came there and saw him.
Both smirked at each other and pulled his phone from him.
"Ohoh so now she is so important than us to you. Now you changed your wallpaper too" sameer said with fake jealous tone.
"Yes now we hate you" munna said and all started laughing and hugged each other.
"I fell for her at first sight and during college days when we both were walking on same way you both took that pic and teased me" Pandit said remembering his college days.
Sameer munna smiled.
"But you are scared of losing her when lockdown started" Sameer said remembering how Pandit feared of losing preeti at the start of lockdown and wished to college reopen each and every day.
"yes I was scared of losing her but God heard my prayers and she was already in love with me. Now I will propose her and we will be happy couple forever" Pandit said happily.
AFTER 1 WEEK,
Swapreena is standing in front of their college entrance.
All 3 entered together when at the same time boys came in their bike.
All three are lost in their respective lovers while the boys smirked and parked the vehicle.
"Sister shall we check our assignments" Pandit asked to preeti who is on the verge of crying.
"Ok uncle we can check once we reach our classroom" Preeti said with a blank look and smiles at him and went from there.
"Uncle. Pandit she called you uncle" Munna said laughing hard while sameer too joined him.
But both gets silent seeing their girlfriends glaring at them.
"Do you both know how much preeti loves him?" Naina scolded sameer without allowing him to speak.
"Yes by mistake she confessed her feelings to him(pandit) thinking it's me but you are making fun of her" swathi scolded them once naina stops.
"Girls girls cool cool first listen to us" Sameer said and explained about Pandit love for preeti.
"OMG sorry we scolded you without listening" Naina apologize
"Girls never listens to anyone" Munna murmured and smiles at naina
"I heard you munna" Naina said while munna made a baby pout
All smiled and went inside wearing their masks.
AFTER SUBMITTING THEIR ASSIGNMENTS, ALL ARE COMING BACK.
Till now preeti didn't even speak a single word to Pandit.
"Naina shall we go for a coffee date? It's been a long time since we went out alone" Sameer said
"Sure" Naina said when preeti asked, "Then how I will go alone. What will say to papa if he asked you"
"Say that I am with swathi. Bye" Naina said and went with sameer.
"Swathi why don't roam somewhere before going home" Munna asked
"Definitely we should go somewhere, I missed so much" Saying swathi too went with him leaving preedit alone
"Ok bye" Preeti said and tried to walk off when Pandit pulled her by waist and both shared a eye-lock
"What?" preeti asked him but he smiled and said, "Sorry"
"Why?" she asked confused
"For calling you sister yesterday" Pandit said while preeti smiled
"So?" Preeti asked nervously
"So?" Pandit asked
"I" Preeti said
"I what? Say preeti. Why are you sweating" Pandit asked smiling
"I am getting late. Bye" Preeti said while Pandit gets sad and nodded, "Bye"
BOTH WENT IN THEIR SEPARATE WAYS AND TURNS TO SEE EACH OTHER.
And then started walking.
Preeti is feeling sad as all her dreams failed and he doesn't have any feelings for her while Pandit is nervous that how to convey his love as he knows now she too loves him.
"Pandit!" preeti called him and ran to him backhugging him all of the sudden
Pandit is surprised and happily smiled.
"What happened preeti?" Pandit asked
But preeti didn't say anything
"Preeti say what you want to say. I am waiting for that only" Pandit asked straightly shocking her.
"Pandit I I... I" Preeti stammered so Pandit hugged her and whispered in her ears, "In everybody's life, they gave their own destiny and there are destined to meet someone and I found my destiny"
Hearing it preeti thought it's someone else and he is going to reject her, tried to ran off from there.
"And you are my destiny preeti" He completed him sentence bring a smile on her face.
"Hey you 2 maintain social distancing" A random person shouted at preedit who are hugging each other tightly.
Both moved from each other shyly when the security guard of the college asked every student outside the college to go home.
"We will go there and talk" Pandit said pointing towards a empty street when his father comes there.
"Dad What are you doing here?" Pandit asked surprised
"My office time got over and I an going home. What are u doing here?" His dad asked and saw preeti, "And who is this girl?"
"papa I said na I need to submit my assignments and she is my collegemate. We are talking about the exams which are about to start next month" Pandit lied and his dad believed him
"Ok come let's go home" His dad said
"I came with my bike" Pandit said
"Then talk and come beta" His father said while he went to take him bike unwillingly.
"How is your studies going beta" Pandit's dad asked preeti
"Yeah Uncle it's going well. All the lessons are very easy" Preeti said with a smile
"Then why this idiot is not at all studying in home" His dad asked while Preeti laughed.
AT THAT TIME, PANDIT REACHED THERE AND HEARD HIM,
"She is not like me. She is the topper" Pandit said with a proud smile
"I am surprised. How came a topper became your friend? Anyways take notes from there and study well so that I talk say to someone that you are a topper with the same proud smile with you have" Pandit dad said and both went from there
Preeti waved her hand at Pandit and said, Bye with a smile hoping to see him soon.
Pandit turned his head and saw preeti and both smiled at each other.
Suddenly seeing Pandit's father out of sight, preeti shouted, "I love you Pandit"
Pandit stopped his bike and saw her and smiled brightly.
