"I'm going to miss you so much" Tanvi hugged Kirna.
Today Kirna is going back to Dehli. As much as Tanvi wishes she could go with her but she can't.
"It was nice meeting you" Kirna said to Karan.
"You too" he smiled.
"Bye baby" she hugged Simi.
"Ale you leaving, massi?" Simi asked.
"I have to, but I'll be back" Kirna kissed her cheek.
"Otay!" Simi exclaimed.
Kirna turned around and started walking towards the gate but her phone rang.
She stopped in her tracks and answered the phone.
She turned to face us and started crying.
Tanvi ran to her and took the phone out of her hand.
"Hello"
"Di" I heard Hargun's sobbing voice.
"Hargun, bacha, what happened?" I asked.
"Nanu had a heart attack"
The phone slipped out of my hand and I collapsed onto the floor.
"What happened guys?" Karan asked us.
"Nanu had a heart attack" Tanvi sobbed.
"Let's get to my jet"
They ran to the gate and boarded the flight.

They reached Dehli after 2 and a half hours.
Dehli. The Dehli Tanvi grew up in. The Dehli she has her best and worst memories in. The Dehli that her parents died in. The Dehli she left with a broken heart.
"Which hospital is nanu admitted in?" She asked Kirna.
"City hospital" she informed.
They ran out if the airport and hurried to get a cab.

The one and only thing she always hated about Dehli was the traffick.
It took them an entire hour to get to the hospital.
Before Tanvi could walk into the hospital, Kirna and Karan stopped her.
"Di, going in there means that you have to face Reyansh and the entire family" Kirna said.
"Are you ready for that, mirchi?" Karan asked.
Tanvi sighed. "I'm ready"
We walked inside. Karan asked the receptionist where we would find Nanu.
When they reached the top floor, shr saw her entire family.
A few tears built up in her eyes.
"Di" Hargun exclaimed before running towards her. Gurleen did the same.
Tanvi hugged her two sisters like no tommorow.
"We missed you so much" Gurleen sobbed.
"I missed you too" Tanvi breathed.
When we pulled away Tanvi was pulled into a hug by UV.
"I missed you, sis..."
"I missed you too, bro..."
He was closer than a big brother to her. He was a huge part of her life. He still is.
"Tanvi" she heard Nani's voice.
I sobbed and fell into nani's embrace.
"How is nanu?" Tanvi asked after they pulled away.
"He's okay now. Reyansh is still operating on him" Nani said.
Tanvi nodded before turning to look at Mami and Mamu. Mami looked like she had been crying. Her entire face was stained with tears. Yet, Mamu had nothing but pain and anger written on his face.
Tanvi hugged her mami who sobbed on her shoulder.
"It's ok. I'm back" Tanvi tried calming her.
Once they pulled away, she looked at mamu.
The mamu she would tell everything to. The mamu who never let her shed a tear. The mamu she hasn't seen or spoken to in 3 years.
"I'm sorry mamu" she sobbed. "Please...forgive me"
She felt strong muscular arms wrap around her. She rested her head on mamu's shoulder and cried her heart out.
"No one will ask you why you left, just promise to never leave again" he croaked.
I can't do that. I'm only here to help out with nanu. As soon as he gets better, I'm leaving.
"I can't stay here forever. Karan and Simi are in Mumbai. My friends are in Mumbai. My life is in Mumbai" she said, pulling away.
Everyone looked at her in shock.
"You're married?" Mami asked in disbelief.
"No" tanvi shouted. "Karan is my best friend and Simi is his neice" she continued. She saw nani let out a sigh of relief.
"So you're Karan" mamu walked upto Karan and Simi. All of a sudden, mamu embrace Karan.
Tanvi glanced at Kirna, who's eyes were wide open.
What just happened here?
"Thank you for taking care of my daughter" he said. "Even though she's malnourished" he added.
Tanvi glared at him.
"I'll have you know, I still know taekwondo" she grumbled.
"Yeah, sure" UV scoffed.

It's been 2 hours. He is still operating on nanu.
Tanvi had catching up with everyone.
Turns our, Kirna was right. Everyone has turned into living corpes.
Kirna had whispered to her that mamu smiled for the first time in three years today.
I hate myself for hurting them. I feel like trash.
All of a sudden, he walked upto they.
Her breathing fastened. Her heart started beating really fast.
"How is he?" Nani asked.
"He is absolutely fine" he replied.
Oh thank god. He didn't notice her yet.
His eyes landed on Karan and Kirna.
"You're the one from the bowling alley"
"In the flesh" Karan smirked.
"So, you're dating Kirna?" He asked. I rolled my eyes at the interrogation.
"Tanvi"
Shit. Oh god.
Breath. Breath. Breath.
"Hello Dr. Singh" she formally said, not meeting his eyes.
"There aren't any formalities between us. We're friends" he said.
"No. No we are not friends" she bitterly replied.
She glanced over at Karan who had a proud look on his face.
My life is about to change forever.
"When can we see him?" Mamu asked to break the awkwardness.
"He is being shifted right now. You can see him in half an hour" he said, staring into Tanvi's eyes.
She quickly averted my gaze to her sisters.
Out of nowhere, Simi began crying.
Tavni took her from Karan and started cradling her, knowing it's her nap time.
After a while of cradling, Simi fell asleep.

It's finally time to see nanu.
"I'm so scared. What if he doesn't accept me? What if he doesn't love me anymore? What if he never wants to see my face again?" Tanvi panicked.
"Hush...follow my breathing" she followed Karan's breathing.
Once she had her breathing fixed, Hargun and Gurleen hugged her.
"It really broke you, didn't it?" Hargun asked.
"I'm okay" Tanvi attempted to avoid the question.
"That doesn't answer the question di" Gurleen whispered.
"It did" Kirna answered for Tanvi.
"You can see the patient now," a nurse said to them.
Tanvi didn't hesitate for even a second before running into the room.
Nanu was surrounded by machines and wires. Her heart sank.
She sat on the chair next to him and held his hand.
"I know you're punishing me. Do whatever you want, just please wake up" she pleaded.
"Anu" she heard a soft grumble. She looked down and nanu was awake.
She felt a grin on her face. He's awake he's OK.
"I knew you would come back," He said with a low voice.
"I would even die for you" she sobbed.
"Hush child" he scolded. "I'm so happy you're back," he said with his super thick desi accent.
"Me too, but it's not forever. I'm going back to Mumbai when you're 100% better"
"You won't stay for UV's wedding?"
UV IS GETTING MARRIED?!
"Yuvraj Singh! You're getting married and you didn't even tell me!" Tanvi shouted.
"You don't answer any of our calls and you expect us to tell you. How?" He exclaimed.
"Kirna didn't even tell me either and I call her every day!" Tanvi shouted.
"That's her fault" he threw his hands up in the air.
"By the way will you marrying?" Tanvi asked.
"He's marrying Asu di!" Gurleen exclaimed. Tanvi's widened.
My brother is marrying my childhood best friend.
"I'm lost" Karan mumbled.
"Finally!" Tanvi exclaimed. Asu and UV were in love since we were little. Tanvi kind of knew that they would get married.
Wait, where's Disha? Shouldn't she be here? Does she not care about my nanu at all?
"Where is Disha?" Tanvi asked Kirna.
"Di, she..." He cut her off.
"She died 2 and a half years ago"
Her jaw dropped.
She never liked Disha but didn't want her to die.
"I'm so sorry" she whispered.
"It's not your fault" he said.
Whenever she would ask Kirna about Disha she would say that she is fine. This is certainly not fine.
"Ansh veerji, when can we take dadu home?" UV asked.
"We can take him home by tommorow" he answered.
Turns out Tanvi's not leaving Dehli any time soon.
I can't show him how much he hurt her.
For now it's time to enjoy her brother's wedding!
