~Y/n POV~
"We're What?!" Alberto yells
"You're what?!" Me, Luca and Giulia all yell as we look between the two
"We're Cousins man!!" Aaron says excitedly with a big smile
"Wha...N— No way!!" Alberto says back with just as much excitement as Aaron before they both hug each other and begin to give each other noogies
"I mean I kinda see it..." Giulia says as she stands beside me and Luca and looks at the two cousins
"Yeah me too!" Luca says
"Wait so then does this mean you're a sea monster too?!?!" Alberto excitedly asks and Aaron's eyes widen before he sweat drops
"Oh uh...no, hehe I got my mostly my moms genes and so I can't turn into a sea monster like you" Aaron sheepishly says while rubbing the back of his neck
I stare at Aaron as I look him up and down, becoming skeptical because of his actions
"Hey Luca..." I whisper over to him
"Yeah?" He whispers back
"Don't tell Aaron that you're a sea monster either...or where your parents are" I whisper
"What? Why?" He whispers
"Just please don't....I have a bad feeling" I whisper as I shuffle my feet and look at the two cousins still jumping around and being happy
"That's just bruno talking but...if you say so then I'll trust you Amore(love)" Luca whispers before wrapping his arm around my shoulder and kissing my cheek then turning back towards Alberto and Aaron
~Time Leap~
It's been a...month since Alberto and Aaron found out they were cousins and well...Alberto has kinda just stopped coming home for dinner and bed
It was fine at first because they were catching up on everything and Alberto would still come home for bed and sometimes dinner but now...none of us have seen him at home in 3 weeks!
Right now me and Luca were just cuddling in bed while I read a book out loud and played with his hair, Giulia was on her bed listening to the book as well while hugging a pillow.
"G, you know you can always come and cuddle me too right?" I say to her and she nods
"Luca's already asleep and I don't wanna disturb him" she says and I look down at Luca to see he is asleep, I laugh softly and kiss the top of his head
"Y/n...." Giulia says and I turn my heads towards her, putting the book down to give her my full attention
"Yeah?" I ask her
"I miss Aaron....I miss his hugs and cuddles and kisses and all that" Giulia says as she looks up at the ceiling and I see tears threatening to fall
"Hey...Hey G...it's ok, him and Alberto will hopefully start hanging out with us again. They're just...catching up..." I trail off
"It's been a month Y/n! They would've caught up within like a week or two but a whole month?!" Giulia says as she looks over at me with tears slowly falling
"Giulia, listen to me! You were doing just fine before you met Aaron so come on! You can be just as fine without him, you're strong and you can pass this!" I say to her and she smiles while wiping her eyes
"Yeah! You're right. I'm gonna give him a lot of shit though if he does decide to finally talk to me" Giulia says and laugh softly
"I would give you a hug but you know..." I say as I motion down to the sleeping Luca on top of me
"Y/n, I know this may seem petty but...should we just stop trying to get them to talk to us and just show them that we are having fun now" Giulia says as she sits up and faces me
"Well....I mean I am kinda petty...and as you said it only would've taken them about two weeks for them to catch up sooo" I say as I smirk and she smirks back
"I'm gonna take a nap as well so when Luca wakes up you tell him the plan, ok?" Giulia asks and I nod
She lays back down and faces the wall and goes to sleep, I grab the book from the nightstand and begin to read again but this time in my head. Luca shifts his head to the other side and scoots up a bit so his head is now on my collarbone.
I chuckle softly before my eyes get heavy and I eventually fall asleep too
~Time Skip~
Me and Giulia were making Massimo and Luca's favorite dishes when we hear the back door open and close. Me and Giulia both look towards the door and see Alberto and Aaron
Giulia looked at me and I nod slightly, she turned back towards the food and continues cooking as I follow her actions
"Was Luca filled in on the plan?" Giulia whispers to me
I nod "Luca told Massimo as well but I don't know if your dad will follow through" I whisper back before we hear two people walk over to us
I feel someone wrap their arms around my waist and rest their head on my shoulder
"Hello amore mio~ (my love~)" Alberto whispers to me but I ignore him and don't even react
I look over at Giulia and see Aaron is doing the same thing to her that Alberto is doing to me, she then looks over at me and smiles before turning her head towards me
"So Y/n, do you wanna go swimming tomorrow with Luca and Me?" She asks and both the boys look at each other then back at us
"Of course!" I say "Oh! And maybe afterwards us three could go and get ice cream then maybe do some arts and crafts stuff?" I ask and she nods excitedly
"Luca!" I call out and he comes running into the kitchen, seeing Alberto and Aaron but trying not to make eye contact with them
"Yes principessa(princess)?" Luca asks as he subtly shoved Albertos arms off of my waist and his head off my shoulder then does exactly what Alberto was just doing
"Yo Luca what the hell man!" Alberto says as he tries to shove Luca off
Luca holds on tightly as he tries to make it seem like Alberto ain't even here
"Me and Giulia were gonna go swimming, get ice cream then do some arts and crafts tomorrow, you gonna come?" I ask him and he nods while smiling wide before kissing my cheek and looking back down at the food
"Alright what the hell you three?!" Aaron says this time as he pulls back and looks at us
"Are we just fucking invisible to you three?" Alberto angrily asks
"Guess they know how we feel now" Luca whispers to me and Giulia
"Well hey, two can play that game..." Giulia says with a smirk
