Hey everyone! It's me, Shadow 264 and WELCOME to the first part of this extra episode of the THIRD VOLUME of RWBY: (Genius Gamer Shadow) Ex-Aid Reader x Ruby Rose! This Episode takes place before Weiss and Yang's Doubles Round in the Vytal Festival Tournament. So, to recap once again, I DO NOT OWN RWBY AND I DO NOT OWN KAMEN RIDER EX-AID!! RWBY is owned by RoosterTeeth and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is owned by Toei. So, now sit back, enjoy and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!

3rd Person's POV:
It's been days since Team STRM's battle against Team JEWL aka, Jon's brother's team and after today's Shadow and Rachel's current Doubles Round against Crystal and Ange, Shadow and his team are seen walking through the Fairgrounds as they are seen looking around for things to do before watching Team RWBY's doubles round which will be coming up in a few hours time.
While they're walking, Team STRM were in the middle of discussing about Shadow and Rachel's Doubles Match when Rachel used her own semblance against the opposing team.
(A/N: Fairgrounds in the Kingdom of Vale.)
Tenka: So, you managed to use your semblance without combining with anyone's Semblance?
Rachel: Yeah!!
Rachel said excitedly.
Tenka: Well, I'm proud of you, Rach.
Mitchell: We all are. Honestly, we didn't expect that coming out from you.
Rachel & Shadow: I KNOW!!!!!!!
Rachel and Shadow said in unison.
Tenka: But one mystery lies is.... where did that semblance and that Power of the Dragon come from.
Tenka implied.
Shadow and Rachel looked at each other, agreeing to Tenka's point that his question is indeed a mystery. And soon, they including Mitchell gave it a thought about their possible answer until Mitchell chimed in.
Mitchell: Maybe she acquired it during the battle. What do you think, Rach?
Rachel & Tenka: Hmmmm....
Tenka: That's a possibility.
Shadow: Yeah. Some Huntsmen and Huntresses develop new abilities in their semblances when they train more and hard in future days to come.
Mitchell: Hmm, yeah.
Tenka: Point taken there, Cap.
Rachel: Well, I think it's worth the training we have during our breaks with Team RWBY.
Rachel replied back.
Team STRM chuckled at each other's replies as they kept looking around while walking.
My POV:
I smiled at my team, proud that we are qualified for the final round. As I kept walking with my team, I thought about the names Professors Port and Oobleck mentioned. Emily, Crystal and Ange have similar surnames, I thought. I kept thinking more of them, thinking that they came from the same family and their sisters.
While we are walking around the grounds of the Fair Grounds while discussing about Rachel's semblance with my team and thinking about the three girls who have similar surnames, Tenka noticed several Atlesian Soldiers and Atlesian Knight-200s rushing towards one booth tent, to his confusion as they had guns fully loaded, ready to blast anything, to his confusion.
Tenka: Hmmmm....
Me: What's up, Doc?
Tenka: Atlas Military Infantry are heading to that booth tent for some reason...
Tenka replied while pointing, for Rachel, Mitchell and I to look at Tenka's direction and where he's pointing, to also our confusion. We then looked at each other, indicating to ourselves that something's amiss. While we're indicating each other that, we heard a high-pitched feminine scream coming from the same booth tent for our team to hear that scream.
S/T/R/M: Go....
My entire team said in unison to each other as we began to make our way to the booth where the Atlesians were there, aiming their guns at someone. When we arrived, there, we managed to get through the crowd however, after getting through one obstacle, we saw a troop of Atlesian Solders and Knight-200s lined up with guns aiming at the ready in front of them while preventing anyone from proceeding forward, to our disappointment as we now couldn't proceed forward which I guess it couldn't be helped.
While my team are in between the crowd and the lined up soldiers and knights, we caught a glimpse of the incident that happened by Mitchell taking flight for a moment and landing back down after that, informing us to look down. When we looked down in front of the Atlesian Military, we looked in shock that there are some lifeless bodies before us and them, two of which however, I recognize them.
Rachel: How the-
Tenka: It's a massacre here.... however, I don't see any blood or any wounds anywhere on them....
Me: Yeah, I can tell, Tenka. Thanks for the info there.
I replied, for Tenka to nod in response.
Me: And also,... uuuuh, Mithch..... Tenka....
Mitchell: Yeah?
Tenka: Hmmm?
Me: Do you find these two individuals quite familiar??? The armour-genius and the silver wings???
Mitchell & Tenka: WHAT?!?!
3rd Person's POV:
They exclaimed for them to rush in close to the Atlesian Military to observe the bodies real carefully for Shadow to be correct. They noticed similar armor details and features on two of the few victims that laid down on the ground, motionless. To make matters worse, Tenka recognized two more victims laid motionless as he turned back to Shadow to inform him of the updates, to Mitchell's confusion soon after.
Mitchell: Shadow....
Shadow: ???
Mitchell: You're right.... that's my br- huh??
Tenka: There's two more... I recognize them....
Tenka implied, after turning to Shadow, to Mitchell's confusion.
Mitchell: What?! Who else....
Shadow: Who are they???
Rachel: Wait! Mitch.... Did you say...
Mitchell's head hung down for a bit.
Mitchell: Yes.... my brother.
Tenka: I knew it....
Shadow: What?! Knew what?!
Tenka: Your brother's entire team are four of the several victims there....
Tenka implied, for Shadow, Rachel and Mitchell to look at Tenka in shock.
Then, Shadow and Rachel noticed Mitchell clenching his fists real tight. After which, he turned around and asked one of the Soldiers who did this.
Mitchell: Excuse me?! Who's behind this?!
Atlesian Soldier 1: It's the guy seated at the front of the table in front of you with the glass of Booze with coins in it.... Please, kid. Don't come closer to him or play his sick games. He's dangerous. General Ironwood is already here to deal with the matter.
The soldier said.
Mitchell looked to see the General demanding the gambler in his outfit to return their souls to where they belong, in which he declined for Mitchell to snap upon hearing his decline--
(A/N: The Gambler in his outfit.)
--as he spread his silver wings wide open and advanced towards the Gambler, to his teammates, the crowd, the Military and Ironwood's shock. Once close, Mitchell grabbed him by the collar of his suit and rammed him into the ground with anger.
Mitchell: YOU BASTAAAAARD!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tenka: MITCHELL, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!?
Rachel: Mitch!!! STOP!!!!
Ironwood: Mr. Striker!!! What do you think you're doing?!?!
The gambler tried getting up but Mitchell pinned him down once again, while aiming his silver wings at him.
Mitchell: Get up again, and I'll impale you with my sharp, dagger wings....
???: Hmph! You're new here, so I'll tell you what happens if you kill me.
Mitchell: And what if I do that?!
???: If you take my life, those victims and your friends to what I've overheard, shall die with me..... including your brother to what I've heard from that hotshot over there. You're a Striker, too, aren't you?
Mitchell looked in fear and speechless after the gambler told him on what happens if he take his life.
???: I have a proposal to make things fair for us both. Win me in a game of your choosing, and I'll consider returning their souls. If you lose, I'll "Striker" you out. Get it?
The gambler said for Mitchell to take it too personally as he used his surname name in the warning he said to him, as a part of a proposal, for Mitchell to extend his feathers more to make them longer and to make his wings extend out more, to Tenka and Rachel's worry that he'll do something drastic.
Mitchell: DAMN YOU!!!!!
Tenka: MITCH!!! THAT'S ENOUGH!!!!!
RACHEL: MITCH!!!!!
Shadow: HOLD IT!!!!
Tenka and Rachel looked back at Shadow for everyone including the Soldiers, the General, Mitchell and the Gambler to lower their weapons (A/N: That's for the Atlesian Soldiers and Knights, to give you the clarification.) and look at the Team Leader of Team STRM. He then walked up to present himself while walking pass the Atlesian Military, making his way to the center of the Booth where the table is.
Ironwood: Mr. W-
Shadow: DOCTOR!!!!
He yelled, shocking Ironwood a bit.
Ironwood: .... Ahem!! .... Doctor Wrath. Be careful. He's dangerous.... and also, tell your teammate to stand do-
Shadow: So, I see.
Shadow implied while looking at the glass.
Shadow: Hmmmm... I wonder....
Ironwood: What?! What is it?
Shadow make his way to the glass. Once there, he grabbed it, observing it real carefully until he discovered something for him to scoff, to Ironwood and the Military's confusion. He soon poured the Booze and coins out of the glass and turn the glass upside down, and there it was.
Shadow: As I thought.
He implied to himself, while walking around the table, discovering a bar of eaten chocolate on the floor after that ruckus caused by his teammate.
Shadow: I see.... there you have it. That's how he did it.
Ironwood: What?! What how he did it?
The General questioned for the Gambler to chuckle, to Ironwood and Mitchell's confusion.
???: So, for a new guy for a Doctor finally figured it out? I'm impressed. Not bad for a Doctor, I have to say.... but it is still far too late for that.
Mitchell: What?! (Looks at Shadow) Something's wrong with the glass?!
Shadow: Yes. There's a tiny chunk of chocolate at the bottom of the glass. Somehow, he managed to slip that tiny chunk below it without anyone noticing it. I'd guess that he slipped it underneath while inspecting the glass of Booze before the game even started.
Mitchell: Th-THAT'S CHEATING!!!!!
Shadow: It's not.
Mitchell: Huh?! WHAT?!?!
Ironwood: I do not follow. Explain.
Shadow: It's simple. When it comes to gambling, there is a key rule and that's, "It doesn't count as cheating if you're never get caught in the act." Since he wasn't caught in the act, that means he won by default.
???: I see you've read your homework. Well done. Now, Doctor, would you be so kind as to get this boy off me??? His presence is making me uncomfortable.
The gambler said for Mitchell to turn his attention back to him while tensing up again.
Ironwood: It pains me to say this but, he has a point.
The General implied, for me to sigh at this.
Shadow: Mitch, please get off him and make things easier for us.
I asked nicely, to Mitchell's shock as he turned his attention back to me in worry.
Mitchell: BUT!!! BUT HE J-
Shadow's eyes turn red and spoke up once again.
Shadow (Demonic Voice): Now, Mitchell....
Mitchell: Alright, alright! Fine. Don't have to go Demonic Voice on me.
Mitchell said, frightened when he saw his team lead about to go nuts in a terrifying way, for him to release the Gambler while getting up. He soon went to Shadow's side as he, Ironwood and Shadow watched the gambler slowly get up, patting his clothes to rid of the dust that is on his clothes due to Mitchell's outburst.
Once done, the gambler looked straight at us calmly while propping himself up from being rammed down as if this has never happened. While looking at us, he began to giggle knowing that he is about to get away with this, but that wouldn't be the case for long.
Ironwood: Doctor.... Mr. Striker, I think you should leave this to us. It's not worth it a- Doctor?!
Mitchell: Shadow??
Tenka & Rachel: Cap?/Doc?
The four exclaimed in confusion as they noticed Shadow taking a step forward.
Shadow: Alright.... Identify yourself.
I exclaimed to the Gambler, for him to smile.
???: My name is Panic.
Shadow: I see. (Turns my head slightly back) General. Explain who's panic?
Ironwood: Panic, also known as Panic the Eliminator, Panic the Bounty Hunter or Panic the Player killer of Darkness. He's Wanted by The Atlas Military for.... well,... you get the picture when you see those bodies here... to top it off, he keeps souls in those gambling chips he has collected in his book seen on the display closet behind the table. Kingdom of Origin, Unknown.
Shadow: I see....
He replied to Winter as he turned to see that specific closet with a bunch of stuff in it, along with a specific book that Ironwood spoke off.
My POV:
Soon, I smirked.
Me: Alright, Panic. What cards do you have?
Panic: Excellent question. I have a wide variety. Be right with you in a moment.
Panic said.
Then, I see him walking casually towards his closet as he began to open it, taking a huge case out as he placed it on the table, opening it each layer by layer, with each layer to go higher to reveal its contents to be full of different variety and types of different cards based on different games.
(A/N: Cards like the Original Poker Cards, Magic the Gathering, Duel Masters, Vanguard, well,... you get the picture.)
Panic: So, pick a deck, any deck you want?
He said.
I smirked, to Panic's confusion. Then, after a few seconds, I shot my answer out.
Me: Cool collection. Now, get your cards because, (Points at Panic) we're playing my game. Hope you're ready for some Yu-Gi-Oh and Poker, a two-in-one game I would say that.
I exclaimed while using my other hand to point at the back of the specific deck I pointed out as my choice.
(A/N: The back of the deck of cards Shadow picked.)
Panic was speechless at the choice I picked, while Ironwood and Mitchell had shocked looks in their faces. Then, Mitchell went up to me to try and stop me from doing this after listening to what the General has explained in brief about Panic.
Mitchell: SHADOW?!?!?! WHAT'RE YOU DOING?!?!?! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!!!!!!
Panic: Interesting. I have you know that Yu-Gi-Oh and Poker are two of my favorite games.
Ironwood: Are you out of your mind?! You are going up against a dangerous criminal who takes souls after the player loses the Game. And forgive me, Mr. Striker..... Panic explained that he outsmarted Mr. Jon Striker's entire team in four different games!!!!
Mitchell: It's too dangerous for a Gamer like you!!!
Ironwood and Mitchell exclaimed and explained that this is extremely dangerous.
Me: I know... but I'm not backing down from this. Even though he's not using physical strength and his semblance... whether he uses his semblance or not, he sure as hell is the most dangerous Huntsmen we've ever faced with a shotgun like that he has and the number of people there are lying before us just now.
I said to Mitchell.
Then, I turned my attention to Panic while I grabbed a seat and began to sit down in front of him by the table, to my teammates and Ironwood's worry.
Me: Now then, Panic. Hope you're ready for a whole new game cause' when I'm around, there's no turning back to where you're going.
I implied to Panic, earning a laugh out of him. He then began to look at me and spoke.
Panic: You have spirit, my boy, I have to give you that. But before we begin, I must hear that you are prepared for this.
Me: Well, consider this a statement. I bet my soul to this game's outcome. Now, Panic.... it's Time to DUEL!!!!
I exclaimed, for Panic to smile.
Panic: Alright then. Let us be-
Me: Before we proceed, may I ask for a favor, just to check if my thoughts are correct.
Panic: A favor? Really?
Panic asked while beginning to do a light cackle.
Panic: Tell me.
Me: Okay. How about you shuffle those cards.
Panic: (Giggles) Easy enough. Watch how the pros do it.
Me: Alright, let's see it.
I replied.
Then, Panic picked up the deck of cards and began to shuffle them in his way which is somehow impossible but, he managed to shuffle them without dropping one.
(A/N: Card Shuffling begins from 0:11 to 7:00.)
Everyone who are present including my team and Winter were amazed though in their hearts, they still fear that the culprit will take their souls, too. Even I too was amazed with his handy work in shuffling his card. While witnessing his pro-instincts in shuffling the cards, a familiar voice sound off in my head.
??? (In my mind): Beware of this individual....
Me (In my mind): Hmm? Amber?
Amber (In my mind): Yes. It's me.
Me (In my mind): Okay. So, what do I need to know about this individual?
Amber (In my mind): He's not from this world.
She said.
I was shocked when I heard this, thus making me curious.
Me (In my mind): Where is he from, then?
Amber (In my mind): Unknown.... but I sense a dark omen.... from ancient history...
Me (In my mind): I see...
Amber (In my mind): You should be careful...
Me (In my mind): I know....
Our conversation ended when Panic finished shuffling his cards as he placed it gently on the table.
Panic: There ya go, dear boy. All shuffled up. Hope my shuffling skills intimidated you and impressed you at the same time. Now then, what pre-tell do you have in mind next?
Me: Draw a card from the deck. I don't give a rat's ass on what card you pick, just as long as you pick on.... and you don't show it to anyone, even though the crowd is behind me and in front of you.
Panic nod at my request and picked up half the deck, turn the picture side of the card facing him so that he himself will be the only one who can see the card he's picked.
Panic: Don't mind me, I took almost half the deck. I happen to have many spares for dueling purposes.
Panic implied.
Me: That's alright. We'll need two decks, anyway.
Panic: Very well, then. I have picked a card which is from the half of my deck which is on my hand, now.
Me: Excellent. Now I summon it. It's the Dark Magician.
Panic looked at his card to see that he's right as I noticed a smirk on his face and a slight nod.
Me: Next, I'll name them from top to bottom.
Panic: Wooooo~ Now that's a challenge. Alright then, have at it.
Me: Alright. Ahem Ahem! Mystical Space Typhoon, Pot of Greed, Jinzo, Enemy Controller, three Blue Eyes White Dragons, Monster Reborn, Multiply, Crystal Tree, Right Arm and Leg of the Forbidden One, Spellbinding Circle, Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger, Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle, Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus, Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat, Crystal Blessing, Rainbow Blessing, Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle, Swords of Revealing Light, Kuriboh, Winged Kuriboh, Transcendent Wings, Polymerization, Obelisk the Tormentor, King's Knight, Queen's Knight, Jack's Knight, Summoned Skull, Red Eyes Black Dragon, Buster Blader and, Alpha, Beta and Gamma the Magnetic Warriors.
I said.
Panic then revealed all the cards in his hands, revealing them to be correct, to Panic, Mitchell and Ironwood's greatest shock.
Ironwood: I-Impossible!!!!
Mitchell: HE GUESSED THEM ALL!!!! AND THAT'S AFTER PANIC SHUFFLED THE DECK!! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!?!?!
Mitchell and the General exclaimed.
Tenka: Mitch!!!! What's going on over there!?! What's the progress?!
Mitchell: He had Panic to shuffle so he can guess the cards without looking!!! And Cap's guessed them all!!!
Rachel: T-That's impossible!!
Mitchell: I KNOW!!!!
Mitchell explained and exclaimed, to Rachel and Tenka's shock.
Back at the table, I began to answer Mitchell's question.
Me: I'd rattle my mouth to guess all of the cards if I want to. While you were shuffling the cards, I had the power of Kamen Rider Chronicle aka, power of pause to help me memorize the order of the deck before you were done shuffling them. And I don't have to even stand up and walk my ass over to you and see the cards.
I explained.
Panic chuckled a bit, impressed of what I am capable of.
Panic: Impressive and interesting strategy.
Me: Thank you.
Panic: But that doesn't mean I'll do everything in my power to take your soul and your career away. That said, by defeating your plan is a simple matter of shuffling the cards that it'll obstruct your vision of them.
Me: That dense, aren't you?
I questioned for Panic to have no clue what I meant, but I still continued.
Me: Cheating is near impossible when I'm your opponent. That's one info that you should be aware of.
I said with a serious tone.
Panic: Alright then.... let's begin.
Panic responded.
Then, he placed the deck back on the other half and pushes it to me for me to pick up the entire deck of 120 cards as I began to shuffle them effortlessly.
(A/N: Card Shuffling begins from 0:26 to 4:21.)
I shuffled the cards effortlessly dropping any card like Panic, with everyone including Panic watching me shuffle all the cards in my hands. In the middle of the shuffle, I had the cards to boomerang around me as they all land on my other hand for me to shuffle once again, to everyone's amazement as I heard a lot of "Woos" "Woo-Yeahs" on each card that land on my other hand and a round of applause.
While shuffling, I noticed Panic observing me shuffle the cards real carefully like as if he's trying to hatch out a plan to weaken me once my shuffling of the cards is done. So, I decided to eye on him real carefully, too, hatching my own plan while taking caution on what Amber informed me in my head. At the end of the shuffle, I purposely dropped the cards for Panic to cackle and for the crowd to "awwww..." at me.
Panic: I have to say, not bad, but you have to do better than tha-
Me: Who says I'm done?
I said, for Panic's expression to turn from laughter to confusion within a slip.
Then, I turned to Mitchell and Ironwood.
Me: Mitch, General. Face away for a sec.
Mitchell: Uuuuh, why?
Me: Just do it....
Mitchell: Well.... okay?
Mitchell said and Ironwood nod for them to turn around, facing away from me. Then, I leaned down to grab the cards, for Panic to laugh.
Panic: (Laughing) You can shuffle, but you can't even do a fina- WHAT?!?!?!
Panic exclaimed.
The general and Mitchell swiftly turned back upon hearing Panic exclaiming, for them to look in shock, too as they see me with the deck of cards all shuffled up. Everyone took notice of it and was shocked at the sight, as well.
Panic: NO!!! THERE IS NO WAY, YOU COULD HAVE DONE THAT WITHIN A SECOND!!!!!!!!! HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?!?!?!?!
Mitchell: WAIT WHAT?! YOU JUST PICKED IT UP WITHOUT SHUFFLING BACK THE CARDS FROM THE GROUND?!?!?!
Me: Yes.
Mitchell: B-But HOW?!?!?!
Me: Trade secret, Mitch, General and Panic.
I turned to look at Ironwood for him to look at me, as well, giving him a wink while motioning my winked eye to look down, in which he did. He noticed some snow particles on my right hand, in which he understood how it happened and what was going on, in secret.
Then, he leaned towards me at my ear and whispered something to me, without letting my teammate to know what he is saying to me.
Ironwood (Whispering): Just make sure, you don't reveal too much.
Me (Whispering): Noted...
I said and turned my attention back at Panic who has already composed himself.
Panic: Fine. If you don't reveal your secret, that's fine. I'm still going to steal your soul, so nothing's changed.
Me: Very well, then.
I said while placing the deck back on the center of the table. Then, we began to take a card, showing our card to each other to see who deals first.
Panic: I summon a Blue Eyes White Dragon.
(A/N: Blue Eyes White Dragon Card.)
Me: Summoning a King's Knight.
(A/N: King's Knight Card.)
Panic: Then it seems like I'll be dealing.
He said while giggling.
We then placed the cards back on the deck as Panic grabbed the deck and began to shuffle once again, but this time, he's not letting me see the cards he is shuffling. After a while of shuffling, he soon placed the cards back at the center.
Panic: Now, you may cut it.
He says to me.
I did what he said and cut the deck. After which, he took the deck back.
Panic: Thank you. Now I-
Me: Hang on. There is something I want to add.
I said.
Panic: Really, now? Alright then. Explain.
Me: For this game, I can tell we will be doing some poker, judging from the chips I'm seeing. So, why not we bend the rules a bit, shall we?
Mitchell & Ironwood: Huh?
Panic: Bend the rules? Interesting..... tell me more.
Me: We'll determine on the wins by how many stars aka, levels it has. The folded cards with most stars or levels win. If you want to do this poker style, that's fine by me, too. Just as long the monsters are at the same level or stars and both are of the same type of monsters. Example will be Blue Eyes White Dragon and Nebula Dragon, Level 8 Light Monsters, or simply, Two Blue Eyes White Dragons, Level 8 Light Monsters. If you get three of the similar cards in, but your opponent has two similar cards, you win. Simple. That's one. When we have fusion-based monster cards on us when we fold, either the fusion with the highest star wins. That's two. Three, if we get the Pot of Greed card, we remove the card from our hand and two cards will be given to us without wasting a chip or chips. Finally, if we have any card or cards which give us an automatic win, you win the game in one shot. Sounds good?
I said.
Ironwood and Mitchell looked at each other in confusion while Panic looked at me with enthusiast.
Panic: Interesting. Interesting rules. Very well, then. We'll make use with what you said. Then that means, we can actually use any continuous and trap spells on each other, too. Is that it?
Me: Yes. This poker on Yu-Gi-Oh is not any ordinary game. It is a game of wits, brains and brawns.
Panic: HAH!!!! I like you, young chap, really I do! Very well. I accept your rules. Now, I shall deal the cards to us.
He said as he prepared to deal the cards to us.
I began to watch his dealing of the cards carefully, with a smirk on my face, to indicate that my Genius Gamer-self side is on to playing this game to the death.
