Chapter 52 - Heated Conversation

It's the next morning and Natalie is getting ready for shift. She is making herself a coffee when Kelly walks in
"Find your own way to work!" Natalie says coldly before grabbing her coffee and walking out
"So you driving or am I?" Casey asks
"I will!" Kelly says grabbing his keys
Natalie arrives at work first and is greeted by Cruz and Capp
"No Kelly today?" Cruz asks
"Yeah? You usually ride with him?" Capp says
"I'm not his bodyguard! How would I know where he is?!" Natalie shouts
"Okay!" Cruz says putting his hands up
"Sorry Luitenent!" Capp says as Natalie brushes past them
Minutes later Casey and Kelly arrive
"Severide! What have you done to Natalie!" Capp shouts as they rush over to him
"She was totally annoyed for no reason! What have you done?!" Cruz says out of breath from running
"I didn't do anything! Don't worry!" Kelly says as he smiles
"Then why did she almost kill us back there!?" Capp says
"And why are you smiling! This is no laughing matter!" Cruz says
"Okay! I'll talk to her!" Kelly says as he walks past
"You better!" Capp shouts
"Or you'll be the one 6 foot under!" Cruz shouts
"Yeah yeah!" Kelly says sarcastically
Kelly finds his way to Natalies quarters and knocks on the door
"Come in!" Natalie shouts without looking up
"Hey" Kelly says
"Oh it's you! What do you want?" Natalie answers coldly
"To talk? You've been avoiding me ever since last night!" Kelly says as he sits down on Harper's bed
"What's there to talk about Kelly? You still have feelings for her!" Natalie shouts
"Okay! Maybe I do? I was with her for 2 whole years Natalie! Love just doesn't go away!  And don't try to kid yourself! You still have feelings for gallo! We all know it!" Kelly shouts
"I don't! And I have more of a reason than you do! I called off my engagement for you! I gave that ring back! You were the one who said you loved me! Not the other way around! I dropped everything to be with you Kelly!" Natalie shouts
"So did I! I may not have been engaged to Stella but I loved her! And do you know how hard it was to sit in front of her and tell her that I loved someone else?" Kelly shouts with tears in his eyes
"I can't do this today Kelly! But you need to make your mind up! If you still love her then there's no point in us!" Natalie shouts before walking out
