-Narration-
What they see is max, but his skin had darkened to that same black color, and now has a very visible red outline on his body. No longer human, he now has a definite shell on his back as the spikes are glistening brightly, but the shell had also darkened. His new tail slammed on the ground a few times as it too, had spikes on it, but unlike his shell, there is only two of them. They saw that his hair is now colored as if it were on fire and the fact that he's now just a few inches shorter than bowser came as a shock to everyone, including bowser himself and even more so since he'a closer to max when he saw that the biggest change was that his head looked similar to roy without shades on, but saw that the whites of his eyes were glowing ominously and flames were erupting just as ominously from his mouth while growling angrily like a wild beast.
Max's shirt is now in tatters as he simply rips it off, revealing his upper body that showed his now glowing starlight crystal necklace, and a little bit of hair on his chest that, like the hair on his head, also became colored as if it was on fire. There is also a bloody claw mark on his now bulky body and his shoes are now ripped apart. "It can't be..." Bowser says in disbelief, after looking at roy, who didn't see max's face, but still in shock at what he's seeing, including the rest of the koopalings, kamek, and junior, who had just taken his bib off and turned back to normal, and everyone else couldn't see max's face, but just looking at max's body is enough to shock and frighten them. "Holy shit..." Mike says in utter shock, who didn't get a look at max's face yet, but just looking at dark fury was more than enough to shock him.
-Bowser pov-
There is no denying it now...max looks so much like...my younger cousin! But...as i looked at roy, who has no idea what i'm seeing...so does he...perhaps it's because i haven't seen my younger cousin maximilian for quite a long time? Bweh..It's become far too obvious to me now. But when it came to roy, it never occurred to me that he would have a resemblance to him too. However, i can't simply blab it out, even though i ought to...i must look at max after he's no longer in dark fury before i can make that that assumption official.
-Mike pov-
So, this is dark fury...agh, if only i could see his face, because judging from the look of shock on bowser's face, he clearly saw something i didn't. Wait..why did he look directly at roy?
-Roy pov-
I don't know why dad looked at me like that...but if it's because of what i'm seeing right now, then i'm just as shocked! Max just became...massive! "Woah..he's definitely no human now." Morton says, as if we're all blind. "No shit, sherlock!" I heard a voice say and would have gotten annoyed, had it not been for the fact I was seeing a...floating white teddy bear with a weird strap on it's body...while holding a giant lollipop. "And let me guess, you're marx?" I ask in a annoyed tone.
"No, i'm the protector of the moon, sent here to protect you dummies from the magishadow fuckheads...of course i'm marx!" He says to me in a sassy tone, which pissed me off, but i chose to not do anything for his sake.
"I don't recall you being so vulgar when i first met you." I hear ludwig say with a chuckle. "Ah, how very observant of you professor wavy hair...let's just say that i was holding back. Now shut up, this is getting good!" Marx says to ludwig who scoffs at his comment. I would be pounding this teddy bear into dust...if i wanted to be hit by that giant lollipop....thing...geez..how the hell can he lift that thing?
-Ludwig pov-
Hmph...rude. I don't know how he can go around holding that...giant lollipop. It makes no sense to me! I also took note that dad looked directly at roy before looking at max, who is definitely no human. Just what did he see that we are unable to see?
-Narration-
The rest of the koopalings and junior were far too shocked and frightened to do anything due to what they're seeing, and the same can be said of kamek, except for marx. "You..you are thinking you are the big bad now that you are the bigness? LET US SEE IF YOU HAVE THE READINESS FOR THIS! MAGISHADOW, KILL THIS FINK-RAT!!" Fawful says, who believed that this is just all for show, before pointing at max, yelling for any magishadow who are still around as eight of them appear, and surround max, thinking that he can't escape them.
"Leave...NOW." Max says with a threatening growl, but to mike's surprise, max wasn't speaking normally even though they all heard max's voice. All except mike had no idea that they were hearing max's voice within their minds. "Telepathy..." Mike mutters, who has long since heard of it, but up until now, he's never seen it in action.
"No matter what form you take, you will always be a von ghoul! The von ghoul family must be eliminated, and you are no exception!" One of them says, raising a wand at him, and fires a magical blast at full power directly at max's face, but to their surprise and horror, it doesn't even phase him, and swiftly responds with breathing fire on all of them while they screamed in agony while they ran around flailing while they all burned to death as they eventually fall to the ground while bowser and mike watched on in horror as did anyone else who heard and witnessed what had happened.
One of them who's still burning however, tried to cast another magical blast at max while screaming bloody murder, only to get backhanded hard enough to break their neck which killed them instantly before falling to the ground, but it became obvious that their head and part of their spine that is still attached to their head separated from their body and slid a few inches from the burning body, leaving quite a brutal mess. Fawful on the other hand, couldn't understand why it was so hard to get rid of max and become angry even while max looked at him with the most horrifying death stare which quickly unnerved fawful.
-Bowser pov-
WOW..he killed them all with one fire breath...save for one that actually tried to keep fighting while being burnt to a crisp who got brutally killed. Those hooded fools got what they deserved, but the con of dark fury, is those who have it...have no control over themselves. I..hope that's not the case.
-Mike pov-
I couldn't believe what i'm seeing...the brutal power of dark fury...i've never seen anything like it! To say that i'm never scared is a lie, especially since it's only been on very rare occasions...this uh..is one of them.
-Narration-
"You are a pain that fawful hates! The vision promised me that i would be getting my revenge!" He says, bringing out a laser gun that was colored red with a yellow tip. "I HAVE FURY!!" He yells, before shooting many laser shots at max, who begins to walks slowly towards fawful. Needless to say...each shot did nothing to max. "Your fury...means nothing to me." Max says while each step made it sound as if the ground beneath his feet had crumbled with each step he made which almost sounded as if it were like thunder. Fawful is starting to sweat now. He felt as if something was wrong...he became desperate and felt what felt like for the very first time...frightened.
"Fawful..has fleeing!" He says, who frantically presses a button on his laser gun, and from out of seemingly from the sky, fawful's headgear appears and if max had any control over himself, he would see that it's a rather unique rocket belt.
-Mike pov-
I could sense fawful's aura, and it suggested that...oh.. "Fawful, STOP!" I yell out to him. "Why tell him to stop? You might as well be talking to a brick wall!" Bowser asked me, who looked at me sternly. "Because that 'brick wall' is having a massive heart attack!" I say to him, and i watch his expression change from stern, to looking like he's seen a ghost. Seeing bowser react like that...that's definitely not normal...
-Bowser pov-
Heart attack..? I remember the time my father had his heart attack...during the koopa kingdom civil war, he went on and on about something called the vision and he...at that moment, it instantly hit me. "No..not this again..." I say in a panic.
-Narration-
Just as max had reached fawful, he stood there, towering over him as fawful looked manic. "This..was not suppose to be of the happening! The vision...EYA-HA-HA-HA!!! The vision was supposed to be of the aiding! And now, here i am at your mercy..." Fawful was now hunched over his headgear, as max's angry expression softened as mike went to fawful's aid, while bowser felt as if he was experiencing a haunting form of deja vu. "Fawful...you got to stop!" Mike says as he tries to help, only for fawful to slap his hand away.
"Killing you...is no longer worth it." Max says which to the surprise of all, max seemed to be in control of himself, but for how long is anyone's guess. "I don't know what this 'vision' is that you are talking about, but i know this: The fact that i now live a better life after you caused what i had called the roaring hurricane for so long...is the ultimate form of revenge. You, fawful, did not deserve to have your fate to be in hands of the magishadow." Max says as the flames erupting from his mouth dissipated while the storm is finally starting to stop.
"Hah..and hah again! Your are the soft! I wound you, and you give me the pity? I wanted so much...the mushroom kingdom...this kingdom...all mine! The..mustaches...how i hate them..." Fawful at this point had fallen to his knees. "My..words will be..s-spoken with the bluntness of a knife for buttering. The dark star...they are not..who you think they are! EEYAH-HAHAHA..haha.." Was the last thing fawful ever said before laughing madly and then he fell on his side, his eyes no longer glowing red as they returned to normal and mike saw that they're now light blue as a single tear fell as it slid down his face.
Fawful. The beanish villain of the past...is no more.
"Such a pity...fawful may have been so fucking annoying, but even he didn't deserve this." Marx says with a sympathetic sigh, making the koopalings and kamek wonder what marx is talking about before a strange letter appears from out of the shadowy veil in front of mike. "Hm..what's this?" Mike wondered as he read it.
"We have clearly underestimated the lot of you. Fawful served his purpose, and i am glad to be rid of him. My gift should have never been given to him, but alas..he ultimately brought max to a new beginning. I am a fair being. I will grant you one year to recuperate. After that? May the darkness consume you. Signed: Z." Mike read as bowser listened in.
"He was being used ?" Bowser wonders. "Fawful said in his dying breath that the dark star isn't who we think it is...There is no doubt that he knew about it ever since he merged with them who we know as dark bowser, but it was never once brought up." Mike says, hypothesizing a theory that he could be right about for all he knew.
At that moment, max is hit with that familiar feeling which he instantly remembered a name that was far from familiar to him, but something about it made him feel...guilty? "Xaczxar..." Max says in a saddened tone, before he fell to his knees, slowly returning to...a new normal before falling forward. Bowser quickly caught him and he now had a clear look at max's face, who is now completely out of it and barely conscious. And now, so did mike. "No way..." Mike says in disbelief. "He..he looks like roy..." Bowser says in disbelief.
"Yeah, but he doesn't have a pink head..." Mike says, seeing that max now had a light blue head along with his short mohawk. They also saw that his shell was orange and the rings that were surrounding each spike were also the same blue color. "But...who the hell has 'xaczxar' as a name?" Mike wonders. "No idea...but we need to get him help, fast!" Bowser says. "I'll deal with that..." mike says, before mike looks towards where a crowd was beginning to gather. "WE NEED HELP OVER HERE, NOW!!!" Mike yells whose emotions were starting to get the better of him as kamek immediately rushed over. "What do..ohh.." Kamek says before looking at max, now a koopa.
"Please..get him help.." Bowser pleaded, something he's never done before. "Oh And what about him?" Kamek asked, looking over to fawful's dead body. "Don't worry about fawful...he's long gone." Bowser responds. "It will be done my king! The nearest hospital isn't far from here." Kamek says before gently putting a hand on max, and teleporting away. "Well, it's been fun, but i gotta bounce! Max will need company where he's going..." Marx says, which alarmed the koopalings. "You better not be saying that he's dead!" Morton demanded. "Dead? The old max is no more, but the new max? Oh, you'll all be in for a big surprise! And so will mr pink boy! Tah tah !" Marx says, who simply vanished with 'pop' sound.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" Roy wonders, who is not only annoyed with marx, had he also has no idea that his life, as well as max's...is about to be permanently changed forever. As for max? His subconscious mind has drifted off into a unknown place, where he is about to experience an encounter that he's anything but prepared for.
