They saw her growing up as a girl in the Kasi. I saw her as my beautiful Black Queen, because against all odds, she did what they said was beyond her reach and she showed them that no matter the colour of your skin…you can reach for the stars, and she became a nurse and mind you, they were living in the Apartheid-era.
