Y/N: Isabella. Ima go to the gate real quick.
It was evening and the kids were all in their room getting ready for bed. So I felt now would be the perfect time to get the thing I requested from Grandma.
Isabella: Ok.
She nodded.
I exited the house and started walking to the gate.
Humming to a song, it was certainly a peaceful evening.
I got to the gate and found Grandma carrying the item I requested.
Grandma: I thought you'd be here by now.
Y/N: I mean I've been wanting one of these for a while. So I appreciate this.
She nodded.
*Time Skip*
Y/N: Isabella! Look what I got!
I entered the room unexpectedly making her jump a little.
Isabella: You got a guitar?
I nodded, playing a melody.
Isabella: I'm not surprised you know how to play.
She got up from her chair and I continued to play a melody.
Y/N: Ahem..I'd like for you and I to go romancing, say the word you're wish is my command!
I playfully sang, while playing the guitar.
Y/N: Ooooo Love, oooo loverboyyy.
I smiled when I stopped playing and looked at Isabella who was also smiling.
Isabella: You seem happier.
Y/N: I mean ya.
I set down the guitar.
Y/N: I got this new guitar, and I don't have to work with Daren anymore! Life is good.
I said playfully.
Isabella: Daren?
Y/N: Ya. He was actually the dude I got in a fight with.
She tilted her head.
Y/N: And hated..
I sat against a table.
Y/N: Its fine though. They replaced him with a girl.
Isabella: Oh really?
Y/N: Ya, my buddy Alex is totally into her.
I chuckled.
Y/N: I get it. She is kinda cute.
I said unmotivated and picked up something that was next to me. I looked up at Isabella to find her eying me.
Nervous I put my hand in the back of my neck.
Y/N: Oh~ is my darling Isabella jealous~?
Isabella: As if.
Y/N: Aww don't worry about it, you don't have to worry about me going after someone else~
I teased making her look away from me. She crossed her arms and I thought I would take this up a notch.
I made my way over to her and put my finger on her chin.
Making her look up at me.
Y/N: You didn't answer..Darling. Jealous?
Isabella: Of course I'm not!
She slightly blushed.
Y/N: I'll make it up to you.
I stepped away from her.
Y/N: For making you jealous. Darling~
I chuckled and she stayed quiet.
Taking my guitar, I made my leave, and closed the door behind me.
Where did all that confidence come from?
I blushed.
