"Zup, bro. Ang tagal mo naman eh kanina pa kami naghihintay sa'yo. Your GIRLFRIENDS are making a scene here."
Nginisihan ko lang si Miles bago umupo sa katabi niya couch at kinuha ang sinalin niyang Hapsburg Gold Label. I immediately drink it with just a single shot that made me groan because of its taste. Damn, ang tapang. He really wants me to get drunk, huh?!
"Hi babe! I miss you, ba't ba ang tagal mo?! Nagtatampo na tuloy ako." Lumapit sa'kin ang isang babae na nakasuot ng maikling palda at tube saka umupo sa harap ko.
She's pouting like an ugly duckling. Yuck!
My brows frowned while looking at her, disgusted."Stay away from me, you ugly creature! I don't even know you, bitch."
"What?! We just make out yesterday! Papaanong hindi mo ako kilala?!" She seemed so pissed and stood up from sitting on my lap.
We just make out, not made love. Magkaiba 'yon.
I just rolled my eyes on her and took another glass of liquor."I don't exactly remember those girls whom I already flirted with. I'm a playboy and I just do one-day relationships. Get it?"
"Argh. I thought you already changed because of me! Sabi mo sa'kin kahapon ako lang ang babae mo! You, cheater!" Padabog naman siyang umalis dala ang sling bag niya. I just shook my head and brushed my hair to make myself more attractive in their eyes.
"Hindi ka talaga nagsasawang paglaruan ang mga babae 'no? Kung sabagay, nasa dugo mo narin naman 'yan. Wala ka bang balak itigil yang ginagawa mo?" Rynier arrived from the counter, bringing two bottles of Crown Royal Whisky and placed it on our table.
We're on a bar right now, celebrating because next week would be our second semester and I know it would be tiring. As usual.
Ngumiti ako sa mga babaeng nasa kabila na tumitili dahil sa'kin."Of course not. Why would I? It's been my daily routine since then and there's no way I would stop it. Halos minu-minuto, iba't-ibang babae ang kasama ko at hindi ko kayang pigilan ang sarili ko roon."
"Ako wala talagang plano kagaya mo."I turned my gaze on Miko and so as Miles and Rynier."Araw-araw nasa tatlo ang kinakama ko kaya palagi ko nang ginagawa 'yun. Sa lakas ba naman ng sex appeals ko, ha!" he holds his chin, looking proud of himself.
In our circle of friends, we have different hobbies. Miko is known as the wildest. He's the best player that everyone knows, but I'm the most popular. Playing girls in bed is his supremacy and doesn't enter any kinds of relationships. Unlike me, I just do flings whenever I'm bored. Pampalipas oras ko lang siguro 'yon at nakagawian ko na. I don't do sex but kisses, maybe because I'm not ready for it or I just don't want to. I prefer playing girls hearts than doing such things. Do'n, kontento na ako.
And if we talk about Miles, he's just a common guy in all of us. He has many crushes but he'd never been in a relationship and not also a playboy. Kumbaga, siya 'yong tipong palaging nanunukso pero kapag siya na madaling mapikon. He's also a joker in our group and always lighten up the mood whenever we're upset. He's everyone's bestfriend, I guess. Kung ako ang tatanungin, hindi naman ako kagaya niya. Dahil bukod sa pagiging cassanova ko ay sa pang-aasar lang ako mahilig.
And the last is Rynier, known as the kind-hearted and workaholic. Sa aming lahat siya talaga yung pinakamatino at matured kung mag-isip. He's like a brother to us and always told us to be responsible. May girlfriend siya 1 month pa lang sila. Sana nga magtagal pa sila. I admire his truthfulness and honesty, a sort kind of a perfect guy I think? Walang wala kaming tatlo kumpara sa kanya, para siyang si kuya Daron. He's hard to reach but I have my own personality too and I'm contented on it. At least I'm being me, right?
"Hi, I'm Patricia. You're the most popular cassanova, Shael? Tama ba ako?"
A girl approached me in the counter while I'm getting another drink. Naubos na kase namin yung dala ni Rynier, wala eh malakas kaming uminom.
I gave her my attractive smile that I usually use to catch girls."Yeah. It's nice to meet you. Wanna have a drink?"
She just nodded without hesitation that's why I handed her a cocktail of Apple Martini and she accepted it immediately. We gave each other a toast our drinks before drinking it. I stared at her sexy body while she's pouring a drink on her cocktail. She's wearing a small skirt and sleeveless without wearing a blazer. Hindi ko nga alam kung nagsuot ba siya ng bra o ano, mukhang sanay na siya. She's really a slut, huh?!
"Do you have a girlfriend?" she suddenly asked me while playing the cocktail on her hand.
I sat on the stool and faced her."No. I don't do that and everyone knows it. How about you? Do you have a boyfriend?"
"No. Just the same as you. Matalas ang mga mata ng tao at madali nilang malaman kung may dini-date ako. I'm a model just to tell you and my manager doesn't allow me to have one." Napatawa nalang siya at umiling bago nilagok yung sinalin niya. A model, huh?!
"But I can have you for this night, right? Don't worry, just a fling. Nauubusan na ako ng babae at boring din sila kasama. I hope you can accompany me, would you?" I smirked as I raised my glass to take a toast with her and so she did.
"Of course, why not?" she just chuckled before we took a shot and gave each other a wide smile.
Bigla niya nalang nilapit ang mukha niya sa'kin at hinalikan ako kaya wala akong nagawa kundi tumugon dito. I can't deny the fact that she's a good kisser. Mukhang expert na siya, hindi lang halata. It last for about 5 minutes before we parted our lips. Damn, I like it.
"That was nice, Phylia." Nginisihan ko siya pero kumunot lang ang noo niya at tumayo.
"What?! It's Patricia not Phylia! Kakasabi ko lang kanina, ba't bigla mong nakalimutan?!" She hissed, raising her voice on me.
I just shrugged my shoulders and finished drinking my Gold Label before I stood up."I don't care whatever it is. Excuse me, I'll go now. Nakakasawa ka naman kasama, tsk."
I just left her dumbfounded in the counter and went directly to my friends in the couch. They probably saw what happened because Rynier shook his head and Miko gave me a high five. Miles just laughed on what I did and gave me another glass but it's different from before. I accepted the GlenDronach and drink it but I just regretted. Tang'na, ang sama naman ng lasa. Paniguradong sasakit ang tiyan ko neto at ang mas malala ay baka masuka pa ako. Bwisit na Miles 'to.
"Takte! Sa'n mo kinuha ang alak na 'to, Miles?!" Napangiwi ako pero tinawanan lang ako ng loko. I badly want to cut his neck right now.
"Sa counter malamang, sa'n pa ba. Ikaw ang unang pinatikim ko niyan, tiningnan ko lang kung anong magiging reaksyon mo. What does it taste like?" He kept on laughing while holding his stomach. Sa totoo lang, nagmumukha siyang baliw sa ginagawa niya.
I just rolled my eyes on him and put the glass on the table. I don't want to drink it again."Lasang tae, gago! It's unfair if you won't taste it too. Ubusin mo yang ininom ko 'wag ka nang magreklamo."
He holds his chest as if he was hurt."Ayoko bro, baka may virus 'yang laway mo. Gusto ko munang makaranas magkaroon ng girlfriend bago mamatay. Maawa ka naman sa'kin oh."
"Sino ba kaseng nagsabi sa'yo na 'wag kang mag-girlfriend. Look at me, I've already tasted so many girls. Don't you want it?" Miko interrupted.
Minsan talaga nakakadiri magsalita ang isang 'to. Even though we're the same, I don't want to be like him. Kapag kase gumawa ako ng kababalaghan, naiisip ko si mommy, si Katria, kahit papaano naman ay may respeto parin ako sa babae.
"'Wag mong turuan ng mga gawain mo yang si Miles, Miko. He doesn't want to be like you, you know that. Hindi ka talaga matinong kausap kahit kailan." Napailing nalang si Rynier at napansin kong hindi na pala siya umiinom. Maybe because he needs to get home safe and he also know his limits.
Pagkatapos kong magsaya sa bar ay agad na akong umuwi sa mansion namin. It was past 12:00 when I got back and everyone in the mansion was already sleeping. I felt a little bit dizzy because of my alcohol tolerance that's why I went to the kitchen to drink some water. Napahinto ako nang madaanan ko ang kwarto ni kuya Daron dahil nakaawang 'yon ng konti. I found out that he's typing something on his laptop that made me confused. Hindi pa naman nagbubukas ang second semester ah. Ano bang ginagawa niya at gising pa siya ng mga ganitong oras.
I was about to walk away when he suddenly saw me and put his glasses away. Mukhang nahimasmasan narin naman ako dahil nakainom na ako ng tubig at kumain rin ako ng konting chocolate sa ref. Hindi niya naman siguro aamuyin ang damit ko hindi ba?
"You came from the bar, didn't you?" he raised his eyebrow on me that made me looked away. Nakakatakot talaga si kuya kahit kailan.
"How did you know, kuya? Wala naman akong sinabi ah," sambit ko at niluwagan ang necktie ng suot kong tuxedo. Ang init kase eh, kaasar.
He let out a sigh and brushed his hair."You're my brother, of course I know where are you going whenever you're not here. Kung wala ka sa bar, nambabae ka na naman. I know it."
"It's my hobby since then, kuya. Hindi ako mapakali kapag wala akong babae," sagot ko na lang.
"Fine. Fine. But remember what I told you, Shael. Never disobey my rules or else you'll taste my punch. You'll regret everything if you won't stop what you're doing before it's too late." He throwed me a death glare and I just nodded on him. Hindi ko siya kayang suwayin.
"Pareho lang naman kayo ni Katria, eh. Bagay nga kayo." Napailing nalang ako ng bigla ko siyang naalala."Wait, where is she? Did she stayed on her condo or she's on her room? Umuwi ba siya sa kanila?" sunod sunod kong tanong.
Pinanliitan niya ako ng mata dahil sa tanong ko. Hmp, over-protective.
"She's on my room, sleeping. We went to Baguio earlier and she's tired when we got back." He opened the door widely and I saw her sleeping peacefully on the bed. She's facing here that's why I could see her whole face.
"Seloso, tsk. Don't worry kuya, I won't steal your girl. Asa namang papatol 'yan sa'kin eh baka bugbog lang ang abutin ko sa kanya. When she's sleeping, she looks like an angel. But when she's awake, she looks like a dragon that was about to eat a human." Napadaing naman ako ng bigla niya akong batukan at samaan ng tingin.
Damn, he's protecting her instead of me. Grabe na talaga kapag in love ang isang tao. Mabuti na lang at wala ako no'n.
"Don't say something like that. It hurts me whenever someone is throwing some hurtful words to her. Besides, if she heard what you said she'll probably hit you a hundred times," he smirked and seemed so proud of her girlfriend.
Napanguso nalang ako at pinagkrus ang mga braso ko."Hindi naman magkadugtong ang atay niyo ah. At saka wala naman akong sinabing masakit na salita. You're so harsh on me, kuya. Why is she sleeping on your room? She has her own room, kuya. Isusumbong ko talaga kayo ni mommy, hindi pa kaya kayo kasal."
Ha! My brother was under my control. Isang galaw niya lang magsusumbong talaga ako.
"Don't think such a nasty thing, Shael. I'm going to sleep on the floor. Go to your room now." Sinara niya bigla ang pinto kaya bumagsak ang balikat ko. Right, he's not like that. He know his limits and he think before he decide.
Bakit hindi ko nga ba naisip 'yon?!
I was in the middle of dreaming when I heard the loud sound of my phone. Kainis! I didn't bother it because I don't have enough sleep last night. I'm so tired that's why I couldn't even open my eyes. Ugh. Sino ba kase 'yang tumatawag ng ganitong oras. Hindi niya ba alam na natutulog pa 'yong tao?! Tang'na.
"Hello?!" I answered with an irritating voice
[Uh... H-Hi Shael. Can yo--]
Without hesitation, I ended up the call and brushed my hair. Wala na. Nawala na ang antok ko dahil sa bwisit na 'yon. I look at my phone and I found out that there were many missed calls from different girls that I don't even know. I get the simcard of my phone and broke it before throwing in the trashcan.
Punyemas! Kakapalit ko lang ng sim kahapon eh, pa'no nila nakuha ang number ko?! Seems like I have to buy a set of SIM cards to have some stock.
I stood up on my bed before going downstairs to eat breakfast. My brows frowned when I heard laughs coming from the kitchen. Did they eat already without waiting for me?! Darn it! Ang sama talaga nila kahit kailan. When I finally entered, I saw them eating a cake, pizza, and a set of jollibee. Sarap na sarap sila sa kinakain nila habang ako hindi naman lang inimbita. Aish.
"Hoy, ano 'yan ha?! Why didn't you wake me up?! Ang daya niyo naman eh." I sat beside Cohen but he just rolled his eyes on me.
Galit parin ba sa'kin ang isang 'to?!
"Kahit siguro gumuho ang mundo hindi ka parin magigising, Shael. Your brother told me that you came home past in the midnight. Kung gising pa ako no'ng oras na 'yon baka napektusan na kita," Katria said and took a bite of the pizza that Kuya Daron handed to her.
Napailing na lang ako at kumuha ng burger sa plastic."I don't want to have a quarrel with you, Kat. Lahat ng mga kapatid ko ang makakalaban ko 'pag nagkataon."
They all laughed on what I said and started to eat while having a little chitchat. Namimiss kong makipag-hangout sa kanila kaso kahit na sembreak ay busy parin sila. Kuya Daron and Katria were always going out for a date and he doesn't want us to bother them. Cohen was busy showing his perfect features to everyone like going out with his group full of populars. Raizer was always practicing to write a thesis or essays to improve his skills whenever the second semester will start.
Akken as usual, have many friends since he's a friendly guy that's why I always saw him with someone I know. While me? Hindi na 'yan tinatanong pa. I'm always everywhere, dating with different girls in every hour. Hindi na ako ang dapat pang maghanap ng babae dahil sila na ang naghahanap sa'kin. Ganyan kapag sikat ka, ha!
"So, do you have a girlfriend right now?" She took a sip on the drink that she ordered and laid her fingers on my hand.
Her name was Fillet? Vignet? Pinakbet? Tsk. Whatever.
I smirked and holds her hand."Nah. I don't do girlfriends, baby. I can only gave you one hour to flirt with me but after that, it's over."
"Well, we just have 25 minutes left baby. Can you accompany me on my room? It'll be quick." She bit her lower lip but I wasn't attracted on it. It just make her uglier.
"I'm sorry but I can't do what you want. Hindi ako pumapatol sa mga asong laspag at hindi rin ako nagkakama ng babae. You're so boring to be with." I left a bill on the table before getting out of the restaurant, leaving her speechless.
The girl that was with me earlier was a famous singer. We know each other on instagram and she asked me to eat with her. I can't refuse on it so I just agreed. She even left her fan meeting just to be with me. I'm not her priority but she still chose me instead of the important things that she need to do.
See? Halos lahat ng babae inuuna ako dahil alam nilang isang beses lang 'to mangyayari sa buong buhay nila. Though, hindi nga lang lahat. Katria wasn't included to them, she's hard to get. Si kuya Daron lang ang nakabihag sa kanya, wala akong laban do'n.
I thought that being with her will lessen the boredom that I'm feeling right now. But then, I was wrong. Wala siyang alam na topics at puro landi lang. Sinasabayan ko lang din naman siya kaso mabilis talaga akong magsawa sa mga bagay-bagay kaya ayon. Pati pagmumukha niya napagsawaan ko narin.
"Hindi na ba talaga kayo magbabago? Ako ang naaawa sa kahihinatnan niyo." Miles gave me a popcorn and I just accepted it.
I raised my eyebrow at him while my attention was still on the movie that we're watching."I was just playing with them so what's wrong on it? Alam naman nila na hanggang laruan lang sila at kahit kailan hindi ako magseseryoso. They knew who I am but they still choose to be played. Kasalanan na nila 'yun."
"He's right, we've been like this ever since. Palagi akong may kasamang tatlong babae at pinagsasabay ko pa sila sa isang araw lang. It's their decision to offer their body to me and I'm not forcing them. There's no way that I could stop what I'm doing because I'm used to it." Miko get another cookies on the plate, still focused on the movie.
"Everything has limitations, remember that. What you're doing right now was just for satisfaction only. And if you'll reach the limit, you'll be dead. You'll taste something more that pain like what you've caused to the girls you've played," Rynier said seriously that made me scared.
Is he scaring the two of us or what?!
"He's right," Miles interrupted from the kitchen while holding the drinks and place it on the table."I couldn't imagine the punishment that you should face. At saka, tatanda kayong binata niyan," dagdag niya pa at ininom ang soda na kakabukas niya lang.
Miko just laughed, not feeling a little bit nervous."Basta masaya ako sa ginagawa ko ngayon. 'Yon lang ang iniisip ko at wala ng iba."
I hugged the pillow on my chest and get a can of soda. After watching the movie, we ended up drinking a beer that made me pass out. Hindi lang naman ako, pati rin sila. I would be really dead if I came home drunk or smells like one. I just texted Cohen that I won't be there for just one night because we're going for a bar like we usually do.
After eating dinner in Miles house, we went directly to the bar. But of course, I wear something formal that could attract everyone. Kahit naman anong suotin ko, tatablan parin sila ng karisma ko. 'Yon nga lang hindi kami kumpleto dahil hindi makakasama si Rynier. His girlfriend was sick that's why he needs to take care of her. He's responsible with it. Mukhang malabong magkahiwalay pa sila. Sa ugali ba namang meron siya, asa!
"Guys, cr lang ako ah."
We just laughed at Miko because we know that he would never come back.
"Grabe! Ang dami namang sexy dito, magaganda pa. Crush ko yang tatlong babae malapit sa stage." He pointed the girl that was wearing the same outfits but they don't look like they're twins.
"Fine. I know that I could make them fall in love with me. But since you're my friend, I'll just gave them to you," I smirked as my eyes were roaming around to look for girls that I could flirt for this night.
Siniko niya naman ako at napatawa nalang."Yabang mo ah! Nahawaan kana ng kapatid mong si Cohen. Pero kung sabagay, being arrogant was running on your blood so what do I expect?!"
Umalis si Miles saglit para kumuha ng maiinom. My day won't be complete if I couldn't drink alcohol, my hobby I guess? Kami namang lahat mahilig uminom kaso si Rynier pinagbabawalan minsan ng girlfriend niya kaya hindi siya makatanggi. Under, amp.
Maraming mga nagsasayawan sa gitna ng stage tapos yung iba nagmimilagro na sa kabila. I'm in a bar so we couldn't help something like this to happen. Girls were everywhere and if I want to get one, I can because they couldn't say no to me. Syempre, ako na nga ang nag-aya tapos sila pa ang hihindi?! Though, I will pick those girls who aren't into sex. Hindi ko maibibigay sila kanina 'yon. I'm not into things like that as what I've said.
"Your mom is looking for you! Hindi ka man lang ba uuwi?"
May narinig ako babae na sumigaw sa likod ko kaya agad akong napalingon sa kanila. The girl who shouted has a blond hair while the girl that was with her has a black curly hair.
They seemed to be in a little fight.
"I told you, I'm not going home. Bakit pa ba kailangan ko pang umuwi?! I don't wanna see her being with that man. Baka kung ano pang magawa ko sa lalaking 'yon," sagot naman no'ng babaeng kasama niya. I suddenly felt strange on her voice, something that caught me.
I haven't heard their conversation because they were gone on my sight. Umalis na ba sila? Bakit hindi ko man lang napansin?! Maybe I was busy thinking about that girl. Hindi ko man lang nakita ang buong mukha niya dahil medyo madilim dito. The spotlights were on the stage and there was just a little light that was pointing everywhere. Hindi nga namin masyadong makita ang isa't isa.
"Sorry kung natagalan, bro. A girl approached me and asked for my number but I just gave her my socmed accounts." Miles finally arrived with a two bottles of Balkan 176 Vodka.
I rolled my eyes on him."Hindi ko naman tinatanong."
"Eh?! Anyare sa'yo? Hindi ka naman masungit ah, sinaniban ka ba?!" kunot noo niyang tanong habang nagsasalin ng inumin sa baso namin.
I don't get it. Why am I pissed when I didn't know who's that girl. Kahit naman lang pangalan niya, okay na. Argh. Sana nagtanong na lang ako kaso mukhang parehong mainit ang ulo nila ng kasama niya. Maybe we'll see each other next time.
There's something on her that caught me off guard.
