Chapter 40 - Sometimes people do stupid things...

Natalie looks around to see herself trapped in between a fire
"Kelly! Where are you?" Natalie asks through the radio
But Kelly doesn't respond
"Damn it! My signals gone!" Natalie shouts annoyed
Natalie try's her best to figure out a plan. She thinks and thinks and comes to a decision. She is just going to run through a small gap in the middle of the fire
*Outside*
"Where is she?!" Casey asks as Kelly runs out
"Who?!" Kelly says taking all of his gear off
"Natalie!" Casey says looking in the door
"She was right behind me! She should be coming out now!" Kelly says turning around to look at the door
5 minutes go by and there is still no sign of Natalie
"I'm going back in!" Kelly says grabbing his mask
"No your not!" Chief shouts
"Come on chief! She could be trapped under something!" Kelly shouts back
"She would have told us if she was!" Chief says looking at Kelly with a stern look
"The signal is crap in there! She wouldn't have been able to get through!" Kelly shouts
"I'm not sending another man in there! And that's final!" Chief shouts as Kelly takes his helmet and throws it on the ground
*Inside*
"Okay Natalie! We've got this!" Natalie says to herself
Natalie braces herself before getting ready to run through the fire. She runs though and burns her arm pretty badly
"Ahhh!" Natalie says grabbing her arm
But little does she know that her scream went through the radio
"Natalie!? Come on talk to me?! Are you hurt?" Kelly asks panicking
But Natalie doesn't respond as she is too focused on getting out. She is navigating her way through the prison until she finally reaches the door and stumbles out
"Natalie!" Kelly shouts as he runs towards her
"Natalie!" Casey shouts following Kelly
"I'm so stupid" Natalie says pulling off her jacket to reveal her very brunt arm
"Ouch! That looks bad" Kelly says as he spots Natalies arm
"How could you have been so stupid?! You could have gotten yourself killed Natalie!" Gallo shouts
"Hey!" Kelly says turning around to face gallo
"Kelly leave it!" Natalie whispers as she steps in front of Kelly
"Don't you dare speak to me like that! I'm your Luitenent not just another firefighter you can shout at! I went over this in the truck whatever you have against the person you leave that at the firehouse! You never take it out to fires with you!" Natalie shouts
Gallo goes to say something but stops himself and walks away
"Let's get you checked out" Kelly says smiling
