" We should never have gone with her crazy idea to hike in woods that was "safe" . Really ?. What's safe about a man with blood red eyes that wanted to kill us ", Bonnie ranted as the girls drove home after running for their lives from a clearing that was clearly not safe to be at .
They'd gone with Bella to the clearing after hiking a long time through the woods , getting lost a few times before finally getting there.
The clearing wasn't as beautiful as Bella had promised them when they started out their hike.
It was brown and dry, with not a single flower in sight .
Then there was this ash pale African American guy with long Rasta locks,blood red and a sort of Jamaican accent .
He knew Bella and he talked of someone named Victoria who he was doing a favour for by checking if Bella was still alive or something. He knew the Cullens too.
Bonnie gave him a headache with a spell she'd used on Damon and other Vampires before ,then as if in cue a pack of huge horse size wolves appeared, attacking the man . Then the girls had ran as fast as their feet could carry them to the car.
" And don't get me started on those wolves ," Bonnie continued ," Where in the world did they come from?".
" What I want to know is who the guy is ",Elena said looking at Bella who sat staring down at her lap ,trying not to panic because now the cat was out of the bag and she didn't know if she could still lie and deny about anything right now .
Then she thought of what Bonnie had done and that made her wonder what Bonnie is seeing that she's human yet she used an ability like Vampires would .
" Bella , who was that guy ?", Alexandra asked in a quiet tone ," And don't tell us that he's nobody because he knew you and he looked strange ."
Bella bit her lower lip wishing she could just vanish or something because how could she tell them and not betray the Cullens.
" Laurent", she said after a few beats of silence ," Don't ask me what he is because I can't ... I just can't ".
" Oh really ?. Because we think because our lives were in danger too , we have the right to know," Bonnie said snarkily.
Bella sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose . " Can we just drop it ?. Let's just get home . My Dad's probably already home and we can tell him about the wolves ."
Elena huffed . As did Alexandra . Bella was really stubborn when she decided to hide secrets .
" Fine , keep your secrets. We'll figure it out eventually ", Bonnie said , letting it go for now .
When they get home not only Jeremy, Harry Clearwater and Charlie are there ,but also three guys and a girl namely Alaric, Damon, Stefan and Caroline .
Bella ignored the newcomers and spoke to Charlie " Dad , they're not bears !", she exclaimed ," They're wolves and they're huge ."
" Bells, what are you on about now ?", Charlie asked .
" We went on a hike in the woods and_" Alexandra began ,but got cut off by Charlie .
" Whoa ,whoa, Girls, what did I say about not going going into the woods ?".
" Yeah but ,Dad, we saw them ," Bella whined .
" Are you sure ,Bella ?", Harry Clearwater asked quietly .
" Yeah and really , they're bigger than a horse , maybe bigger ", she said ,nodding .
Charlie sighed and got up ." Do you feel like going hunting ,Harry ?".
Harry Clearwater nodded ." Yeah , I'll call some guys ".
He left the kitchen that was now overly crowded and went outside to talk on his phone . He didn't really seem too eager to go on this hunt .
Charlie left the room also after giving the girls a stern order to stay at home and not go wandering in the woods again .
With him out of the room the girls turned to the newcomers .
" What are you guys doing here ?", Elena asked as she hugged Stefan first then Damon, Alaric and Caroline.
" We thought of getting away from all the hustle and not of Mystic Falls", Alaric said giving them looks to tell them what he really meant .
Only Alexandra and Bella didn't know what he meant . The former because she wasn't in the know anymore since she'd left and the latter because she didn't know of the supernatural beings of Mystic Falls.
" Oh okay. I'm just glad you guys came . Bella ,meet my other friends from Mystic Falls ," Alexandra said then introduced each one by name .
"Nice to meet you ", was all Bella said before getting out the ingredients for dinner .
Bonnie and Alexandra started helping her while Elena conversed with the others.
They spoke in low tones so Bella wouldn't hear them . Elena informed them of Laurent and Jacob's words on the Cullens the previous weekend .
" I tell you , if it wasn't for Bonnie , he'd have killed us for sure . The headache thing worked on him just like it worked on Vampires , so , I thought , maybe there's another kind apart from yours ?".
" I don't know . We can investigate . Maybe ask Elijah ", Stefan offered ," I know he's an Original ,but his been long enough in the world to know something like that ".
" Yeah, let's do that ", Alaric agreed .
" Let's just hope we don't get skewered like shish kebabs ", Damon added sarcastically before walking over to Alexandra to offer his help in making dinner.

" So , we're staying a little longer ", Elena told her twin after dinner when they were painting each others toenails in Alexandra's room ," We feel that getting away for a while would do us some good ."
"Aw, That's great . But what about school?".
" Don't worry we'll get back to that....Um...after spring break ,of course . But seriously , we want to be here . We missed you that much ."
Alexandra smiled at her . She was excited about having her sister there for a little longer . She'd really missed her .
" Aw ", she said , reaching out to pull her twin into a hug .
Elena laughed , hugging her back fiercely . They were both unaware of Stefan watching them from the doorway. They didn't see the satisfied and happy smile that appeared on his face.
" We should finish here and go check on Bella . Caroline's probably talking her ears off by now ", Elena said as they pulled back from each other .
" Don't worry ,Lena. Bella can handle her . She'd handled Alice Cullen and Caroline is a baby against her . Believe me. " Alexandra waved her hands dismissively in the air between them ," She was a real tornado when she was here . Would steamroller all over any objections . I actually liked her . Too bad see turned out to be just like her family . Poor Bella writes emails to her disabled account, constantly .At least she could've tried to stay in touch .Tsk "
Elena didn't say a word back . She only kept on painting her sister's toenails a bright neon rainbow .
Later on the twins did join Bella downstairs where she was wrestling with Jeremy for the remote while Damon, Caroline and Bonnie looked on. Stefan was nowhere to be seen.
Bella eventually gave up and offered to make everyone drinks . Bonnie immediately offered to help her and the two girls left to go do that .
Stefan finally appeared by Alexandra's side , claiming that he'd gone to wash his hands .
" Where's Ric?", Elena asked.
" With your Uncle . They're bonding like old bros . Let them be ", Damon said .
" Okay . So, are you guys going to stay too ?. For a while , I mean", Elena enquired.
" Oh yeah . Totally . Uncle Charlie's gonna get sick of us sleeping on his couch , drinking his beer . I should buy him a whole stash when we leave . I'm sure he'll appreciate it ."
" A whole stash you say ?", Alexandra asked, smiling at him ," How many is that ?".
Damon smirked ." For me to know and for you to ....uh....run along and play . Oh and don't worry . We've brought blood bags ,so no hunting around here".
" Thanks . I appreciate it . I'm sure the people here would too if they knew . Anyway, I'm gonna go see what's taking my cousin and Bonnie so long . "
With that said Alexandra walked to the kitchen where Bonnie was telling Bella all about being a witch because Bella had finally confronted her on what she did to Laurent.
" Did you know ?", Bella asked Alexandra .
" Yeah, Bella, Bonnie's me and Elena's best friend . We've known her since forever . She's a Bennett witch , which makes her one of the powerful ones . Oh and, Bon, do you happen to know a Cora Bennett?. She's the owner of the local diner here in Forks ".
" Um...No, but I can ask my Mom about her . Or I can go see her tomorrow and find out if she's family".
Alexandra smiled at her ,then helped Bella carry the tray of drinks to the living room.
