right now me and pikachu were about to board the plane but we were stopped a stewardess
'cmon ash think think think, BINGO i have the perfect plan' "uhm alright miss i'll be right back i have to go the restroom"
me and pikachu went to go the restroom luckily no one was here
"alright pikachu i know you dont like being in your pokeball so we only got one thing to do hehehe" i said to pikachu mischievously

'I hope this works' i thought, i mean why do i have to this, are they really that strict its not like that i am a bringing a groudon here with me
a few minutes later i arrive at the gate where the same stewardess was waiting for us, noticing i was not with pikachu anymore

while im going through the gate, excitement going through me, clearly forgetting about a certain yellow rodent, i found my seat and place my bag,i already made sure to leave a small gap for pikachu to breathe cuz to be honest i dont want to see a dead rodent when i open my bag when i arrive back in alola.

i turn around i see an angry pikachu with its cheeks sparking aggressively, everyone looked at me with sympathy because they know how screwed i was.

"uhm Pikachu have mer-AHHHHHHHHH" as soon I almost finished my sentence I got worst Which was a thunderbolt, the next thing I know I'm covered in soot
"Pika Pikachu pika pika chu !!!(ash you idiot you first you forgot to get me out of the bag, and now I had to walk to school, you deserve that)" Pikachu said
I regain myself and shook off the soot on me

"Alright fine I'll get you bottle of ketchup later" I said and Pikachu smiled at me i sighed in relief ,finally the only thing that can save from pikachu is always ketchup
"alright now that out of way , lets begin and our class" prof. kukui said and we all nod in agreement "so lets start"

school is over, we decided to go to aina's kitchen(mallows restaurant) just to hang out , but before we can leave the classroom professor kukui stops us to announce something which i already know what he was gonna talk about
"Now I'm pretty sure everyone lillie is gonna be coming back in a couple of days" kukui said "we will be surprising her and her family in their mansion when they arrive."
Everyone was assigned with their roles,then we left the school, while we were going to Mallow's place I kept thinking on what gift to give her when she comes back, but I'll think about it later
We arrived at Mallow's place while she was preparing food for us, we started planning out the decorations for the surprise welcome party, I was assigned on bringing the decorations
After our little hangout, we decide to go to hau'oli city for a while and to get our stuff for the surprise, and maybe I could look for a gift for lillie and maybe confess to her
My cheeks turn a bit red, good thing nobody really noticed, imagine confessing to lillie, but one thing that's bothering me, am I really worth it her? ,I'm mean look at me I'm ash Ketchum a dense head, took me so long to just realized that I was in love maybe there is someone out there that will probably make her happier than all that I know is just battling, acting like a kid, maybe-ahhh snap out of it ash you love her ash,show her that you really care for her rather than downing yourself

LANA'S POV
i looked at ash it seems like something is bothering him, I know I used too like him when we first met but now I look up to him as a big brother even though we are not family related, but still its nice to have someone look out for you I might as well ask him
"Ash you okay you seemed zoned out"I said because from the looks of it he looks like he is in deep thought
"Uh yeah I'm alright you don't need to worry"he replied and smiled
"Well if something is bothering you tell us we will be right by your side" I said to him

We made to the middle of the mall,we agreed to split up and get the stuff we need and regroup back here
"Alright guys see later"mallow called out and went out to buy her stuff

I already bought my decorations as I'm heading back to the spot on where to meet back I can't help but think that this could be the perfect opportunity to get her a gift, well to be honest the reason, but something tells me in my gut that I need to, something to be remembered by, something precious, hmm what could it be
As I was walking by, I couldn't help but stare at a certain pendant from the jewelry store, it feels like it's calling to me, might as well check it out
I walked in and then I saw it well I got closer to it, it was a perfect, a gold necklace with a emerald pendant that reminds me of her eyes(sorry my bad I'm bad at explaining things like this) but something else is inside thats feels a surge of power going through it, I looked at the price tag and let's just say it's not a friendly one, welp my moms gonna kill me
I looked at the jeweler Wich is in an old man, I called him out
"Ah how may I help you young man" the jeweler asks
"I was wondering if I could buy the pendant here"I replied and pointing at the pendant
"That pendant, I've been waiting for the perfect customer to come and buy that pendant for their loved one but i first give them a small trial to prove to me that they are worthy of buying this pendant" the jeweler said in a serious tone

Well if I want that pendant then I have to prove it
"Well I'm going to give to girl that I love, it took me long enough to realize it but from the bottom of my heart I truly love her, she is just perfect, she caring,loving, someone who will stay by your side when your feeling done, I want to make the best memories with her, this pendant just shows how much I love her and if I ever separate from her at least the pendant is the only thing that she can remember me from"I said with pride and confidence
The jeweler smiled at me, like he found the perfect caretaker of the pendant
"That takes a lot of confidence to say that out loud young man, but I can say this that you are the perfect one to give her this I feel your connection with her is strong, so you passed"the jeweler said
I shout in surprise, I never thought that I would pass that, I guess I really like lillie that much
After I that I requested the jeweler to place in a special in which he agreed to, after that I paid him and thanked him and started walking back to meet up spot
While I was walking back I kept thinking about on how to give this to her, I didn't realize that I bumped into someone and almost tripped

I didn't get enough time to get a good look on what he looked like since he was in a hurry, I just shrugged it off and went back, everyone was already there waiting for me, asking why I was taking so long I just replied by saying that I took quick stop at the malasada store at they just laughed in reply, we decided to call it a day and went home

After I bumped into the guy I was in hurry because I had to prepare a surprise for her when she comes back
I made a promise with her that I will come back for her and I won't let her down.
