Chapter 34- Were Just Friends....or not?

Natalie is on her way to the hospital with Caroline. They arrive at the hospital and Natalie walks Caroline in
"Hey there! And who's this?" Maggie asks
"This is my friend Caroline!" Natalie says smiling
"Hey there Caroline! My names Maggie!" Maggie says enthusiastically
"This is my friend Maggie! She's gonna take great care of you okay?" Natalie says smiling
"Okay" Caroline says as she walks away with Maggie
Natalie heads back to the firehouse when she arrives she can see Brandon waiting for her
"Where have you been?" Brandon says looking at his watch
"I went to the hospital with Caroline! Gotta problem with that? I cleared it with Boden first!" Natalie says annoyed
"No problem here! But you never speak to a Luitenent the way you did in that fire! I deserve some god damm respect!" Brandon shouts
"Oh like I deserved respect when you left me at the alter?! I payed for that wedding! I was a Luitenent! I had money and you didn't!" Natalie shouts as Kelly comes out
"You still haven't got over that?! That was years ago Natalie! It's not my problem if you can find another man that will put up with you!?" Brandon shouts
"Actually! Did you not see the ring on her finger?" Kelly says walking over
"Seriously?" Brandon says
"Yep! Meet my beautiful fiancé!" Kelly says as he takes Natalies hand in his
"Yeah!" Natalie says shocked
"You two? Wow! How long?" Brandon says not buying it
"2 years!" Kelly says as he smiles at Natalie
"I'm not buying it" Brandon says
Natalie starts to panic until she feels Kelly's hand slide up her back. He pulls her in for a kiss and Natalie pulls away shocked
"Ugh! I can't see anymore! I need some holy water!" Brandon says before walking away
"I think he bought it!" Kelly says laughing
"You kissed me Kelly! I'm engaged and you have a girlfriend!" Natalie says shocked
"They will never find out! Besides it not like I felt anything!" Kelly says
"What if Brandon mentions it!? Then we're screwed!" Natalie says putting her hands over her face
"If gallo believes Brandon over you then you need to call off the engagement! And plus aren't you already on bad terms? You haven't spoke to him in 2 weeks Natalie!" Kelly says
"I know! But I love him! He's the best thing that has happened to me well since Brandon! I can't loose that!" Natalie says as Kelly's face drops
"Yeah okay!" Kelly says before walking away
"What is his problem? Every time I mention gallo he goes funny!" Natalie thinks
