Applejack is a normal teenage girl who loves to sing, But doesn't like doing it in front of people. There's a singing competition coming soon. She really really wants to attend it but there was one problem; Stage fright. There was no way she was singing in front of a whole crowd. But she really wanted to attend that competition, If only she didn't have stage fright.
Her friends actually encouraged her to sign up, But she was too scared. Her friends thought it'll be great to have their friend in a singing competition. They heard her sing a few times and so did her family. But as far as everybody else, They didn't hear her sing before.
Applejack and her friends were currently at the park just enjoying theirselves. They were minding their own business until they saw something; It was the place where you sign up for the singing competition. Applejack suddenly tensed up, She wanted to sign up and at the same time she didn't.
Rarity: "Applejack, You alright there? You seem a little tensed up." Rarity said in a concerned tone.
Applejack: "I'm fine Rarity...Just debating on rather I'm gonna attend this competition or not." Applejack replied.
Fluttershy: "Well I think you should. You're a great singing Applejack and people would really love to have you sing at it." Fluttershy exclaimed with a smile, Applejack smiled a little and shrugged slightly.
Applejack: "I don't know. Singing in front of a crowd is just...scary to me. It's frightening!" Applejack said.
Rarity: "Darling everything is gonna be fine, I'm sure you'll rock out there...That's if you attend the competition. But Look, IF you attend you should know this; Just pretend that nobody is watching."
Applejack: "But how am I suppose to do that if there's literally more than 100,000 people watching me! The thought just makes me paranoid." Applejack said whilst shaking slightly.
Rarity: "Well, You could just imagine that someone you know is watching you. For example, Your Family, Or maybe your friends; Us." Rarity concluded her statement with a smile.
Fluttershy: "That's what I do when I'm nervous about performing or something in front of a crowd. I just imagine that nobody is watching me. Trust me, It works." Fluttershy said, Applejack stayed silent for moment. Not knowing what to say next, She appreciated the fact that her friends helped her out but she's still a bit nervous about singing in front of people besides her family and friends. But it was worth a try right? Applejack just sighed before saying anything.
Applejack: "Alright...I'll do it. But...Will you guys come?" Applejack asked, Her friends had grins on their faces and squealed. Applejack chuckled softly and rolled her eyes playfully.
Rarity: "Yes Darling! We'll be there." Rarity said, Applejack grinned and nodded.
Applejack: "Alright, Thanks girls."

After Applejack signed up for the singing competition, She slightly regretted signing in. She felt a nervous feeling in her stomach every time she thought about it. She had 3 days to practice her song. She wrote some songs, But she wanted to write a new one. She went upstairs to her room and grabbed her notebook she wrote all of her songs in and flipped to a blank page, She went straight into thoughts afterwords. She was thinking of a song she should make.
Something had eventually came to mind after 5 minutes of thinking, But she only had some of the words.

That was all she thought of, She didn't have any other ideas. But she had 3 days to do this, Which is good enough for her. She just decided to take a break; So she closed her notebook and put it up somewhere so she could find it when she needs it. Then decided to take a little nap.

A day had past. The competition was in 2 days, Applejack had thought of some other lyrics to the song she was making for a competition. She smiled, It was gonna work out just fine.

A/N: Alright, I just now realized that this song is shorter than I thought it was. But just know it wasn't made by me. But like yeah, I didn't know the song was this short. LOL.
And that was it, That was the lyrics to her song. True, It's short but worth it. Someone had unexpectedly come in her room, But the person who came into her room was expected. It was her little sister.
Applebloom: "Hey Applejack! You're Friends are here to see you! And also, You did some wonderful singing. I wish I could sing like you!" Applebloom said with a grin, Applejack blushed whilst giggling.
Applejack: "Thanks Applebloom. But next time, Don't barge into my room like that."
Applebloom: "You say that every time I just randomly come into your room, You don't even knock on my door when you come in my room!" Applebloom pouted, Applejack chuckled a bit.
Applejack: "Well, I'm older than you. So that's a different story." Applejack exclaimed with a smirk. Applebloom groaned.
Applebloom: "Ugh! Seriously!? No fair! I wish I was a big kid! Hmph!" Applebloom said as she stomped out of her sister's room. Applejack laughed lightly. She went downstairs and seen her friends sitting on the couch with smiles on their faces.
Applejack: "Hey guys."
Fluttershy: "Hey Applejack, How's the song coming along?" Fluttershy asked, Applejack smiled.
Applejack: "Great! I actually finished it. It's a short song but It's worth it." Applejack answered.
Rarity: "Well that's good that you have a song darling. Even though you could've used a song that you already made."
Applejack: "I know. I just didn't want to." Applejack said with a grin.
Rarity: "Alright well, Can we hear it?"
Applejack: "Sure!" Welp, I guess attending this competition wasn't so bad then she thought it was.

Applejack: "I'll take that back! Attending this competition was a bad idea!"
Fluttershy: "But Applejack, You can't back up on it now. Everything is gonna be fine, Just do what Rarity told you."
Rarity: "Yes Darling, You can do this. I know you can." Rarity reassured. Fluttershy was just checking out of the audience. After she was done doing that, Her face had a shocked look.
Fluttershy: "Oh, I didn't know Rainbow was a judge for this." Fluttershy said, Applejack's eyes widened.
Applejack: "Wait...What?? You mean Rainbow as an 'Rainbow Dash?!'" Applejack panicked. Fluttershy nodded. Applejack had a Crush on Rainbow since 8th grade. Why aren't they together you ask? Because Applejack doesn't have the guts to confess.
Fluttershy: "Yeah, Your Crush. Remember?"
Applejack: "I can't take this! She's one of the judges!? What if I go out there and mess up? What if I get so stressed out to the point that I might pass out or something!? What if I embarrass myself in front of everybody!? What if-"
Rarity: "Applejack Shut Up! Stop with the 'What ifs'! You are going to be fine, Do you hear me?? Now quit worrying, Everything is gonna go just fine. Just calm down." Rarity said. Applejack took a few deep breathes. Then she eventually calmed down.
Applejack: "Okay..I'm good now."

Meanwhile with the judges, Other performances were currently going on. Twilight and Pinkie enjoyed some of the performances. While Rainbow on the other hand, Was bored as heck. None of them interested her. Some of them weren't bad but most of them were a bit boring to her.
Rainbow Dash: *sigh* "This is getting boring..I don't see the point of being a judge anymore." Rainbow said.
Twilight: "Really? I'm actually enjoying this one." Twilight said honestly.
Rainbow Dash: "I mean, They're all not bad but most of them are just boring to me." Rainbow said.
Pinkie Pie: "Well look on the bright side Rainbow! Your crush actually attended this competition!" Pinkie exclaimed happily with a grin, Rainbow's eyes widened.
Rainbow Dash: "Wait..Applejack attended this??"
Pinkie Pie: "Yeah! She's actually right after this performance! Think I'm lying? Read the clipboard!" Pinkie said. Rainbow took the clipboard from Pinkie and started reading the names. Then that's when she found Applejack's name; Applejack Apple. Pinkie was right.
Rainbow Dash: "W-Wait...So I have to sit here and just...Judge my crush. How am I suppose to do that without having butterflies or something?!" Rainbow panicked, Pinkie giggled.
Pinkie Pie: "I don't know! But your gonna have butterflies in your stomach regardless. So you might as well deal with it."

It was now Applejack's turn to perform, She was nervous. And I mean, Really nervous. She didn't even wanna go onto the stage. Her friends are currently trying to comfort her but nothing is working at this point. But people gave her time though.
Applejack: "I can't go out there! Please do not make me go out there!"
Fluttershy: "Applejack come on! I'm sure people wanna see you perform!" Fluttershy reassured.
Applejack: "Yeah, Maybe! But I'm not going on that stage!" Applejack yelled.
Fluttershy: "Come on Applejack, It won't bad. Just know that we're here if you need support."
Rarity: "Yeah, Just do what I told you 3 days ago. Everything is gonna be just fine Applejack." Rarity said in a calm voice. Applejack was still breathing heavily. But i slowly died down. Once it completely died down, She sighed.
Applejack: "Okay.."
"I ain't got all day!" The host shouted, Rarity rolled her eyes.
Rarity: "Jeez. Loud mouth." Rarity said with an attitude. Applejack giggled softly.
Fluttershy: "You ready Applejack?" Fluttershy asked, Applejack didn't answer right away. She took a deep breath. She just simply nodded.
Applejack: "I'm ready." Applejack said, Rarity and Fluttershy nodded.
Rarity: "We'll walk on the stage with you." Rarity said with a smile, Applejack smiled back. All 3 girls went onto the stage. The Audience was heard by claps and cheers.
Fluttershy: "Good Luck Applejack!" Fluttershy said as she went to the back of the stage, Rarity whispered something in Applejack's ear
Rarity: "Remember what I told you 3 days ago." Rarity whispered.
"Get off the stage!" The host shouted once again, Rarity huffed.
Rarity: "Okay Okay, Jeez." Rarity walked to the back stage but before going off the stage completely, She turned back to Applejack and mouthed 'goodluck'. Applejack nodded. She looked at the audience and bit her lip. Then she glanced at Rainbow, And Rainbow glanced back at her and gave her a smile that said 'It's gonna be okay' Applejack smiled back and nodded.

Rainbow and the other two judges were very impressed. Rainbow had no idea she could sing that well. She never seen a human with such a beautiful voice, Rather she's singing or not.

The Performance was finished. Everyone clapped and cheered, It was actually a very good song. No doubt about that. Then she seen that her crush was clapping for her, Which made her blush.

The Judges were now deciding who won this competition. But little did they know, They all had different answers.
Pinkie Pie: "I like number 2! She was very hype and fun!" Pinkie said.
Twilight: "I like number 7, That was a nice song she sung. What about you Rainbow?" Twilight asked. As soon as she asked that question, Applejack came into mind. The way she sung was just...so graceful. She had to vote her.
Rainbow Dash: "Well...I liked Applejack's." Rainbow said honestly.
Pinkie Pie: "Of course you did! Well, I liked Applejack's too! It's just that the song was kinda slow."
Rainbow Dash: "There's nothing wrong with that." Rainbow reassured.
Twilight: "Well that's true. Hers wasn't bad. We might just vote her then."
Pinkie Pie: "But I wanted to vote number two!" Pinkie pouted.
Twilight: "Well Pinkie, Two against one. So we're voting her." Twilight said, Pinkie sighed.
Pinkie Pie: "Oh come on! Can we just have number 2 second place, Number 7 3rd place and Applejack as first place? Those that seem fair to you!?"
Twilight: "Well I mean...I guess?" Twilight said.
Rainbow Dash: "Hm, That'll work."
Twilight: "Alright, Well those are the 3 winners."

Twilight: "Alright guys, We will now announce the winners of this competition." Twilight started.
Rainbow Dash: "Alright...Third place goes to...Number 2!" Rainbow said with a smile, Everyone clapped and cheered; The usual.
Twilight: "And Second Place goes to....Number 7! Congratulations!" Twilight said. Now it was time to announce the First place winner. Let's see who wins..
Pinkie Pie: "And First place goes to, Drum roll please!.....NUMBER 20!" Pinkie shouted, Applejack gasped. That was quite surprising, She actually won first place? She was proud of herself but wasn't expecting to be in first place. She just smiled.
Pinkie Pie: "Well, Now you can go talk to her Dash." Pinkie said with a smirk.
Rainbow Dash: "What!? No! I- ...*sigh* ..Fine I'll try." Rainbow said.
Pinkie Pie: "Yay!" Pinkie cheered.
Rainbow Dash: "But when?" Rainbow asked.
Pinkie Pie: "Right now!"

Applejack and her friends were currently back stage chatting, Applejack's friends were talking about how amazing the performance was.
"Hey Uh, Applejack?" Someone suddenly said, Applejack turned back. She blushed, It was Rainbow Dash.
Applejack: "Oh, Hey Rainbow." She said with a smile, Rainbow smiled back.
Rainbow Dash: "Hey...I just wanted to tell you that...You did amazing out there. Like really...I wish I could sing like you. I've....I've never heard a voice that sounded...So beautiful." Rainbow said, Applejack blushed. She was shocked that Rainbow said something like that.
Applejack: "Oh...Thanks.." She said, Obviously dumbfounded at this point.
Rainbow Dash: "You're Welcome. And by the way...Do you wanna go out with me sometime?" Rainbow asked nervously. Applejack's eyes widened in shock, She couldn't stop blushing.
Applejack: "Well..Yeah." Applejack said, Rainbow laughed.
Rainbow Dash: "I can see you're pretty shocked huh?" Rainbow asked, Applejack rubbed the back of her neck and nodded.
Applejack: "Yeah...Really shocked."
Rainbow Dash: "Well, I'm shocked that a humans voice could be so beautiful." Rainbow said with a wink.
Rarity: "Rainbow, Your such a flirt." Rarity said whilst rolling her eyes and smiling.
Rainbow Dash: "Am not." Rainbow chuckled. Applejack walked up to her and gave her hug.
Applejack: "Don't worry, It doesn't bother. I'm probably gonna get use to it." Applejack said with a grin, Rainbow laughed.
