cousin: "It's pouring rain."
y/n: "Hm."
cousin: "And do you hear that thunder?"
hueningkai: "Mhm."
cousin: "Guys."
hueningkai and y/n: "What?"
cousin: "It's broad daylight outside and there is no thunder. What's going on?"
hueningkai and y/n: "Nothing."
cousin: "Hueningkai, why are you glued to your phone?"
hueningkai: "Because I can be."
cousin: "God, did everyone wake up on the wrong side of bed this morning?"
[Y/N parks car]
y/n: "Let's go or we'll be late."
cousin: "Hueningkai, we'll see you--"
[HUENINGKAI leaves]
cousin: "--later. Is he okay?"
y/n: (shrugs)
cousin: "Did I miss something?"
y/n: "I don't know. It's too early for this. I need to get to class."
cousin: "Okay. Remember, keep your chin up."
y/n: " I will."
cousin: "And whatever you... oh god."
y/n: "What?"
cousin: "Taehyun's walking over here."
y/n: "What?"
cousin: "I've got to get to class."
y/n: "Don't leave me here!"
cousin: "You're the one who kissed him, not me."
y/n: "But--"
[COUSIN leaves]
taehyun: "[y/n]."
y/n: "Hey..."
taehyun: "Hi..."
y/n: "Listen, about yesterday--"
taehyun: "I was thinking that--"
y/n: "You go--"
taehyun: "--first."
[Y/N and TAEHYUN nervously laugh]
taehyun: "You go first."
y/n: "No, you go. Really."
taehyun: "Okay... I've been thinking... and I've been really dumb."
y/n: "No, you haven't."
taehyun: "Yes, I have. I should've noticed what was going on. It's so obvious now, looking back at it."
y/n: "It is?"
taehyun: "Yes. And I'm really sorry for putting you in that position."
y/n: "It's not your fault. I should've been honest with you from the start about how I felt. I was just worried that if I told you right off the bat, you'd think I was sabotaging your chances with my cousin... which in a way, I was."
taehyun: "No, you weren't."
y/n: "Taehyun, you don't have to feel sorry for me. I know I made a huge mess of everything and I want to make it right." (sighs) "You deserve to be happy, and if that means being with my cousin then that's okay. I've made peace with it."
taehyun: "What if I don't want you to make peace with it?"
y/n: "What do you mean?"
[TAEHYUN kisses Y/N]
taehyun: "Does that answer your question?"
y/n: "Um... I mean... I..."
taehyun: "I like you, too. So think about it and let me know."
y/n: "O-okay."
taehyun: "Promise me you'll think about it."
