"my whole timeline is your spotify account." dream said as soon as belle answered facetime.
"yeah i had to stop listening cause i felt bad for the people managing the account." she giggled.
"none of your songs really match the same genre." he chuckled to himself.
"i don't know why everyone was so surprised, i've said on stream before my playlists are a mess." she shrugged.
"isn't it like 3:30 for you right now?" he asked yawning.
"yeah. it's only nine there right?" she asked back.
"mhm." he hummed, "but i'm still tired." he said leaning back into his seat.
"go to sleep then." she spoke softly.
"if either of us need sleep, it's you." he laughed.
"i slept late i'm fine." she smiled, "but you look tired."
"i wanna talk to you though." he mumbled.
"you can talk to me in the morning, go to sleep." she said genuinely, a rare tone for her to talk to him with.
"but it's still early." he complained.
"clay." she crossed her arms.
"fine." he huffed, "stay on call?"
"of course." she nodded.
she watched as dream switched off his lights and climbed into bed, the only light illuminating his face was from his phone.
he mumbled goodnight before closing his eyes and not even minutes later belle could hear his soft snores echo through her phone.
she decided she should probably also go to sleep so she got into bed and placed her phone against her pillow so her camera faced her.
sleep calls had become very common over the past few weeks since leaving florida. the two spent their nights more often than not on facetime. they enjoyed the company.
she smiled to herself while looking at his face, not being able to wait for the next time they got to see each other. she wanted to tell him how she felt.
