Just in case you were wondering yes! Grant is still very happy! It's a day later and Natalie is back on shift. It's grants turn to make breakfast so they all walk in to discover him wearing an apron saying "Kiss the chef!"
"Oh god" Natalie whispers under her breath
"Be nice!" Casey says hitting her arm
"Good morning! And how are my spring chickens this morning?" Grant asks enthusiastically
"Spring what now?" Mouch says before Maya kicks his leg
"We're great! Sure we are mouch?" Natalie says giving Mouch a death look
"Yeah" Mouch says in pain
"Breakfast is served!" Grant says putting the plates down one by one in front of them
"What is it?" Herrmann asks confused
"It's Kombucha! And avocado on toast!" Grant says taking a bite of his food
"Kam what now?" Mouch asks turning up his nose at the food
"Let's try it shall we?" Natalie says picking up her avocado on toast
They all take a bite and instantly hate it
"Well is it glorious?" Grant asks enthusiastically
"Yeah!" Natalie says forcing herself to swallow
"Oh! Umm! Casey! Lewis! We have to do that...thing for Boden?" Kelly says
"Oh yeah that...thing!" Casey says going along with it
"Yeah that very important thing!" Natalie says as they all walk out
"Lucky Jerks!" Mouch says under his breath
"Come on guys! Eat up! Us growing boys need our strength!" Grant says before walking out
"I'm sorry growing boys?" Mouch says as he puts his toast in the bin
"At least someone thinks we're still young!" Herrmann says as he laughs
"We need Stella back!" Mouch says as he walks away
It's a few hours later and Mouch has come back into the common room to spot Grant in his spot
"Umm! Hey bud!" Much says
"What is up oldie!" Grant says looking up from his crossword
"That's kinda my spot?" Mouch says
"I'm sorry but it doesn't have your name on it! And where I come from sharing Is caring!" Grant says enthusiastically
"Right!" Mouch says as he sits next to Herrmann at the table
Natalie then comes in with a crossword
"Hey Holland!" Natalie says
"Yes Luitenent?" Grant replies
"I got you a little something!" Natalie says showing him the crossword
"Wow! Thais is lovely thank you!" Grant says taking the book
"Oh it's no" Natalie says before Grant interrupts her
"But I don't have a thing for you! I mean yeas your attractive but I have a girlfriend! Who I love dearly!" Grant says as 51 burst out laughing
"I'm sorry to embarrass you in front of your firehouse!" Grant says before he walks away
"Natalie Holland! Has a nice ring to it!" Mouch says as Natalie shoots him a look before walking away
