The next morning, Shravan woke up with a smile, finding his wife all over him
Wife!! Sounds nice.
Her head was on his shoulder, her hands across his torso and her legs tangled with his.
Her hair was all over her face.
Shravan gently moved the hair strands from her face and tucked them behind her ears.
The slight movement disturbed her lightly and she snuggled more into him
He caressed her cheeks with his thumbs and pressed a kiss on her forhead
"Good morning Drishti" he murmered against her skin and lied there with her in his arms for a while.
The feel of her soft warmth against his body felt too good to move away.
Shravan almost fell asleep again, when his phone pinged with the reminder he had set for the share holder's meeting scheduled for the morning.
Damn!! How did he forget something so important ??
He cursed softly and got up from the bed without disturbing her.

He hurried to the office and found Mithran and Isha were already there.
Mithran raised an eyebrow and made an exaggerated show of looking at his wrist watch
"Shravan Maheswari is late to office? Is the world going to end?" Mithran asked teasingly
"Shut up. Are the shareholders here yet?"
"No. Don't worry. You are not the last for the meeting" Mithran said
Shravan and Mithran owns thirty five percent share each in the SM groups. The remaining thirty percent is owned by different investors in the field
"Good. We still have five minutes I guess" Shravan said
"Why were you late, I wonder" Mithran asked with a teasing smirk
"I woke up late" Shravan said truthfully
"Why? You were awake whole night?" Mithran egged on earning a jab in his ribs from Isha.
"Get lost" Shravan muttered throwing a stink eye in his best friend's direction and walked into the conference room and he could still hear Mithran's laugh from outside the door.

Drishti woke up to an empty apartment as usual.
She felt disappointed. After what happened last night, she had expected him to atleast leave a note for her.
Drishti sighed as she got ready for the college.
The day passed by in a blur, Drishti mostly falling asleep during the classes.
She met Siddhu at the college cafeteria before going home
"Hey darpok" Drishti greeted as she sat next to Siddhu who made a face at the nick name.
"So?" Siddhu asked
"What?" Drishti asked with a frown
"How was the date?"
Drishti grinned
"Fantabulous"
"That's not even a word"
"Who cares" Drishti shrugged
"So you guys decided to give it a go?" Siddhu asked
"Yup"
"Poor Shravan bhai" Siddhu murmered sympathetically earning a scowl from his bestfriend
"By the way you didn't tell me about this Vaiga character. Did you meet her? You liked her?" Drishti asked all excited to play match maker for her best friend.
Siddhu rolled his eyes.
"Yes, I met her. She is very pretty actually. But I didn't get that vibe D. I got more of a bestiee cum sis vibe. Like you" Siddhu said
"Why man??" Drishti asked in disappointment
"Maybe because she is so like us. So fun loving and jolly type. She is die hard thalapathy fan. While having serious conversations, she sometimes answers through songs or movie dialogues. We had a nice time with her at home" Siddhu said
"Aww. She sounds perfect for us. But you went ahead and ruined it by friendzoning her" Drishti said
Siddhu shrugged.
"Wanna go for a movie?" Siddhu asked
"Uh no. I'm going for shopping with Shravan. We are going for a trip during the weekend" Drishti said excited for both the shopping and the trip.
"Ouch. You are ditching me now that you got a husband. That hurts D. That hurts" Siddhu said dramatically clutching his heart
"Who needs you anymore. You can go to hell for all I care" Drishti said flicking her hair in attitude
"Why am I even surprised" Siddhu said rolling his eyes.
"Aww my darling. I will always love you" Drishti said hugging Siddhu.
"And here we thought you are simply bestfriends. Isn't that what they tell everyone here?" Came a bitchy voice and they looked up to see Tanya Reddy, Drishti's college rival with her two minions.
"Siddhu. What do you do when a dog bark at you?" Drishti asked Siddhu, ignoring Tanya
Siddhu smirked
"What should I do?" Siddhu played along
"You don't bark at them back. You simply ignore it. Just like I'm doing now" Drishti said
Tanya fumed at the humiliation.
"Don't think you are too smart. And be careful. You don't know when your downfall will be" Tanya threw an empty threat and walked away leaving the friends to roll their eyes.
"Okay. I'm going to go. I have so much shopping to do" Drishti said and bid a quick goodbye to Siddhu and drove to the penthouse.
She had a quick shower and got ready
She decided against waiting for her husband at home.
Why should she wait for him at home when she can go to him directly.

"Mr Rao wants to sell his shares. He is planning for a retirement and wants selling everything he has" Mithran passed on the information to Isha, who not being a share holder wasn't present during the meeting.
"So? Are you going to buy them. Or wait for another investor?" Isha asked
"Mr Reddy hinted at wanting to byt the shares. But I guess we can buy them. We are settled enough now to move on without a new investor." Shravan said
"That's right. Get the legal team to prepare the papers for the transfer Isha" Mithran said
The door to Shravan's cabin opened and in walked Drishti and the receptionist hurrying behind her.
"I'm so sorry Mr Maheswari. I tried to stop her" the receptionist apologized
Could anything ever stop her, Shravan wondered
"Hubby jaan" Drishti called out loudly and walked towards Shravan. She bent down to give him a hug and a kiss on his cheeks.
"Missed me?" She asked cheekily
Shravan could feel heat creeping up his cheeks at the very public display of affection
He looked up too see Isha and Mithran trying to stifle their laughter and his receptionist gaping at him
"Anjali. Meet my wife, Drishti. Drishti this is our receptionist Anjali" Shravan made the introductions as he stood up from his chair.
