It's been 4 hours since I had seen Easton last. I decided 2 hours ago to go up to my room and watch a movie. The house had an eerie quietness to it which creeped me out. I changed into some long plaid flannel pajama pants along with a blue tank top. I snuggle into my pillow as the credits start to roll, I hear a light knock at my door which startles me.
I slowly walk towards the door and open it, Easton stood in front of me smirking, "well hello to you too," I say walking back towards my bed. He grabs my wrist and spins me around pulling me against his chest. I groan and look up at him, my body feels tired and him making me stand is pure torture. I hear him chuckle and he lets go of me, I slowly make my way back to my bed and he stands by the door.
I sigh and pat the other side with my hand, "if you're gonna just stand there you might as well come lay down." I watch as he makes his way over and lays down beside me.
I turn on my side and face him, "you were gone forever, the house felt creepy without anyone present."
He places his hand on the side of my head and softly strokes as he whispers, "Did you miss me?"
I can feel my cheeks heat up and I bite my lip softly and nod my head. He takes his thumb and slowly runs it across my lip before stating, "you need to stop doing that Lyla, it drives me crazy. It makes your lips look irresistible."
I felt courage run through out my veins, "make me."
I watch as a glimpse of lust runs across his eyes, he moves his head down and whispers, "Don't play with me Lyla, because I'll make sure you have a hard time walking tomorrow. Now, don't think I've forgotten about what happened earlier either cara." (dear)
I turn away from him and he pulls my back into his chest, "Exactly. Megan has a bunch of dresses for you to try on for the reception my father is holding tomorrow, she'll be here at 11. We leave at 4." I feel his lips leave a kiss on my ear before my eyes slowly close.
I am woken up by a squealing Megan jumping on my bed and no sign of East. I slowly roll over and pull the covers over my face, "Megan it's only 7:30 in the morning Easton said you would be here at 9, now leave me alone."
I feel her slowly peel the sheets away from me, "I want to know the details, I wanna know everything Lyla, so get your sorry ass out of bed and tell me."
I laugh and sit up. For the next three and a half hours I fill Megan in on how Easton had saved me from getting beat up and potentially getting raped by drunk guys. To how he saved me from Trevor. I saw the concern in her face when I told her what Trevor had been doing to me since my Aunt Corra had passed away, I could tell she felt bad for not knowing.
"So what about Easton, you seem really comfortable around him? You guys act like you've known eachother for years." She asks and pokes me in the ribs.
"Easton makes me feel alive. He makes me feel like I am worth something in this world. He bring a sense of safety when I'm around him. I like him Megan. His touch makes my skin burn. And he acts like he cares about me but I don't know if he does. I just know that he makes my heart and soul happy again. I haven't felt this much joy in a long time, I want to hold onto this feeling forever" I say while playing with my hand, I look up at her and she smiles at me, pulling me into a hug.
"Well I'm happy that you're happy and that you're safe. But I want you to be careful Ly, I've seen him go through girls like you wouldn't believe. No one changes that quickly. Now hurry up we have some dresses to try on." She yells while jumping off the bed and leaving the room. She comes back in seconds later with a rack of beautiful dresses.
The first few I try on both Megan and I decide that they don't look any good. We take a break and Megan helps me with my hair, she decided that the best would be half up half down and curled. Once she finishes she does my makeup. I stand up and look in the mirror when she's finished, and she has absolutely out done herself. Everything she did with my hair is absolutely perfect, and the simple mascara along with blush and concealer made it look so natural.
I turn around and hug her tightly and thank her. "Come on we need to find the perfect dress for you Ly." She takes my hand and leads me back into my bedroom, I look at the rack and I spot the most beautiful red colour, I pick it up and turn to Megan, she nods her head. Before I am able to put it on she comes in with a red strapless bra and a matching red thong, she winks at me before leaving and I chuckle to myself.
I change in the closet and then slowly put the dress on, I look into the mirror before coming out. The dress is absolutely beautiful, there is a slight going down my left leg, with a long V-neck shape ending right above the bra. The dress fit perfectly.
I walk out of the closet and Megan look at me in awe, "I think we found the one Lyla, you look absolutely beautiful darling." I smile and spin around feeling like a princess.
Megan helps me put on some black heels. She smiles and looks at me, "wait it's not just perfect yet." I watch as she runs into the bathroom and comes back out with some lipstick, dark red. She carefully puts it on my lips before holding both my hands and whispering, "Easton wont be able to take his eyes off you."
