Chae Byeol
With Seojun's jacket in my hand, I tried to find him the next day. The exam was today so I had to hurry.
"Where are you?"
I asked no one. I gave up and just headed to class. I knew I would see him there.
I walked up a ramp and saw Seojun there. With Jugyeong.
Finally.
I rushed towards them when I saw Seojun walk ahead faster. I passed Jugyeong with a smile and caught Seojun by his satchel.
"You're impossible to find."
He turned and smiled.
"Oh, thank you. I completely forgot."
He grabbed it and I tsk'd at his forgetfulness. We continued our walk to class.
"What is your favorite number from 1-5?"
He asked randomly. I was confused but thought about it.
"5, I guess. Why?"
He smirked.
"Nothing, good luck on the exam by the way."
"Thanks, hopefully I don't ruin my whole life with this exam."
He patted my shoulder.
"You'll be fine, plus all you really need is your feet for your career."
I rolled my eyes. We went towards our seats when we arrived to class. It was a mess.
There were people writing on windows and sharing work together.
I sat down and proceeded to mental prepare myself.
"Good luck."
I was startled at the voice. I looked and saw Sooho next to my desk. He put my favorite snack on my desk, a kit-kat.
"Oooo, you remembered after all this time."
I smiled, it was tradition for him to give me something before a big exam. We did it ever since we knew each other.
"Of course, by the way is everything okay with-"
He stopped himself and pointed to his heart. I nodded so I didn't worry him.
"Doctor says I am okay."
He nodded and walked back to his desk. I sighed and started to pull out some notes I had so I could review. I placed the kit-kat in my bag.

I sat happily on a bench in the school, eating my snack.
The exam was stressful but I gave up at a point and went on instinct.
"Byeol!!"
I heard a distressed Taehoon yell. I saw him and Sooho come my way.
"What now?"
I sighed.
"Have you seen Soo-ah and Jugyeong?"
I bit my lip.
The baseball game. I can't tell him.
"No, I just have been sitting here."
He gave me and eye and got up close to me.
"You know something."
I backed away defensively.
"I don't! Why don't you ask her where she is?!"
Sooho pulled Taehoon back.
"Let's just go."
Sooho dragged him away, even then he was still glaring at me.
I gulped, thankfully I am a great lair.
I broke off another stick of my chocolate. I was about to eat it when it was snatched from me.
I looked at the culprit, to see non other than Seojun.
"Hey! That was mine."
He shoved the stick into his mouth.
"Oops my bad."
He faked apologized.
"Jerk. I worked hard for that chocolate."
"So did I."
"You probably guessed 5 on all of them and then slept."
He didn't reply.
"You're too predictable."
"Just scooch over."
I moved over so he had room to sit down.
I expected him to say something but he just sat there on his phone.
I was about to start a conversation when someone appeared in front of me. I looked at the bench....
Seyeon.
"Sorry to just pop in but I just have to see this."
He smiled, giving me a look.
"Shut up."
I muttered but I didn't realize I said it a loud. Seojun looked at me.
"What?"
He looked confused.
"Oh, nothing. Sorry, anyways what are you doing here? I thought you were going to go home."
"I was but I like the wind. It clears my head."
He looked at the sky, closing his eyes.
"Your mind has been busy?"
"Yup."
He sat up and turned his body to me.
"Have you ever had a crush on someone that you felt like you shouldn't have one? Like that the world will collapse because of your feelings."
You have no idea.
"I know, somewhat. Why?"
He opened his mouth but closed it.
"My friend is going through something similar."
Liar.
"Well, tell your friend they shouldn't stress about it."
He sighed.
"Does he like someone?"
Seyeon spoke, I jumped up. I forgot he was still here.
Seojun looked at me.
"Are you okay?"
He grabbed on to me.
"Yea, just got the chills."
I laughed it off. He nodded and got up.
"Well I am going to go home, you need a ride?"
I shook my head. I didn't want to go home yet.
"Okay, get home safely okay?"
He patted my head and walked off. Seyeon took Seojun's spot.
"It's Jugyeong."
He said. I turned to him and glared. I looked around, making sure no one was around.
"What? You know it's true."
I sighed. I couldn't deny that.
"Well, that's fine. Jugyeong is nice, I would fall for her too."
"You like him though."
"No, I-"
"I see everything, I feel everything you feel. You can't lie to me. You always have a warm feeling whenever you are with him."
He put a hand on my leg but it just passed through.
"I don't need this."
I got up and walked away from him. He still continued walking after me.
"Byeol, you can't fight it. You get all nervous with him, you blush and-"
I cut him off.
"Okay so what?! It's not like he has feelings for me. Like you said, it's Jugyeong. So what's the point in me admitting it when it will just hurt me even more!"
I yelled and got stares from some students on campus that heard me. I looked at Seyeon, I felt tears start to rise.
He just looked back, with pity in his eyes.
"Byeol, I didn't mean it like that. I just don't want your feeling to-"
I didn't let him finish, I walked away towards the school gate.
He's so contradictory, he tells me Seojun like Jugyeong. Then says that I should accept my feelings for him?! I don't even like him that much, it's a small crush!
Plus, my feelings will ruin everything. They always do.
