Chae Byeol

It was after school and I was walking out of the classroom when Jugyeong ran up to me.

"I need your help....again"

I laughed at the memory of what happened last time I helped her.

"What is it this time?"

"I need help with my date. I was going to ask Soojin or Soo-ah but they left."

I thought, I needed to head to the doctors right now.

"Right now? I have to do something real quick "

"Oh that's fine! We can meet up in an hour or two if that's fine."

"Yea that's cool!"

She smiled and looked at her phone.

"Oh I need to catch the bus! I'll text you the address."

She yelled as she ran off. I appreciate that Jugyeong sees me someone who can help her.

Chae Byeol

"What does it look like?"

"I am not sure, I assumed it was a house."

My brother drove me over to Jugyeong's address after my check up. I only saw a salon for eyebrows.

"Maybe her mom owns the shop?"

My brother suggested. I shrugged getting out of the car.

"Thanks!"

"Hmm, message me when you're ready to go."

I nodded and waved to him as he drove off. I went to open the door. I entered and saw a lot happening.

First I saw Jugyeong on the floor with stuff on her face then I saw Seojun and his mother.

Jugyeong saw me but before I could help her Seojun's mother came up to me.

"Byeol-ah, is that really you?"

I realized I haven't seen her in forever.  I smiled and brought her into a hug.

"I feel like it has been ages, how have you been?"

She asked.

"I've been okay, how about you? I heard you were ill."

"Oh I am fine now, but what are you doing here?"

"Oh I came because my friend asked me."

"Ah, Jugyeong? Her mother owns this shop."

I nodded, finally understanding why she gave me this address. I turned to her mother and bowed.

"Hi, I am Jugyeong's friend."

Jugyeong's mother smiled.
