Love at First Sight

Chapter 10- Car Wreck!

Natalie sits up and has a gash in her head.
"Kelly?" Natalie asks
"I'm good! How are you?" Kelly says getting up
"I'm fine just a bump on the head" Natalie says as they hear someone calling out
They notice that it's the man who broke down. They run over to him and notice is arm is cut badly with the bone showing.
"Okay Kelly! Here!" Natalie says handing him her jacket
"What do you want me to do with this!" Kelly asks
"Put it over the mans arm and keep pressure on it!" Natalie says showing Kelly how to do it
Natalie runs over to the bus and climbs on top of it. She smashes the door to find the driver awake and talking
"What's you name sir?" Natalie asks
"I'm umm coach Higgins! I'm the coach for the basketball team! We were on our way back from a game!" Coach Huggins says panicked
"Hey it's gonna be okay! My name is Natalie! I'm a Luitenent for the Chicago fire department! I'll help you get out!" Natalie says getting in the bus
"Okay! If you can walk make your way up and out of the bus!" Harper shouts helping the boys out of the bus
Harper is left with 1 victim who has a laceration to his left leg
"Okay it's not bleeding too much! I'll help you out" Natalie says helping the boy out along with the coach
They lie him on the grass whilst Kelly is still looking after the man who broke down.
"Okay how are you boys? You feeling okay?" Natalie says looking at the boys
"Yeah! We're good" The team captain calls out
"Wait! Where's Alex?" A boy says
"Who's Alex?" Natalie asks
"Our teammate he was in the bus!" The boy says
"Okay I'll have a look! Kelly your with me!" Natalie shouts as she climbs onto the bus with Kelly
They go in and start to search for Alex. They find him at the back of the bus awake and alert. They help him out
"Okay! Chicago is 6 miles away! I need to figure out how to get there!" Natalie says
"We will go! I'll run along with Tony!" The coach says
"You got it coach!" Tony says as they start running
Natalie is treating the man who broke down when she notices Alex looking a little off
"You okay there Alex?" Natalie asks
"Yeah bud! You look a little pale?" Kelly says
Alex then drops to the ground and Kelly and Natalie rush over. Natalie checks his pulse
"He's not breathing!" Natalie shouts
Kelly starts CPR
"Does anyone have an epi pen?" Natalie asks
" I do!" A boy calls out
"It's in my pocket!" He says handing it to Natalie
"What are you gonna do?" Kelly asks
"Restart his heart" Natalie says slowly injecting the pen into Alex's wrist
He then jerks awake!
"Thank god!" Natalie says as she gets a sharp pain in her head and then her vision goes blurry
