"SHIGARAKI YOU NEED TO GET HIM OUT OF THERE!" cried Dr. Daruma as he tried reconnecting to different signals but to no use. The lights around them flickered a few times before completely burning out.
'shit' muttered Shigaraki turning to the now darkened hallway. Other voices could be heard from another room.
"HEY WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LIGHTS?" cried Toga from the bar. She was trying to read her ichi ichi makeout paradise volume three book in peace but she just had to be disrupted. Was Izuku in trouble?
"GET SUITED UP, WE ARE STARTING THE PLAN!" ordered Shigaraki, nervously scratching at his neck.
"I'm still trying to reconnect! Maybe we can use a power converter or something!"
"Just give it up. There is no use in reconnecting if he already knows our plan." grunted Shigaraki, before slamming his hand into the door causing it to evaporate into dust. His plans were spinning out of control.
"Master Shigaraki! Please, I know your upset but please try to get ahold of yourself before you accidentally destroy the whole hideout!" Kurogiri was still trying to be rational even though the others were panicking.
"Kurogiri, make a portal to the Shie Hassakai base so that we can beat them six feet under.."
Everything was going wrong. Shigaraki aggressively scratched his neck.
Meanwhile, Izuku was waking from unconsciousness. There wasn't much light in the containment room, only fours walls of one-sided glass and a crumpled girl in the middle of the floor.
Hey that's the girl who tried to escape the other day....but where is the secret ingredient?
Izuku's eyes landed on the tattered bandages that were coiled around her limbs. Don't tell me...
He noticed the plague mask sitting in the corner of the room. His vision was still a bit foggy, but that wasn't important.
"Hey, wake up."
The girl perked her head up. Her eyes were big and scared, like if she was scared of being hurt.
"I'm getting us out of here, promise."
There was a loud siren-like noise that had to be alerts that were turned on by Chisaki. Izuku could probably easily slip out of here, though he would have to carefully analyze each outcome of each plan.
Eri seemed very important to Chisaki because he wouldn't let her escape, and that must mean the drugs mean a lot. And of course the Nomu...the Nomu seem stronger now that they have partial minds of their own, though that means they have less actual attack power.
Izuku was getting a brain cramp. Right now he should focus his attention on busting out.
"Eri, what is your quirk?"
The girl seemed to hesitate sharing.
"I-It's a cursed one. I wish I didn't have it. It's no good for anything but evil."
"So is Chisaki hurting you?"
Eri looked guilty as all color drained from her face.
Izuku gave Eri a confident smile and bent down on one knee to look at her directly in the eyes.
"I'll save you, I promise." He felt his old self rise to the surface for a moment.
"But he has both of us, it's no use.." whimpered Eri with watery eyes. It was true that this wouldn't be easy, but Izuku always managed to push through in every situation. Otherwise he would be dead by now.
"I have a pretty confusing quirk.. I'm still trying to figure out what it is myself..."
"A-Are you a hero?"
Izuku's stomach fizzed. What should I tell her? That I'm a villain just like Overhaul? That wouldn't get us anywhere...
"Well more or less." lied Izuku. "Does your quirk have something to do with erasing quirks?"
"I can rewind living things. I can't control it though, so I have to wear quirk restraining cuffs."
Eri lifted up her hair to show her horn which had electrodes with wires leading to outside the containment room.
"Use your quirk." ordered Izuku sternly.
"But my quirk is--I might kill you!" cried Eri.
Izuku hoped that he knew what he was doing.
"Your quirk isn't a curse, it's perfect for helping people. Do you think you can rewind this?" Izuku stuck out his wrist which had a scar he had been unable to get rid of for the last few months.
"I-I don't know s-sir..I can try."
"Call me Izuku. Wait no, call me Deku." Izuku stuck out his wrist without any fear, hoping he wouldn't be rewound into nothingness.
Eri shakily nodded her head and her horn started buzzing with electricity, which quickly spread to her fingertips and to Izuku's wrist. The scar faded away fairly quickly. But the electricity was starting to go out of control.
"NOW SPREAD OUT!"
Just as he was hoping, the alarm on the containment room went off. Eri was on the ground struggling.
"IM SORRY! MY QUIRK IS A CURSE! I SHOULD BE DEAD!" Eri was panicking as her now all-white-eyes sparked with the energy, causing her tears to float upward.
"DON'T WORRY ERI I HAVE A PLAN!"
Eri gasped at the sight of Yakuza through the window. She continued to struggle through screams and cries.
"THEY'RE COMING!" She gasped. Izuku grabbed her by the waist, feeling multiple scars disappear around his arms. He managed to calm down her quirk.
Izuku activated his quirk, green fire. The fire could melt anything but if he touched it, it would burn him, but not a lot.
"And now that we have their attention.." started Izuku before blasting fire at the door. He made sure to pick up the mask, and Eri.
"GET BACK IN THE ROOM KIDS! OR CHISAKI WILL SLAUGHTER BOTH OF US!" shouted a oncoming guard.
"No thanks." mumbled Izuku before breaking off a metal pole off the wall and swinging it full power at the back of the guard's head, knocking him out cold. He had to stay alert or else they would probably face death from Chisaki's quirk.
Two more Yakuza came out and one activated his quirk, which made steel plates rise around them in oddly irregular patterns that made it hard for Izuku to predict.
"Too easy." sneered the greenette with a smug smirk on his face.
Izuku immediately clung to a steel plate and climbed up to get a better shot at the Yakuza's head.
"I'm a ex-UA student, I know some stuff."
Izuku leaped off a plate with Eri on his back and landed a direct kick to the Yakuza with the steel-plate quirk, causing his nose to break upon impact, getting blood all over Izuku's pants.
"Eri cover your eyes." warned Izuku before slamming the pole jackhammer style into the guard's chest. Izuku turned to the other and lifted up the pole, now dripping with blood, and used it to propel himself over the steel plates.
"HEY GET BACK HERE!"
Izuku head the other guard following behind him as he ran through the hallways which were filling up with other Yakuza.
"Shit. Where the hell is Todoroki?"
Do the others have any idea what is happening?
Just then, there was a growling sound from in front of Izuku.
"Hello Hiroto." muttered Izuku with a grim expression. Or as you used to be, #31..
The Nomu gurgled in response and swiped at Izuku's head. He was clearly able to see better and think better.
"GET HIM!" ordered a voice from far behind Izuku.
The monster growled and gurgled and proceeded to open his mouth in a menacing toothy grin.
"Hmm.." muttered Izuku to himself. He turned his head behind him to see the guards waiting for his next move.
"Well then. I see how it is. You are all cowards." chuckled Izuku. "Guess I will go first." Izuku whipped out his weapon, though the blood was now dry.
CRASH!
"Wait wait wait. You mean to tell me that your random location was another damn villain attack?" chuckled a monotone voice.
Izuku turned around to see his villain partner surrounded in sharp spikes of ice.
"Need help?" asked Todoroki with a sadistic grin, similar to the USJ Attack.
"Take Eri!" Izuku dropped the girl on the floor before dashing into action.
Todoroki could only watch as his comrade fought through rows of Yakuza.
"Wow.."
He turned his attention to Eri, who looked scared out of her mind. He was only disturbed by someone grabbing his shoulder and slamming him into the metal wall.
"NO! DON'T HURT THEM! I DON'T WANT THIS!" cried the girl. Todoroki reached out his arm and froze a line of people, which accidentally blocked the exit for Izuku.
"Apologies." Todoroki exhaled an icy breath before grabbing Eri and throwing her onto his back and running out.
"TODOROKI IS IZUKU OK!?" cried Toga. She looked out of breath and was panting. "I saw you two head in at different times. Has he fought Overhaul?"
"He is in there battling the Yakuza. Should we help or wait?"
Shigaraki slipped off his hood. "Wait. After Izuku clears the path, we can raid. There is still some hope for the plan."
"What about Chisaki? Isn't he like super strong?" cried Twice. "He's a twig with an colorblind fashion sense!"
"We can trust Izuku. I have faith." smiled Shigaraki, unaware that they were being watched.
