it has been brought to my attention that giving asta 6 different magic abilities wasn't the best idea , so it's time to nerf / balance him out a bit
fire magic - using too much of it will overheat his body and well run out of stamina if he uses fire magic while at his limit of overheating, note that it will aslo cause physical harm
ice magic - using too much will give asta frostbite and cause him to get slower & began to lose stamina , think of his fire and ice abilities like todorokis from mha, where he has to either balance them out or not use too much
lightning magic - i think his lighting magic is fine as it is right now
spatial magic - now this is a big one, i'm only gonna let asta use this magic to the extent of a two millie radius , so he can't go from the heart kingdom to the clover kingdom in an instant , he'll have to fly there
i'll aslo note that the longer distances he uses them the more mana it will drain
i'm not going to have the rule of "i've been there, i can go there" thing like finral
now that's out of the way let's continue
nacht opens the door to the black bull base after another mission in the spade kingdom to find everyone minding their own buissness, he walks to asta room and knocks
"COME IN" nacht walks into the room to see asta at his desk writing a letter and sending money to hage village
"hey boy, i heard you got a new form" nacht says with a smile
"yeah i call it devil union!, well my devil named it that but it's an amazing ability, and since you're here i wanted to see if you can help me train it." asta asks nacht as he agrees and takes him outside
"okay asta, show me your form again" nacht says as asta begans to let the mana take over him
he pushes himself easily into his half demon form, then it takes more to go into his bezerk form and he finally hands into his devil union form
"this- this is hard to maintain" asta struggles to say
"don't worry, just relax and let the mana flow through your body"
asta settle down and he begans to breathe steadily and looks up at nacht
"come at me" he says whike going into his own devil union
devil union - canis
nacht is surrounded by a black cape and he gets sharp flows while growing out his horns
"okay here i come!" asta says rushing nacht with a huge hit to his body as he fly's back and lands , nacht returns with his own slash and cuts some of astas mana off of him but it quickly returns
"amazing! this is the power of devil union" asta says as he feels faster, stronger and smoother in this form , but he can feel his mana not being able to keep up
fire magic - flame emperor
asta creates a ball of fire with the tip of his index finger and throws it at nacht , nacht has to counter with his own attack
SHADOW MAGIC - THE BLADE OF SATAN
he creates a blade that slashed the fireball in half as asta instantly goes in and kicks nacht down into the ground with a thud
"this power is insane, i was able to create that like nothing, bu-" asta says as the mana around him disappears and he falls to the ground as nacht reacts fast and catches him
"devil union is extremely powerful, it draws out the most of your devils power but it's hard on the body" he tells asta as he begans to give him some water to drink
"has anyone seen asta?" noelle comes out as everyone's points outside to the destroyed land and knows it asta again
"asta are you okay??" she says as she runs to his side and instantly hits him for getting hurt again as nacht laughs in the back
"asta be careful with that form, makes sure to use it as a last resort, you can get about 3 minutes at most out of it" nacht says as he takes his leave
noelle helps go into his room as asta begans his self repair and she tends to him
"you're always getting hurt bakasta, be carful , for me at least" she says cleaning blood off of his arms
"i need to get stronger, i must protect this kingdom , and you" he says whike noelle smiles at those words
"noelle, i love you." he says as noelle looks at him in the eyes and smiles warmly
"i love you too."
later on at night , nero is on the move once again, she's flying towards the golden dawn base as she wants to get that stone yuno had
while on her way rhere" she senses a huge amount of mana, she stops and lands on a tree
LIGHT MAGIC - CAGE
nero is trapped in a cage as licht and rhya come out of the shadows
"you're using transformation magic, come out now before i destory you" licht says irritated
nero sees who it is and is shocked, but she transforms hoping they recognize her
"secre?" they both say shocked at who it is
"licht and rhya?" she says as he lets her out of the cage and she gets up
"why are you a bird?" they say as she says it was just some simple transformation magic, not wanting to bring up the past to licht, but she notices something off about licht
"wait, you're not licht are you? she says as the man looks shocked then smiles
"i may or may not be, but it doesn't matter, i know you have the stones in your pocket , give them" he says flatly as nero backs up and ready to escape
SEALING MAG-
she's cut off by a chop to the neck and is searched for her stones and they find 3 of them, one from a village in the forsaken realm, one from the dungeon and one of unknown origin
"the day of reckoning is almost upon us" "licht" says to rhya as they leave nero there and go back to their base
nero wakes up at the black bulls base confused , she sees yami and asta walk in and ask if she's okay, asta recognized her from the incident in the dungeon
"this is not good, he took the stones" nero says in a panic as asta grabs her and shakes her
"WHATS GOING ON, WHERE ARE THEY" he yells
"i know where their base it at, at this point they only need one stone, the one that boy has" referring to yuno
"where is the base? yami says
"it's in a heavily mana guarded zone on the edge of the clover kingdom, they want to use the stones for some reason although i'm not sure why" nero says before laying down
"then why did you collect them? asta asked nero as she answers
"my own reason, nothing bad" she says with a smile as she falls back asleep
"now what?" asta asks yami as he smiles and says
"time to bring the fight to them."
