"Please go next door. Also, put a damn sweater on. You're going to freeze your balls off."
San trotted over with his leash in his mouth, his tongue hanging out with happy pants and his tail wagging excitedly.
"Who is this?"
"Sancus. He's my son." I said kneeling down to clip it to his collar.
The snow was all melted by now so he doesn't need his booties.
"Why are you clipping his leash to his collar?"
"So we can go on a walk without people screaming at us."
"Is the cat going too?"
"Yes, Mew likes going on walks with us when it's not to cold."
"I'll go with you." He said.
"No, go next door."
"I'm going with you."
"Me too." Gun announced making me jump in surprise.
"Huh?!"
"If that wanna be assassin is going with you, so am I." Goo glared at Marco.
"Don't you two have to go somewhere?"
"What?" The G boys asked.
"Crystal said you had to talk to one of the Chairman's friends. Go do that."
"No way in hell I'm leaving you alone with this nut job!" Goo snapped and pulled me away.
I jumped up and kicked Marco in the chest as he lunged at my brother.
"Stop it already, all of you. No one here is a threat, understand? Goo, let me go, you're hurting my arm."
Goo loosened his grip but glared at my assistant.
"I don't want anyone attacking anyone here, alright? Cut it out."
"I'm not calming down till he leaves." Goo still didn't take his eyes off of him.
"YN, give me permission to kill this joke of a human."
"Excuse me?!"
"Hey! Don't insult Goo, you understand?"
"My apologies." He bowed.
"Marco, go next door, I'm taking the babies on a walk."
"It's dangerous to go alone, I'll accompany you."
"No." I sighed.
"Absolutely not!" Goo and Gun shouted.
"You are all so extra, give me some privacy, will you?"
I didn't get privacy.
Gun and Goo stood at either side of me and Marco walked about a yard behind us.
(Yard= 3 feet or a little less than a meter.)
In one hand, I held the leash and in my other hand I held Goo's hand.
Marco refused to stop speaking Latin so that Gun and Goo couldn't understand him. The only time he'd speak Korean or Japanese was when insulting them or speaking to Mew and San.
Sancus sniffed around and Mew trotted about happily sniffing some grass and searching for some bugs to mess with and eat.
"Come along feline, don't dilly dally about and fall behind."
"Her name is Mew. And she follows us just fine." Gun glared.
"I will not permit someone so special to YN be lost."
"She won't get lost Marco, but thank you for worrying." I sighed.
"I'm simply taking precautions."
"Marco, do you want to do me a favor?"
"Anything."
"Go to Cindy's house. The others are all there. Sebastian and Cody could really use your help controlling Jordan, Kurtis and Cindy."
"They will be fine, my priority is keeping you safe."
"I'm perfectly safe."
"These two are gangsters with long records."
"I'm aware, Marco, please go give Seb and Cody a hand with the others."
"Where is Julie?"
"Last time I checked, on the other side of Japan."
"Are you sure you don't want me to stay?"
"Positive. If I need you, I'll give you a call."
"Understood. Enjoy your walk." He bowed and left.
"He's leaving?"
"Yup. Sorry about him, he's a little cold to people he doesn't know, but he means well."
"He held a knife at my throat." Gun reminded me.
My stomach crunched into itself with guilt.
"Yeah, I'm sorry. He won't do it again."
"How do you know him?" Goo asked.
"I helped and took care of him in middle school." I shrugged.
"He seems a bit possessive." Gun frowned back at the man in the distance.
"Just protective."
"I have a question." Goo frowned.
"Hm?"
"How do you know Jordan?"
"What do you mean?"
"You two seem really close."
"We just know each other, nothing special."
"But you two seem close... really close. You two go to the bathroom together, you seem to have secrets between each other and even share friends."
"I wouldn't say Jordan and Kurtis are friends...."
"How do you know a famous, rich and powerful man like Jordan? Did you know each other the day we went to make the agreement?"
"Who says that Jordan is powerful?"
"Money is power. Without money, you can't protect shit. If you want to protect, you need to be strong. It's a circle." Gun lit a cigarette and put it to his lips.
"Is that really the way you think?"
"It's just common sense."
I sighed and shook my head.
He still knows nothing.
