authors note before we start this chapter - i have buffed the characters a bit to make this an even fight , as you'll see the villans who fought asta before his demon form would be destroyed by current asta so i have decided to buff them so they don't get one shot , with that out of the way please enjoy
Asta and the group finally make it to the dungeon , when they get there they see the place surrounded by mages from the spade kingdoms.
"shit" asta said as he knew he'd have to fight and defeat the mages to get in
"is it a good idea to do this?, if we do this what if one of the devils comes here?" klaus says worried about what was going to happen.
asta knew what he had to do, he took out his demon dweller sword and asked noelle to pour her mana into it, although she had trouble , she did it for asta and she poured a lot of her mana into the sword , asta then put the sword on his back and started to make his move.
WATER MAGIC - SEA DRAGONS ROAR
everyone was shocked to hear asta use water magic and they saw a large dragon come out of the sword and going toward the dungeon as a distraction, it blew it and cause waves of water to throw off the guards and that's when the group made its move
ANTI MAGIC - GATLING FIST
he lays into a group of mages with his attack and takes out his demon slayer sword and starts to fight more
noelle was running around with asta and started to shoot water attacks and hit her targets, around asta she felt confident , and that's what she needed to be able to use her attacks effectively
WATER MAGIC - SEA DRAGONS ROAR
noelle yells as she sends a wave of water towards another group
luck and klaus were handling things on their side , with klaus using his magic & luck zoomed around the field with his lighting magic and yuno cleared out the rest which mimosa stayed behind to provide support.
from afar , a mage stood watching the chaos , he uses his spatial magic to transport to a base in the diamond kingdom
"lord vanica!" the mage shouts as he bows to vanica sitting in a chair
vanica is a member of the dark triad, her demon is megicula , a demon who's the main reason most of the people in this world are cursed , it is worth noting that her magic is blood magic and she was the one who killed noelles mom and placed a curse on the queen of the heart kingdom
"what is it?" vanica asks calmly
"it's him" the mage says
vanica eyes lit up like a kid waking up on christmas morning , she smiles wickedly and gets up immediately and asks the mage where
"the dungeon we sent troops to on the border of the clover kingdom ma'am"
vanica looks pleased, she walks to the back to find some troops
"Mars and ladros you're up!" two men stand up from their seats and walk towards her , they both kneel in front of vanica and respond "yes ma'am" they look up to reveal they eyes are a dark black color.
back to the battlefield, the troops on the outside are defeated and mimiosa is healing the group
"your turn asta!" she says to asta but he declines , he gets up and opens his grimore
ANTI MAGIC - SELF HEALING
a dark aura takes over asta and starts repairing him at the atomic level , after a while astas cuts heal and he is able to move like normal while the others looked shocked as to when he learned this move.
(flashback)
asta is sitting with doctor owen learning the basics of medicine and medical help
"the backbone of every group is the healer, the healer is the one who'll bring you back into action , if there's no healer then the team will crumble at the first sign of opposition" owen says
"i want to teach you and see if your magic can be used to help yourself and people" owen asks asta and asta obliges
asta begans to make small cuts and he infused them with his anti magic and the cuts heal themselves, he even try's this on doctor owen and it works but he notes he needs to learn how to do it without taking their mana away"
(flashback ends)
asta starts getting ready for the next step, to actually go into the dungeon
"mimosa can you create a map?" asta asks
"yes!" she says while being honored asta asked for her help
PLANT MAGIC - WORLD MAP
a small map is created made of flowers and they determine where to go, asta decide to break into groups of two, he sends luck and klaus , mimosa and yuno and asta takes noelle. they began their way into
the dungeon and they spilt up.
deep in the dungeon in front of two huge doors , a huge beast like creature holds two bloodied mages in his hands and tosses them aside , he punches the door bur it makes a tiny dent in it
"this is gonna take longer then i thought it would, time to speed this up"
BEAST MAGIC - BEAR CLAWS
he starts clawing at the door , it will take some time but he will get it open, anything for his leader.
back to asta and noelle , asta is walking in front of noelle, asta has his hair down and he wrapped his headband around his arm , he is wearing a simple black shirt and black jeans with his old shoes , noelle likes this look on asta and she continues to stare at him. Asta looks back and meets noelle in the eyes , they both quickly blush and look away
"man i should tell her how i feel soon" asta says to himself
with mimosa and yuno , yuno is cleaning things out and mimosa is there to back him up. after the go through a couple of mages, mimosa pops yuno with a surprising question.
"why did you hate asta , what was he like in the village?" she asks
yuno looks at her and sighs " his dream was and still is to become the wizard king , i'm sure it won't change , he had no magic what so ever and nobody believed in his dream , i even put him down for it which i regret a lot , i just wish i could take it all ba-"
BOOM
yuno is met with a punch to the face and is sent back into a wall. Mimosa is shocked and looks to see a giant beast like man,
"wh- who are you?" mimosa asked backing up to tend to yuno
"my name is vetto of the eye of the midnight sun"
"what was that noise?" asta says panicking , irs coming from this way! " he yells as he puts his mana into his face and starts breaking down walls he eventually gets to where he needs to be and he sees vetto holding mimosa by the neck while yuno is knocked out cold against the wall.
"fuck!, MIMOSA , YUNO! " he yells which catches vettos attention
he drops mimosa and walks to asta which a terrifying look in his eyes , he lunges at asta and it met with a knee to the face which sends him back
"you basterdl asta exclaims , "i'll kill you myself " he says as he draws out the demon destruction and the demon slayer sword
vettos eyes open, he stares at the sword and gets up and wipes the blood off of his face
"I WILL RECLAIM THOSE SWORDS, IN THE NAME OF MASTEE LITCH" vettos yells
"litch?" asta asks.
