Lisa
When I left the party, I did my best to erase Sana from my mind. Seeing her again was a great surprise and all, but I really hoped she understood that we could be nothing but friends. Sana and I had only spent a day together when we did actually know each other so I doubt she still had many feelings for me so other than sexual. She was a beautiful girl and I'm sure she has been through plenty of relationships to even still be hung up on me in any way. If she hasn't changed much since we first met, I hoped her and I could be friends but if not then we'll just have to go our separate ways like we've done before.
I knocked on Chaeyoung's apartment door. From the inside, I could hear tons of laughter over the music Jennie and her friends were blasting. The music was so loud that I doubted they even heard my knock. Sighing, I raised my fist again to give the door a louder pound but before I could, the door swung open. Jennie stood there with a huge smile on her and money in her hand. She was wearing a tank top and short shorts that were a little bit revealing, but I didn't care since she was just around her friends. I doubted Chae was into girls one bit, Seulgi was over Jennie, and V and Jackson could look all they wanted, but they knew they had no chance with her.
"You're not the pizza guy", she told me with a small frown. I decided to look behind her to see what was going on inside. All of her friends were sitting in a circle minding their own business, except one: Jisoo. What the fuck was she even doing there? I didn't know she was that close with Jennie's friends as well. Most importantly, what the fuck was Jennie doing wearing basically nothing around her?
I clenched my jaw and gave Jisoo a threatening glare as she stared at me. She quickly looked away and Jennie looked behind me to see who I was staring at. "What are you doing here, Lili?", she asked me casually. I guess she couldn't piece together what or who I was looking at.
I shook off all of the animosity for Jisoo and focused on my girlfriend. "I went to a party and it sucked so I came to see my Nini," I purred to her as I stepped closer to her. I put my hands on her hips and kissed her neck softly. "I'm really horny, baby girl", I admitted as I took in her scent.
The last thing I expected Jennie to do was for her to step away from me. She took my hands from her hips and instead held them with her own. "That's nice and all, but I'm with my friends, baby. We're having a slumber party and I don't want to leave them."
"We can just go to my car for a few minutes, I doubt they'll notice", I tried once again with a smirk but Jennie wasn't having it. She didn't even blink. I groaned and looked past her to see Jisoo staring once again. For the second time, I scowled at her and Jennie looked behind me and finally caught who I was looking at. She turned back to me swiftly and let go of my hands.
"Can you not be rude? She's my friend, Lisa," she scolded me. I rolled my eyes and looked away from Jisoo. It was obvious that I wasn't getting any tonight and that Jennie wasn't going to ditch her friends for me so I gave in.
"Fine. I'm sorry. You're right. Have fun with your friends, Jen." The last thing I wanted was to leave her with Jisoo even if all of her friends were around. I had trust in Seulgi that she would tell me if Jisoo tried something, but I could never be too sure. "Can we go to lunch tomorrow to make it up?"
"I have rehearsals all day tomorrow. The play is coming up in just a couple of weeks so I may be really busy. How about dinner instead? It may be late but I can make it up to you then. I'll text you, okay?", Jennie insisted. At least she was willing to make things up to me. She genuinely looked like she felt bad and I didn't want her to feel that way because I knew there were going to be times when I was too busy to spend time with her as well, with all of the games coming up.
"I'll only go to dinner with you if I get dessert as well," I teased with a slight chuckle.
She giggled and pushed my shoulders playfully. "Why are you so horny tonight, Baby L? Go take a cold shower."
"Only if you join me to save water."
Her cheeks flushed but she shrugged her shoulders. "We'll see if you get dessert or not. You have to be a good girl and stop being mean to Jisoo."
She was literally asking me to stop doing something that came so naturally. I didn't trust Jisoo whatsoever, but I guess I had to trust Jennie. "Okay, I'll be a good girl," I mumbled.
Jennie gave me a satisfied smile before leaning in to give me a sweet kiss. Once again, my hands met her hips and I pulled her closer to me. The kiss started off simple, but I made sure I prolonged it as long as I could. I wanted Jisoo to see and get sick to her stomach. I don't care how many Shakespeare monologues her and Jennie recited together, Jennie loved me, and I loved her.

Jennie
The days until the first performance of the play was shriveling down in a hurry. Each day that went by, I felt a little more nervous. I knew my lines like the back of my hand, but what if I forgot them at the last minute? What if I miss my cues? What if I sing a really bad note or trip while doing part of the choreography? These questions taunted me and made me feel insecure about my ability to perform even though I've performed countless of times in front of people. I guess I was so nervous because this time I was going to perform in front of well-known critics, movie and Broadway stars and students that bought tickets.
There was a lot of pressure on me to perform to the best of my ability since so much time and money had gone into the production. This production was supposed to be the school's most anticipated and expensive one yet. Not only was I under pressure but so was everyone else affiliated with the project. The directors and producers expected nothing less than perfect since their jobs were on the line as well. Any time someone messed up the slightest line, they'd be yelled at and we had to take things back from the top. The beginning of me accepting the role was blissful and like a dream come true, but with the final days approaching, it was exhausting and nerve-wrecking.
One person who made me feel better about everything, although, was Jisoo. No matter how bitchy everyone else was being on set, she always had a smile on her face. She was always giving out compliments to everyone, even those who had messed up. She was like our personal mascot—if anything—that worked to keep the vibes on set less tense as possible. No matter how ridiculous I felt wearing my costumes, she always told me that I looked beautiful; and whenever I fucked up my lines, she made sure to let me know that even the best actors mess up sometimes. I was appreciative of her and how she made me feel at ease. She was truly an amazing friend and I was glad that I had got to meet her.
"What are you doing tonight? You want to grab something to eat?", Jisoo asked me after rehearsals. We were basically the last ones still around as usual. The rest of my friends jetted out as soon as we were dismissed.
"I'm actually going to dinner with Lisa, but you're more than welcome to come." I knew Lisa didn't like Jisoo but I didn't see why. She was the nicest person I had ever met and she actually loved Lisa. Even if I knew Lisa wouldn't be happy about Jisoo tagging along, I thought it would be a good idea for the two to get to know each other tonight.
"I don't want to be a third wheel."
"No, seriously. Please, I want you to come."
I texted Lisa to meet me at the same place we ate at when we first went to eat with each other. When I arrived with Jisoo she was already sitting down at a booth. From the look on her face, I could tell she was confused on why Jisoo was with me. Lisa got up when I approached the table and gave me a quick kiss. "What is she doing here?", she mumbled to me as Jisoo sat down.
"She's hungry just like we are, chill out," I told Lisa as I kissed her cheek. She sighed as I walked past her to sit in the booth and she sat beside me. I grabbed my menu and began looking over it as there was an awkward silence at the table. I peered up from my menu to see Jisoo staring at hers while Lisa stared her down. I elbowed Lisa and she groaned. "Aren't you going to greet her?", I whispered to Lisa.
She smacked her lips but opened her mouth to finally say something towards Jisoo. "Hey, Jisoo", she said in the most uninterested voice ever. I rolled my eyes at how immature she was acting. She didn't act this way with any of my other friends so I didn't get why she was always being such an asshole to Jisoo.
"Seriously, why is she here?", Lisa whispered to me once again.
"I want you to at least try to be nice to her, just try to get to know her."
"But I don't want to."
"Why not, baby?"
"I don't like her."
"You don't even know her."
As Lisa and I aggressively whispered to each other, Jisoo ordered her food to the waitress. When it was our turn, we both ordered and the waitress took our menus. Until we got our foods, there was nothing but silence between Lisa and Jisoo. Lisa was watching a basketball game on one of the mounted televisions as I talked to Jisoo. Once we got our food, Jisoo finally decided to speak since the silence was so uncomfortable.
"Your last game was amazing, Lisa. You're like the comeback kid now. Everyone's talking about you," Jisoo told Lisa sincerely. Jisoo was really into basketball as well so I was sure she was to be at nearly every game just like I was.
"Thanks", was all Lisa said.
"Are you going pro after college?"
"Don't know."
"I think you should."
"Cool."
Jisoo looked at me with frustration since she couldn't get anything but monotone short answers from Lisa. I was pretty annoyed as well. She could at least try to have a decent conversation with her. "Lisa, why don't you actually talk to Jisoo? You two should get to know each other."
"I don't want to get to know her", Lisa said aloud as she looked from Jisoo to me. I wasn't sure what to say to that. She was so blunt about it.
"Why not?", Jisoo asked.
"I don't want to get to know you because I don't like you. I don't think we'll be friends. Just because you're friends with my girlfriend doesn't mean you have to be friends with me. I'm not going to put up an act just because Jennie wants me to. I don't like you, Jisoo, and that's that."
"Dude, you've never gave me a chance—"
"Just shut up."
"Lisa, don't talk to her that way."
"Why, Jennie? Why can't I talk to Jisoo the way I want to? Is it because you have a crush on her or something? I mean, it's totally not obvious that you two have something going on." I wasn't sure what Lisa was hinting at but if she thought I was cheating on her then she had everything misconstrued. I knew that she's right saying that I had a crush on Jisoo, but why would I cheat on her? I've been played by many girls and I wouldn't do something like that to someone else. I knew how much that shit hurt and I would never treat Lisa like that.
"We're just friends, Lisa. You're really out of line and you're acting like some jealous child right now. I would never cheat on you and you know that."
"I'm just going to go." Lisa reached into her wallet and slammed down money on the table before taking off. I didn't see how she got so mad over nothing. She was really dumb to think that I would cheat on her. She obviously didn't trust me at all.
"I'm sorry about that. I shouldn't have come then everything wouldn't have happened. You should go after her. I'll get your bill", Jisoo told me as she covered her face with her hands.
"It's not your fault and I'm not going after her. She's jealous over nothing and she'll get over it. Don't worry about it. It's my problem, not yours. Eat your food and I'll get the bill for putting you into this mess," I offered. If anyone was the victim, then it was Jisoo. She didn't do anything wrong yet she got sucked into unnecessary drama by Lisa.
"Are you sure you don't want to go after her?"
"I'm going to let her think and cool off. If she trusts me and she loves me then she'll apologize. She's just overreacting and she'll realize that. Now, can we change the subject?"
Jisoo stared at me seriously for a few moments before a goofy smile came upon her face. "Okay then, what's your favorite Shakespeare play? On the count of three, 1...2...3...GO!"
"The Taming of the Shrew!", I screamed with panic. The girl across me toppled over as she laughed at how quickly and loudly I said my answers. I got some looks for my random outburst. What made it worst was that The Taming of the Shrew wasn't even my favorite one.
"That one sucks!"
"I know but I panicked! You counted it down so I screamed the first one that came to mind," I explained. Jisoo continued to laugh at me as I laughed as well. If Lisa was going to be mad at me at least I had Jisoo to lift up my spirits.
