"Seems like some death threat.."

"How am I supposed to know?! If I did would I be so surprised?"
"That's right though. We need to find a way out."
"The door's locked from out. You got your phone?"
"Yeah..."
"Call... Call Jk."
"I don't have his number."
"Alpine? Y/n? Jin Hyung? Anyone!"
"Alpine... Calling her.."
We called Alpine and Alpine picked up the call after three rings.
"Yeah?"
"We need your help!"
"Hmm? In what?"
"Someone locked me and Taehyung on my terrace and is shooting pebbles at us.."
"What?! You both okay?"
"Till now. Can you be quick?"
"I'm coming. I'm at the airport. Wait for 15 minutes."
"That's too much..."
"Alright, I'm co- I'm coming. I'll be quick."
Alpine hanged up and Polo hugged me.
"Are you okay Tae?"
"I am... But..."
"We need to hide somewhere..."
"You think that storeroom has space for us?",I said, pointing towards a storeroom.
"If not we'll push the stuff in outside."
Polo opened the store room and it had enough space for the two of us without taking a thing out.

(Alpine's POV)
It's been 2 days since Dad came and it didn't take too long for him to befriend Jin and Hobi. Yoongi had also returned. Even he got to see dad. I didn't know my dad was everyone's hero.
I laughed to myself as I saw Jk and Jin laughing with Dad in the living room. Yoongi the quiet guy was also smiling and talking. Hobi helped me and my Trisha carry the trays to the table.
I recieved a message from Jimin in our "Crazy Team" group. He was enjoying his time with his family. Uncle and Aunty Park shifted back to Korea two years ago and since then Jimin leaves no chance of visiting them.
Aries also went on small tours around the country with Namjoon. I sent a picture of us all enjoying.
Taehyung wrote that he was planning to propose to Polo the next day. I decided to add Polo the next day after she's our family.
"Al...!", called out Jungkook
"Coming...",I replied, taking my cooking gloves off.
"Al..",said Y/n
"Yeah?"
"You're thinking of a sweet family, aren't you?"
"Yeah.. you learnt telepathy as well?"
"Yeah..."
"It's so nice to see them all happy, right?"
"It is..."
"Come on, let's go join them for the dinner."
"Yeah..!"
We walked to the dinner table and ate our food. Dad told us that he's leaving the next day.
The night went by like river.

We're at the airport. Jimin,Aries and Namjoon also came to drop Dad. We hugged Dad and Dad pecked our cheeks before heading to catch the flight. The others were busy talking to eachother when I recieved a call from Polo. It was already twilight. Maybe Tae has proposed to her..
I was excited when I received the call within 3 rings.
"Yeah?"
"We need your help!"
"Hmm? In what?"
"Someone locked me and Taehyung on my terrace and is shooting pebbles at us.."
"What?! You both okay?"
"Till now. Can you be quick?"
"I'm coming. I'm at the airport. Wait for 15 minutes."
"That's too much..."
"Alright, I'm co- I'm coming. I'll be quick."
I quickly hanged and pulled Jk.
"What?"
"Someone has locked Polo and Tae on Polo's apartment terrace."
"What?"
"Yes. We need to hurry. Fast.."
"Yeah, okay.."
"What happened?",asked Jin
"Polo and Tae are locked on the terrace."
"What?!", exclaimed Y/n.
"We can't waste time. Come on..!"
"Yeah..."
We ran to the car. Jungkook sat on the driving seat and rushed through the moderately busy streets. It took us like 5 minutes to reach their apartment.
I called Polo.
"Alpine.."
"We're here. Don't worry. We're coming."
"Okay..."
We ran up the stairs because the elevator would take too long.
"Break the door...",said Namjoon
Jungkook and Jimin kicked open the door.
We rushed inside and saw Taehyung and Polo, stones scattered all around.
"You okay?",said Jin, running to Taehyung to pull him in a hug.
"I'm okay but we were panicking. What took you all so long...?",said Taehyung. Polo was almost tearing up.
It was already dark outside. There was no light on the terrace, a fully dark compartment.
"It's okay....",said Aries, hugging Polo
"What happened here?",asked Namjoon
"We need to know everything. Let's go down...",said Y/n
We went downstairs to Polo's block and made them sit. Aries made a hot cup of chocolate for them.
"What had happened? Tell us everything, okay?",said Y/n
"I took Polo to the terrace to, you know why, and then as I about to say that, we were showered with stones. We ran to the door but it was locked from outside.",said Taehyung
"As we were still deciding what to do, a big rock was slammed on the door. It had a paper wrapped around it.",said Polo
"Paper? What paper?", said Jin, suddenly getting shocked by something.
"This one..",said Taehyung, taking out a small piece of paper.
Jin read out the whole paper to us.
"Y/n-ah..."
"This can't just be a coincidence, can it?",said Y/n.
"What are you two talking of?",asked Aries.
Y/n narrated the similar incident that happened to them exactly 3 days ago.
"And you didn't tell us this?!",said Aries furiously.
"We seriously forgot about it because of how engrossed we were with Dad...",said Jin
"But..."
"It's okay. Ari, calm down. Listen, can you again read the letters you two got?"
"Sure...",said Jin, starting to reread the letters out to us.
I listened to it, silently.
"Did you understand anything?",asked Jimin
"I did..",I said.
"What?",asked Namjoon
"You see, it doesn't matter who they tried to hit. I don't think they had any intentions of killing you right now."
"Why?",asked Jungkook
"Because in both letters, the thing that is common is both were death threats and that the person sending these, already tried killing."
"Who tried killing me? I agree with Jin Hyung...",said Tae.
"I can give two times as the probable attempt."
"Which two?",asked Tae.
"That day when the bullet diverted towards you. It could have intentionally or unintentionally shot you dead. Second, when you floated to Polo's mother. If that day, luck was not with you, a 1 year old baby could have easily died of pneumonia, heavily soaked in both sea and rain water even if no shark attempted to eat you."
"Umm.... We can count that..!",said Jimin in agreement.
"You know what, both the letters have three things in common."
"Which three?",asked Jin and Aries
"Number 1: The way they were sent."
"That's right. Both of these were sent to us by throwing it at us when we were busy in an alone time.",said Y/n
"The alone time might me a coincidence.",said Namjoon
"I'm not counting the time but yeah they were thrown at us..!",said Jin
"Number 2: Both wishing you two death.."
"Hmm...!",nodded Jungkook
"Number 3 and the most important one. They were sent to the guys because it was aimed to be channelled to 'My Son'. It's written in both the notes."
"But who would write My Son?",asked Jimin
"Exactly. Who would? Jin oppa, just like you don't know who your father is, Tae doesn't know as well. He was found near the shore on a stormy night by Ms. Mcdowney, Polo's mother."
"You don't know your father?",asked Jin
"I don't.",said Taehyung
"And that's the point of suspicion. If it was written as 'Mr. Kim', there wasn't a sure sign. Both of you are Kim and that provides no clue. But 'My Son', it's irrelevant. Why would someone claim you two as their son?"
"They can when they are the father..",said Y/n.
"But we don't know who our father is..",said Taehyung
"And that's why he can be the father. You two don't know who your father is. Either truly or fake, the person is claiming you both as Sons..",said Y/n
"But what gain would it do?",said Namjoon
"If we see, when you die and don't have a spouse, children and your parents are alive, your property goes to them if there's no will or no nominee for your property, alive.",said Jungkook
"You mean, if Tae's alleged father kills Tae, all of his property goes to him?",said Polo
"Lawfully, yes.",said Jungkook
"Tae, Jin, you two are getting a DNA test tomorrow.",said Y/n
"Why?",asked Taehyung
"Didn't you once tell us that the locket in which you had your name written, had another name starting with the alphabet 'S' and ending with 'I' and 'N'?"
"Yes I did."
"You have a faint memory of an older brother, don't you?"
"I do..",said Taehyung
"Wait... Jin's full name is Seokjin. Starts with S and end with I and N.",said Namjoon
"And the letters claimed them to be the sender's sons..",said Jimin
"Making you two brothers...",said Y/n
"That's can also be a mere coincidence...",said Jin
"It can but so much is just a coincidence?",I said.
After 2 hours of negotiations, Jin and Taehyung finally agreed of taking a DNA test.
Namjoon fixed the appointment tomorrow at 11:00 in the morning as we all went to Jin's place and assured our security.
We narrated the incident to Hobi and Yoongi but Yoongi looked a bit nervous on hearing those.
What's up with him?

And I know this chapter is shorter than the rest but...
I just didn't know what to write..
So this story is almost at its end. I thought to make this a short story but it ended up being long...
I thought I would end the story in which just Jin and Y/n meet and forget the predicaments they faced
But I thought that was too Cliché.
Anyways...
I hope this story isn't disappointing.
