꧁𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚎𝚂𝚔𝚒𝚙 4 𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚑𝚜꧂
Our first-period teacher was calling for Rin, a poor attempt to try to wake him up. I was sitting next to him, I sighed and looked at the teacher. "He sleeps like a rock, you won't wake him like that. You need to wake him like this." As I said that the class was watching in curiosity as well as the teacher, I reached my hand up and smacked Rin on the back of his head. He jolted awake. "Sukiyaki!" He yelled, a snot bubble popping, he looked at me and growled rubbing his head where I had slapped him.
I smiled innocently hiding a cunning look. Our teacher proceeded with his lecture after telling Rin off for sleeping in class. "You're gonna pay for that." Rin grumbled under his breath. "Oh? I'd like to see you try.~" I mocked him, he growled again and looked back at his book causing me to giggle quietly.
Rin turned behind him, I followed his gaze and saw Bon staring intensely at Rin almost as if he wanted to kill him. I looked at Rin and noticed he seemed to be having a self-absorbed conversation in his head again based on his facial expression. I looked back at Bon and we made eye contact, I smiled and gave him a small wave. He looked back at his book with a huff, I felt as though someone was staring at me so I looked over and saw Shima staring at me as though he was daydreaming.
I smiled at him and waved just like I did with Bon, Shima blushed and waved back, a big smile plastered on his face so I turned back around to properly sit in my seat. "Can anyone name the lowest-level demon related to the king of Astaroth?" Our teacher asked, I perked up knowing the answer, Rin was sleeping in class next to me again. "Okumura!" Our teacher yelled, Rin jumped awake, I put a hand up to my mouth to cover my laugh.
He rubbed the back of his head nervously and said he had never seen one, I kept my mouth covered continuing to hide my quiet laughter. "It's a coaltar." Our teacher said annoyed, our teacher then looked at me still annoyed. "Based on you laughing I assume you knew the answer." I nodded at his comment, Rin shot me a dirty look. "It is rude to laugh at fellow students regarding their intelligence." Did this teacher just call Rin stupid? That was smooth. That made me quietly laugh again.
"(L/n) since you find this so funny...tell me, who is the second most powerful demon in Gehenna?"
"(D/n)" I replied smugly.
"And are they living or not?" The teacher challenged me, I clenched my fists.
"He is deceased."
"How did he die?" The teacher continued to challenge my knowledge.
"Satan killed him along with (D/n)'s wife, (M/n)." I said through gritted teeth.
"And they died why?" He said pushing up his glasses.
"They were protecting their only daughter, no one knows who she is or if she survived." I said suppressing my black flames so they wouldn't be unleashed.
"Very well, you know quite a lot about demons. No wonder why you have an A+ in all your exorcist classes. You may sit back down."
I sat back down angrily, Rin looked at me nervously. 'How dare that stupid human make me relive that traumatic experience!? I swear when I'm through with him he'll be no more than a head on a pole!' Rin tapped me on the shoulder as the bell rang, I grabbed my binder and stormed out of the class to my next class. Before I stormed out I gave the teacher a death stare making him gulp and readjusted his collar. I ignored the classmates asking what my deal was for storming out like that. Just then I saw (F/n) trot up to me meowing, I squat down and pat her on the head.
'Ignore the human, he doesn't know that you are the child.'
I rolled my eyes. "Yes he does, all my cram school teachers were informed who I was by Mephisto." I stood up and turned around hearing my name being called. And there I saw, Rin, running towards me with a blonde girl. A friend of his perhaps?
They both stopped running and Rin panted then stood upright. "I get it, how you feel, but don't run from me...geez." He said in between pants. I looked at the blonde girl, she was very cute looking, she had shoulder-length blonde hair, green eyes, and was wearing a kimono? Why would she wear that rather than an actual uniform? I mean I get it, the uniforms show too much leg in my opinion but couldn't she just wear regular clothing? "Who's the chic?" I asked, Rin looked at the blonde girl then me, she was blushing and looked nervous.
"This is Shiemi, she's a friend of mine. Shiemi, this is (Y/n) who is also a friend of mine."
He introduced us both. I smiled and shook her hand, she blushed and gave me a shy smile. "Want to be friends? I always wanted a female human friend!" I beamed happily, trying to distract myself from the anger I was feeling not long ago. "H-human?" She asked confused, my eyes grew wide realizing my mistake. "Is she like you?" Shiemi asked looking at Rin.
"Like Rin?" I asked confused.
"She knows I'm a demon.." He said embarrassed.
"You're a dumbass, you know that right?" I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, I know...." He sulked. I looked over at Shiemi.
"Yes, I'm like him, don't tell anyone please." She nodded her head happily, I sighed in relief.
We walked to our next class together, luckily we three had all the same classes together. We all walked in and sat down, Shiemi sat next to me on my right while Rin sat next to me on my left. Yukio walked in once the class bell rang. He held a stack of papers, our tests, (F/n) jumped up and sat on the desk. "(Y/n) I say this every time, keep (F/n) off the table if she comes to classes with you." He pushed his glasses up, I laughed. "You know damn well she won't listen." (F/n) meowed in agreement, Yukio sighed and continued calling names of the students to give back their graded tests.
"(Y/n)."
I got up and took my paper from him, I looked at it, a perfect 100/100. "Good job, as always. You really do know everything about Gehenna." I looked at him and smiled. "Well I'd hope so, I was raised there after all." I said quietly so only he could hear. I sat back in my chair, (F/n) looked at my paper.
'Good job (Y/n)!'
"Oh please, you and I both know there's nothing I don't know about our homeworld." I whispered to (F/n) cockily.
Rin got his paper back from Yukio. "(Y/n) I want you to tutor Rin." Yukio said annoyed, Rin walked back to our table ashamed. I nodded, "Yeah sure thing teach." (F/n) walked on the table over to Rin and begged for attention.
'Cheer up Rin! Petting me will make you feel better!~'
"Yeah ok.." Rin said then began to pet (F/n).

"Ugh, I hate P.E."
I groaned and tugged at my gym shirt, the clothes were too brightly colored for me, they didn't match my black flames or dark demeanor. Purple pants and a grey shirt, it wasn't too bad though... I was sitting on the edge of the bowl-like arena sitting next to Shiemi and (F/n), we all three watched Rin and Bon racing inside while the frog demon chased after them. "Those two dumbasses let their egos get in the way." I said throwing my head back with my eyes closed.
"Tell me about it."
Shima said smiling and awkwardly rubbing the back of his head. "They're so alike, why can't they just get along?" I questioned looking back down at them. They were arguing with each other, it looks like they were about to fight. And then they started to fight. I sighed and slid down and grabbed Rin by his ear pulling him away from Bon while Shima and Konekomaru pulled away Bon.
"Ow! Ow! My ear!!" Rin yelled trying to get out of my grasp.
The teacher talked with Bon while Shima, Konekomaru, Rin, and I was left alone. "Do you have any idea how stupid you are!? You should never pick fights with people over such childish topics!" I yelled and let go of his ear. Rin rubbed his ear then yelled back. "Says the person who says to finish the fight and not start it!" Shima laughed awkwardly, Rin and I whipped our heads to look at him.
"What are you laughing at!?" We yelled at the same time.
"You guys fight like an old married couple!"
Shima said between laughs, which made Konekomaru laugh a bit. I looked at Rin and blushed, he blushed too, then I looked back at Shima. "We are not!" I yelled. Shima then told us about Bon, he is exactly like Rin. Then Konekomaru proceeded to tell us about the blue knight. I watched Rin as he listened, he was really interested in the story. I blushed thinking about him then looked away.
After a few minutes, it was my turn to run, and I was running with Shiemi. I was in the lead doing a light jog, (F/n) was up waiting with Rin. Shiemi fell on her knees, I turned around and saw the demon frog almost get her but the teacher pulled the chain back causing the frog to be pulled back. I ran up to her and helped her up, "Thank you." She smiled, I nodded. "(L/n) you can't help her, if this demon were unchained she would be dead by now!" The teacher yelled down at us. "Wrong! The demon would be dead right now for just thinking about killing my friend!" I yelled up at him, just then he got a phone call. He ran away, and Shiemi and I climbed up the ladder to be with the others.
I looked down at the uncaged demon frog he left, it yawned. "Aw so cute.~" I cooed the demon frog looked up at me and made a happy ribbit noise. "You call that cute?" Shima asked me, Bon and Rin talking in the background. I nodded, "I find all demons cute in their own way." Rin froze and blushed when he heard this but kept talking to Bon acting like I didn't notice, but I did. "If anything, I'd say you're the cute one." Shima commented, I looked at him and smiled. "Thanks, that's sweet of you." I then looked over to the arena seeing Bon make his way down. My eyes grew. "Bon get the hell out! He'll kill you!" I yelled down at him, he ignored me and kept walking, I huffed and walked after him.
'You'll expose yourself (Y/n)!' (F/n) yelled at me running along next to me.
"I don't care." I grumbled.
Rin grabbed me by the wrist and I looked at him, he shook his head. I sighed, "Fine, if I can't do it, you do it. Might make him like you more." Rin went down into the arena and stopped the frog from attacking Bon, I jumped in once I saw Rin in its mouth. I ran up and the frog let Rin go, making content ribbit noises. Rin got Bon away from the frog as Bon was yelling demanding to know how Rin pulled such a stunt. I looked over at the frog and started scratching its chin and cooed.
"You're such a good froggy for not killing anyone!~ Oh yes you are! Yes, you are!"
