After Khorne's departure, Demiurge, with Trico's help began his work that was given to him. He began to do more experiments on Skaven and the abnormal kyber crystal that was later named Warp Stone, thanks to it's abilities.
As Demiurge found out in his studies, Warp Stone is a rare kyber crystal that has a transformation magic in it. Every crystal has other magic in it. One has Ice, fire, earth or nature magic. The closest one that that magic was, it was to nature magic. That is why Warp Stone has green color.
After that Demiurge began his experiments on Skavens and wrote a report about it to Khorne.
'After longer exposure to the Warp Stone, smaller skaven began to show even more intelligence and ability to build things. On other hand, the bigger one had shown even more battle instincts but is not following them blindly now. He shows much more strategy in his attacks and seems now more promising.
Shockingly after few days, a report came to me to read, it was from kyber mines. Overseers says that more Warp Stones appered in the cave and I ordered them to bring them to me. With help from Trico I have gathered more rats colonies and expose them to the crystal. After a DAY, their numbers increased to two hundred, and after another day to four hundred. They multiply in amazing speed and grow to adultery in seconds. They are perfect work force and meat shields, my lord. After that I began to look for a place where they can live and I decided to use 6th floor caves that they can live in, of course after Aura and Mare's approval. Skaven seem to love live underground where they can dig chambers and underground paths. But what quite amused me is that after exposure some of those rats became very intelligent in a sense of building buildings and machines, natural born engineers. They constructed many buildings and primitives machines, just in few days, ignoring their lack of strength and height. Of course when they had constructed somewhat of hierarchy among them I told them who is their Emperor. And it seems that the first skavens are their leaders, so it makes work only easier. Now, only after few days, in the ground of 6th floor is a mini city of rats ready for your commands.

Demiurge ended his report and using his servant, he send it to the Emperor. He stood up from his chair and walked out of the room, teleportation to the skaven city, Skavenblight. He walked on one of shaky bridge's that connected all of the under city's buildings. Giant pillars that supported cave's ceiling and allowed skaven to build on them. That is really perfect place for the capital city of Skaven, just under their god's dominion. And yes of course Demiurge, who they believe is a messenger of their might god Khorne. Only their leaders could see Khorne himself as he was the one who created them. They work day and night hoping that, just like Demiurge said, Khorne will call for them and they can prove their worth to him.
He walked among breeding chambers where skaven matrons birthed every hour new rats. Next wall to them were slaughterhouses where they choped meat from animals that were hunted on the surface of the 6th floor but also other skaven that died or were just unfortunate to get under chopper. There were also pens with Giant Rats, Brood Horrors and Burrowing Behemoths that did not only were beast of burden or military units but also were used to produce meat for always growing colony.
Air of the cave was already polluted by smoking smelters that melted scavenged metal from the new world, and made into weapons for Skaven and Beastmen by Demiurge's orders. He didn't told some things to his Emperor as he wanted to make a pleasant surprise for him.
Next were mutation chambers were rats were exposed to Warp Stone. Most changed to normal Skaven, some had higher intelligence, some were stronger. But most rare ones were Ratogres and Grey Seers. One was hulking mass of muscles and other was able of spell casting and the most intelligent.
Finally after few minutes of walking, Demiurge arrived to his destination. Home of Skaven leaders and Temple to Khorne, god of war, blood and mutation.
With a sly smile he entered it, every skaven that he came across bowed down to him. On the second highest floor was throne room. Two thrones build out of bones and metal and two Rat Lords on them.
First was Grey Seer Thanquol, first ever skaven and the most intelligent. He was able to use magic and was overseer of skaven magicians and engineers. He was wearing helmet that protected his head an horns, another mutation that appered for Grey Seers. His body was hidden with black robes and armored gloves. His weapons were a staff with first Warp Stone on the top that was give to him by Demiurge and a metal sword.
Second was Warlord Queek Headtaker the most fierce warrior of Skaven so far and leader of Skaven armies and slaves. He was wearing red armor with Khorne's insignia on it. On his back was rack with many skaven heads that challenged him. His weapons were two swords.
Moment they saw him, both of them jumped down their thrones and bowed to him.
"The Great Messenger! Yes Yes! Skaven are glad to see you!"
Thanquol shouted in delight seeing Demiurge.
"Yes Yes! It is great honor to see you again!"
Queek shouted after him. Demiurge smiled in content and walked past them to a window overlooking whole city.
"Tell me Thanquol, Queek. Do you think that our great God Emperor Khorne is satisfied with your work?"
Queek and Thanquol looked at each other and nodded.
"Yes Yes! We are working hard for our lord's love! We are making weapons and armors for the beats and new rats every day! New abominations created!"
"Heheheh! New slaves to build more caves! New warriors to fight for this glory!"
Queek began to laugh just to be hit in the head by Thanquol.
"Quiet you rat!"
Demiurge chuckled in amusement. He turned towards them.
"Yes, you are. Just in few days you have made quite a numerous army and many beasts. But...you can't live just here. I have a plan that can make you shine in out lords even more!"
Rats began to tremble with excitement and happiness.
"Yes Yes! Tell us! Tell us!"
Demiurge walked up to one of the maps and summoned map of the New World. He attached it to the wall, marking every country and bigger cities. Finally he marked Skavenblight with a green rat head in place where Nazarick is.
"As you see, for now there is only Skavenblight. But in order to outstretch our Emperor's dominion we need to prepare for war that is coming. And you can help in that not only in making weapons or monsters. You can create more under cities to gather information, steal weapons and assassinate our Emperor's enemies. And finally in the time of war you can take over the city for him. And pain it red with blood....What do you think?"
Demiurge turned to rats only to see them look at the map in amazement. They never saw outside world and now they can do it. Both rats nodded to Demiurge without any word.
"Splendid! Then how about we begin with four locations? First, The Great Lake, making a city there might be problematic but there is nothing you can't do right? A few days ago, Khazrack conquered it and out Emperor changed lizardmen that lived them to new race, Blood Lizardmen using his blood."
The great fountain in the middle of the village that Khorne constructed using one of the lizardman artifacts, Great Wine Pot. A never ending pot of wine, he poured his blood into it and with manipulation magic made if overflow changing it to a fountain. Next to the fountain, a temple in name of Khorne was build were lizardmen make bloody sacrifices. Druids of the tribe after a mutation changed to Priests of Blood. Blood awakened their true potential now being able to use their blood to make enchantments runes. Female druids became healers and teachers.
Now, all males of of lizardmen changed into Blood lizardmen, all males have to do it after going into adultery. But females don't do it because after a one try it was found out that females loose their ability to mate, unlike males. It quite shocked Khorne but even he doesn't know full potential and all mutation that his blood can give, that is why he is still experimenting with it.
But what is more, blood from the fountain founded it's way to the ground and then to water. It mutated most of the flora and fauna in the Great Lakes not only trees got bigger, but also animals got more dangerous and bigger, but even with Khorne's blood they attack lizardmen. Of course they are no match for them but those animals are interesting. And it seems that because they are not sentient the aspect of loyalty from blood isn't working on them.
"While it will be hard to construct under city in that terrain, the pros of this are high. Not only you will be another occupant force of the area, you will also have another source of food and beast to use. What do you think?"
Thanquol nodded and hit the ground with his staff.
"I will send my best engineers! Yes! Yes!"
Demiurge nodded.
"That will be grand. Next off, three cities. Re-Estize, Arwintar, Kami Miyako. You need to build under cities also under them as they will be most likely first goals of out wars."
"I will send my best Ratchiefs! They will build those cities and take them over!"
Queek shouted eager for a fight.
"Yes, you will. But not until command is given by the God Emperor. Only after that Skaven will flood the cities. Well, I need to go to my happy farm. I have few more things to do there. I hope that you will complete your tasks. Goodbye."
After that Demiurge walked out of the chamber and teleported to his own camber. He placed hand on his face and began to chuckle until it transformed to full out laughter.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! So close, so close. I created nearly perfect slaves for my lord. They are useful but also are something that we can lose any time and not even feel it! I hope that you are proud of my plan my lord!"
Demiurge continued to laugh for few minutes. Hoping that his teacher and person he admires will see his effort and work. But he doesn't do it for pries, but to show Khorne that HE, Demiurge, is the most loyal and useful servant.
He wants to show it....
....so he isn't abandoned again.
