Liam's POV
When I woke up I found that I was in my bed but I wasn't alone though. I felt thin arms wrapped around my waist and a head on my shoulder. I looked down and there was Rosa asleep.
"Oh your awake." I finally noticed that Scott and Kira were in the room
"Why are you in my room and why is Rosa in my bed." I asked "not that I'm complaining" I mumbled the last part
"We'll get into that soon and you do know I can hear you right?" Scott asked making me curse "Do you need anything" he asked
"Yeah I really need to go" Scott laughed but the laugh didn't reach his eyes
"Kira you need to wake up" he shook her. She mumbled a bit before she shot up
"Is she ok? what happened?" I finally got a good look at her face. She looked like she hasn't slept in days and her eyes were red and puffy from crying.
It made me feel like I missed something important "What's wrong? Why did you wake her up?" I asked hoping for an answer
"We'll will tell you soon and kira she's fine you just need to stand by because Liam has to go to the bathroom" he rubbed her back then nodded to me.
I slowly pulled out from under Rosa but what happened next nearly killed me, Rosa started to whimper then her whole body started to shake. I quickly ran to her and held her making her stop and sigh.
"Whats going on?" I growled
"You guys have been out for two weeks" Kira asked Two weeks? As in 14 days "That's not all. When ever we moved Rosa away from you she went into a seizure and you would start to turn. You nearly took off doc's hand. I've had to restart Rosa's heart six times."
"Has she woken up once?" I asked Kira just shook her head "Did anything else happen well I was out?" Kira looked at Scott who nodded
"There is more then one assassin trying to kill us." That wasn't a shock
"And how do know this?" I felt like I wasn't going to like this answer
"A guy tried to kill all of us at the _____ yesterday" I shook my head this is all to much to handle and I really need to toilet
I lend over Rosa and pressed a kiss to her head "Rosa I'll be right back, just count to thirty and I'll be right back?" I started to pull away but this time she didn't shake so I rushed to the bathroom and back in record time.
When I sat down again she huddled back into my side. I turned to Kira and Scott "so whats wrong with her?" I asked
"She was poisoned. Derek and doc think that the only way that we can get her out of this coma with a call of a mate." Kira answered
"What the hell does that mean?" I asked. Rosa whimpered which made me relax a bit and stroke her back
"Derek's outside waiting for you to wake up, he didn't want to overwhelm you until your ready and healthy" I gave him a look that I hope portrayed how stupid I thought that was "hey it wasn't my idea, but I take it that you want me to go get him" I nodded
He walked to the door and yelled out for derek "wait how did you explain it to my parents"
"We didn't have to. Scott found your phone outside the well you were climbing and saw that you dad had texted saying they were going to see you next week and will miss you" Kira said
"Ah that's right my step dad has a conference in Los Angeles for three week and my mum went with him." So that gives us one more week to wake up Rosa
Just as I was going to say that thought Derek and Scott walked in "So let's get to the point" Derek said as he took a sit "your Rosa's mate. Which means she is your other half, your destined to with her. When you mate, its for life. Her pain is your pain and you can feel what she feels and vise versa." He said
I was not so shocked about what he said, I just wanted to know how to help Rosa I'll do anything.
We will do anything a faint voice said
"Who was that?" I said out loud
"Liam are you ok. Who are you talking to?" Scott asked
"Didnt you hear that voice?" They just shook there head with a concerned look on their faces
They can't hear me because I'm a part of you, I'm your wolf.
My wolf? Why have you only shown now and why does scott and Derek not hear their wolves?
Scott has not yet found changed his mate so his wolf has not yet manifested.
Wait does that mean that every wolf born or turned has a mate?
Well most of them. Some do not have mates as they may have died at birth or when being turned . They are called wanderers like Derek
"Hey Derek are you a wanderer?" I asked. Derek looked shocked for a split second then nodded
"Yes I am and its my own fault." Derek looked sad " it the worst possible thing to lose you mate and I wouldn't wish my life on anyone not ever my most hated enemy"
"Shit Derek I'm so sorry how did it happen?" Scott asked
"I believe Peter told you the story" Derek looked in pain as if it would kill him to even say her name
"Paige?" Kira whispered. Derek just nodded
"I'm so sorry Derek. Do you still hear your wolf?" I asked and again Derek looked shocked "mine has just awaked and told me about the wanderers and how you need to find your mate for you wolf to awaken."
"Oh OK well all werewolves are connected to their wolves that's how we have fast reflex's, good eye sight and hearing and can partially change but that connect only solidifys when we find our other half our mate. Some weres can fully change into there wolves."
"Like your sister" Scott stated
"But like me her mate died." Derek said "and to answer your question I can hear my wolf still. That's why after I meet Paige I was able to control my wolf better"
And I can do the same for you but first you need to ask Kira if she can do a two way blood transfusion with Rosa
What? Why?
Because she is the only kitsuna in the room and you will need to do it at the same time but warn Kira that she go thought they change
Wait as in she may turn into a wolf
