I sat on the bed watching Normani as she walked around the room, making sure she had everything. She had music coming from a speaker that sat in the window.

My eyes were following her every move and I couldn't help but smile every time she went to get something then immediately turning around again when she forgot she was already fetching something else. Sometimes she'd catch my eye and smile before going back to picking stuff up and putting it away.

The rest were probably doing the same. Or so I thought.

I heard whispering near the door but didn't see anything when I looked. My eyes soon landed on Normani again who didn't seem to notice a thing. She sang softly to the song that was playing and I smiled again.

Then there was laughing and Dinah and Lauren came into view, Dinah's phone in her hand.

"Don't have anything better to do Anna?" Lauren smirked.

My eyes never left Normani. "Nope."

Normani just shook her head and smiled, looking at the item in her hand, then kept walking around.

Dinah jumped on the bed with me, making me move up and down with the mattress.

"Dinah." Normani groaned. "I just made the bed."

"Anna's sitting on it!" Dinah argued.

"Well, maybe I just like her more than you then." She shot back with a glare. Lauren laughed and Normani looked at her. "What?"

"Nothing." Lauren said but was still giggling.

"What?" Normani insisted, the smile long gone from her face now.

"It's just obvious that that's true." Lauren raised an eyebrow and I grinned.

"You liiike me." I teased and Normani looked at me, amusement in her eyes.

"You're my girlfriend, I have to like you." She said, using the same thing I said to her yesterday when I took her clothes.

I tried to look at her sternly but it was hard to do anything but smile. Lauren mumbled something and my attention fell on her again.

"What?" I asked like Normani.

She ignored me. "I have to keep packing."

"Me too." Dinah said and caught up to Lauren. They walked out the door together and I only caught a few words that were being shared between them. Something about official and whipped cream or something.

Normani rolled her eyes as she looked after them. "You have to stop that."

"Shut up." She said and joined me on the bed. "You do it too."

"You're a bad influence." I said back to her.

"Yeah? You too." She poked my side making me squirm. "Next thing you know, I'll be outside of dominos with my ass hanging out."

"Hey!" I laughed and Normani joined me. "Well, I wouldn't mind."

Normani hit my arm but kept laughing. "Yeah, you'd like that wouldn't you?"

I just kept laughing because... she really had no idea how much I'd like to and it was a miracle that she never caught me staring at her ass.

"Okay, calm down, it wasn't that funny." She nudged me as I tried to catch my breath.

I shook my head and wiped my eyes, still letting giggles fall out of my mouth. When I finally calmed down, I noticed Normani staring at me with a small smile on her face. "What?" I asked with a smile.

Normani shook her head. "You need to fix your humor." She smirked.

"My humor is just fine, thank you very much." I huffed. "Maybe you just need to get on my level."

"If you say so." She smiled and nudged her shoulder with mine then stood up and pulled out a backpack. I just let out a subtle sigh and kept watching her, trying to savor our last moments together.

----

I stood to the side as Ally and Andrea checked the suitcases in the foyer. Normani was hauling her last one down the stairs.

"Normani, can you take the suitcases out to the car?" Andrea asked her. Normani groaned as she got to the bottom of the stairs. "Anna, can you help her?" She directed at me.

"Of course." I smiled and grabbed two and headed outside. The sun was about to set and the rays were almost soft, creating golden hues on my skin. I opened the trunk to the car.

"You need help?" Normani asked me.

"No." I laughed and picked one of the suitcases up, sliding it in the back. "I'm strong." I huffed as I went to pick the other one up.

"So strong." Normani laughed and helped me with the other one then picked her own up with ease.

"Normani." I whined. "I could do it myself."

She just grinned. "There's one more inside, you can have it."

"Thank you." I said sarcastically as we made our way back inside. I grabbed the suitcase and cursed internally when it was heavier than the other. "What the fuck is in this thing?" I muttered as I passed Normani and she laughed. I managed to drag it outside and put it in the car with the others. Then I saw everyone hugging when I went back inside.

Ally hugged me first. "I guess I'll see you next year Anna." She smiled.

I groaned. "Don't say it like that." I laughed as I pulled away. Then I was pulled into Andrea's embrace. I smiled.

"Take care of yourself, okay?" She said to me. "And if there is anything you call me."

"I will." I nodded against her shoulder.

She squeezed me once before joining Ally outside along with Clara and Sinuhe, who were going to drive them to the airport.

I sighed as I walked up to Normani. She was stood a little further inside the house so you could see inside the living room. She gave me a small smile. But it wasn't like her usual smiles. It didn't reach her eyes. I reciprocated the smile and wrapped my arms around her neck and my head found her shoulder.

I felt her breath next to my hear as her arms found their way around my waist. I pulled back so I was looking at her face. "We'll see each other in a month." I spoke softly and played with the hairs at the back of her neck.

She shivered and that caused me to smile. "I know." She smiled then and this one was more genuine than the other. She moved her hands so she was grabbing my waist softly, her thumbs stroking my sides.

"And you'll be in Iceland. With me." I grinned. "That's something to look forward to."

"Who says I'm not looking forward to getting a break from you?" She raised an eyebrow and my smile fell. She laughed and pulled me closer to her.

"Now I'm looking forward to a break from you." I teased.

"Glad we're on the same page." She said softly and I felt a tug at my heart, because I'd miss that voice so much. My head had found its way back to he shoulder and my eyes were closed as I just tried to enjoy the feeling of being there.

It wasn't until I heard a rustle that I opened my eyes and looked inside the living room. I held in a laugh. Dinah and Lauren were behind one of the couches. They probably thought I couldn't see them but the glass cabinet on the other side of the room gave me a clear view. And when I saw Dinah raise her phone to record us, a great idea popped into my head. I could use this to my advantage.

I pulled away slightly, making sure our bodies were still flush together, my arms still locked firmly around her neck. "Yaknow..." I said softly as my nose touched hers.

"Hmm?" She hummed softly as her eyes fell down to my lips, mine doing the same.

"I'll really miss you." I breathed out.

"I thought you wanted a break from me." She whispered and my lips twitched upwards.

"Just kiss me." I whispered and she did. I sighed as I tightened my arms around her neck and pulled her closer to me, thankful that she didn't question my words.

I heard the girls gasp behind the sofa and Dinah's shocked voice saying: "I didn't know they were gonna kiss!" And Lauren giggled.

But I just ignored them and parted my lips slightly, breathing in Normani's air and tasting her. I had been wanting to do this since we last kissed on the beach. I just had to make it worth it, to make it be enough until I had the chance to kiss her again.

My head tilted slightly to the side and I let out a soft murmur as I felt Normani's hands slide slowly up my back.

"And they just keep going." I heard Lauren mutter.

"What's going on?" I heard Camila's voice as she entered the living room from the bathroom. Then a thud and an "ow!"

"Be quiet." Dinah hissed.

"Why are you behind the couch?" Camila ignored her. "Are they kissing?!" She whispered.

"What does it look like Camz?"

I liked hugging and I liked touching and I liked kissing and I liked Normani. So when everything was combined, our bodies pressed together, our chests rising in sync and our lips moving slowly together. It felt like everything this should be. Just pure bliss and happiness.

Then Normani pulled back slightly. "I'll miss you too." She breathed against my lips and I smiled and kissed her again. Just one, last, soft press of my lips against hers. When I pulled away, Normani had a smile on her face.

"Finally!" Dinah groaned and stood up from behind the couch, stretching her back. She then grabbed her phone and started pressing some keys. "I should be getting paid as much as that date planner of yours." She muttered.

Normani had turned her head and was now looking at the girls, her eyebrows furrowed and the smile gone from her face. Then she muttered an small "oh" and looked back at me.

"What?" I asked her.

"Nothing." She said.

I just shook my head and grabbed her cheeks, and kissed her softly for the final time. And then that goofy smile was back.

Right after, a car horn was heard, and I knew that that meant Normani had to go.

"Go." I pushed her slightly away from me and smiled.

"Talk to you when I land." She still had that smile on her face. "See you in Iceland."

"I'll see you in Iceland." I smiled. And, just like that, she took a few steps away from me, grabbed her backpack, and left.

I sighed and turned and faced the girls. "You so better have gotten a good video." I said to Dinah as I grabbed her phone out of her hands.

"Oh shut up Anna, it's not like you didn't want to kiss her anyways." Lauren smirked and I rolled my eyes. Normani really was rubbing off on me.

"I don't know what world you live in but..." I trailed off and handed Dinah her phone back. I then stood up and went into Normani's room. It felt weirdly empty, which was weird because everything was the same. Except Normani wasn't there.

I sat down on the bed and let my eyes wander around the room. Then they landed on her closet and I smiled to myself.

Ten minutes later, Lauren, Dinah and Camila had walked into the room to find me in Normani's closet, trying to decide what I could take until I met her again.

"Does she care for this?" I asked as I held up some sweater.

"She doesn't have an emotional attachment to it if that's what you mean." Lauren said and leaned on the doorway.

I just nodded and picked up a graphic t-shirt. "What about this?"

"No." Lauren shook her head. "Why are you asking?"

"No reason." I smiled innocently as I bent down to look at her pants. I then heard a click and I looked up and saw Dinah had taken a photo of me. "No, don't post that."

"Too late." Dinah smirked and I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw the photo of me, in the closet, with Normani's clothes in my hand, and the caption "Not even gone for 10 minutes and she's already taking all your clothes @NormaniKordei get your girl."

Then my phone beeped with a text.

Normani: Leave my clothes alone.

And I couldn't help but smile.

A/N: A small, not-proofread chapter. Had trouble writing this tbh because barely nothing happens in this one. And the dialogue is really bad. Well, guess you're stuck with this.

Tell me what you think of this one and what you'd like to see happen.

Thanks and goodbye.

Also, my instagram is ii.a.p if y'all are interested.
