The man's strong hand tightly gripped around his neck!
Although Chen Yanyan was strong too, he couldn't do anything to fight back as one arm was tightly chained to the hospital bed while the other one was held by Diyu's strong grip to ensure he did nothing.

Just as he planned to pull back and blindly punch the man with his one good hand, he found the hand tightly wrapped around his neck suddenly loosen.
Diyu once again whispered in his ear. "My my, can't have you dying just yet."
Chen Yanyan immediately caught his breath as he desperately gasped in air.
Diyu: "No no, not after having miraculously survived a deadly car wreck... Yes a quick death would be much too simple."
The last words sent shivers down Chen Yanyan's spine as he faced the merciless man, every second that passed he felt closer and closer to an impending death.
How could he escape?
How could he live?!
The man wanted to kill his so what could he do!?!
His mind spun a thousand thoughts a second as he sought for an answer.
The stupid system wouldn't help him or even respond, he was alone, all alone.
He had to think up a solution on his own and quick or he would truly die, not only in this world but also in his own...
Chen Yanyan began to rigorously think. "Could I simply feign complete amnesia? Is that even an option...?"
No he couldn't be certain.
The system had already warned him about going OOC, so he couldn't be sure if feigning amnesia would interfere with his character and immediately make him fail the mission.
The one he wished to ask about such things was fast asleep!

Upon hearing Chen Yanyan's words Diyu's smile turned stiff.

Chen Yanyan's disposition remained timid as he looked up with confused eyes. "...Money? I don't- what you are referring to, boss-Ouch!" Suddenly he clutched his head in immense pain with his one handcuffed arm.

Chen Yanyan continued to clutch his head while his whole face winced in pain.
Diyu's hand once again went to Chen yanyan's neck, his eyes darkening. "You're nonsense is starting to get really annoying..."
This time his hand wrapped around tighter as it threatened to break him.
As the life was once again draining from Chen Yanyan he gasped to speak. "B-boss, what do you mean- I- I have always been loyal-"

Chen Yanyan blinked looking up with pure confusion, tears pooled out of his now red eyes from being deprived of air for so long.
With a shaky rough voice he pitifully whispered. "Boss I really don't know what you're talking... about-"
Just as he said this his gaze turned distracted to the outside window that showed pink orchids, instantly his gaze grew perplexed.
"Blossoms in July? But that's way too early..." He lightly whispered just loud enough for Diyu and his subordinates to hear. (AN: Orchids are a type of flower that only tend to bloom in fall, whether Diyu or the subordinates know this doesn't matter as Chen Yanyan is simply trying to get the point across that he doesn't remember what month it is)
Diyu looked down at Chen Yanyan, finally a hint of doubt entered his eyes.
Diyu: "Doctor."

Although she was beautiful, her presence was cold and deadly, she held an aura of see but don't touch. Without her white doctor's coat one wouldn't think she was the type of person to save lives, perhaps that's why she was the doctor to the Mafia...
