*Ellie's POV*

Demi ended up writing a killer song. It was full of confidence, strength, and prevail.

That night, she ended up coming to bed at a decent hour, insisting we celebrate my promotion the best way she knows how; her head in between my thighs, tongue dancing flawlessly.

The following day, Demi scheduled a dress appointment at Forever My Love, a high-end bridal boutique. Lucky enough, they had a last-minute cancelation for today, which Demi graciously filled.

Dallas promised Demi she would help her dress shop when the time came. Keeping her word to her baby sister, she got on a red-eye flight last night, the only one available on such brief notice. Dallas was beyond thrilled to accompany Demi on such a special occasion.

Throughout the workday, Demi bombarded my phone with very suggestive photos of herself, showing just mere inches of dozens of potential wedding dresses. From what little of each dress she captured in the photos, I can conclude she wants an extravagant dress, showing just the right amount of cleavage. I'm not surprised, to say the very least.

Dallas planned on staying at least two nights to make the trip worth it. It's very far and in between the Lovato sisters get to see each other.

By the time I got home from work, Dallas and Demi had returned from dress shopping. With the limited time Dallas has to spend in Los Angeles, Demi made dinner reservations for eight; herself, Natalie, Matt, Marissa, Hayley, Dallas, my sister, and me.

"Hi, baby." I greet, giving Demi a quick kiss on the lips. "Dallas." I embrace her in a longing hug.

"Did you pick a dress?" I ask, looking around the house to catch even a glimpse.

"Yes, I picked a dress. No, you can not see it."

I pout, disappointedly.

Dallas interjects. "What about you, Ellie? When are you going dress shopping?"

"Next week. Hayley and I made an appointment at a boutique downtown. I fell in love with one of their dresses online. I'm hoping they have it in stock for me to try on."

"What does it look like?" Demi asks.

I smirk. "Nice try, but if I have to wait to see your dress, you'll have to wait to see mine."

The three of us gather around the couch, a glass of wine in our hands as we discuss the fast-approaching wedding.

"Demi calls our weekly wedding planning from Jacqueline 'homework'". I tease, causing Dallas to laugh.

"Oh come on, weekly to-dos, deadlines, check-ins. I wouldn't be surprised if she grades our aesthetic and wedding vows at our reception." Dallas almost spits out her mouthful of wine on the white couch.

"What was your homework this week?"

"Figure out who will make up our bridal party."

"How does that work, with you both being brides? Do you both share the same bridal party?"

Demi and I can't help but laugh at Dallas' question. "Demi and I will have our own maid of honor and bridesmaids."

"What about your bachelorette party? Is there one party for the both of you or is that separate too?"

"It can be whatever we want it to be, but I guess that would be up to our bridal party and if they wanted to combine them or not."

"Unless you both want to watch each other receive lap dances from sexy strippers, I suggest having separate parties," Dallas suggests with a knowing smirk on her face. My eyes go wide as I turn to Demi, watching the blush rise to her cheeks immediately. Knowing how jealous Demi and I can be, I make a mental note to bring up the idea of separate bachelor parties to our bridal parties.

Before I know it, it's after six o'clock and I'm taking a right turn onto Sunset Boulevard, with Demi in the passenger seat and Dallas in the back seat. The sun is setting behind a few palm trees, illuminating the sky with radiant blues and pinks. It is breathtaking.

Pulling into Giacomo's, I recognize Marissa's Tesla parked in the second row. I pull up beside it, resting my arm behind the passenger headrest and back into the space next to Marissa's car. I watch Demi not-so-subtly lick her bottom lip before taking it between her teeth. Something about the way I confidently and successfully drive and park turns her on. Boy, do I excite her every chance I get.

I grab a large blue and white reusable bag from my trunk, careful not to drop it, or the boxes inside of it.

Dallas gives me a questioning look, but Demi pulls her by the arm and into the restaurant before Dallas can interrogate me.

We follow the hostess to our table, where Marissa, Hayley, and Natalie are sitting. They each embrace us in longing hugs as if they hadn't seen us in forever.

As Hayley and I break apart from our hug, I notice my sister Gracie walking towards us. I push past Hayley and the rest of our friends as I speed walk through the rows of occupied tables as best as I can in heels. I wrap my arms around her neck with a little too much force, causing her to stumble backward, my arms still wrapped around her neck. Her arms around my waist loosen after a few seconds, only for mine to wrap tighter around her.

"I. Can't. Breathe." She mutters out. I give, unwrapping my arms around her neck. I pull back as I study her. She's still dressed in her uniform. Did I mention she's a flight attendant? Between her demanding job and the fact she takes advantage of her free flights during her off days to photograph the world, it's no surprise we lost touch. We pick up where we left off like no time's passed.

It's not long before the eight of us are sitting around the table, sipping from a bottle of red that costs more than my monthly car insurance. We most likely won't be together in the same room until Demi and I's wedding. Therefore, 200 dollar wine is acceptable and so delicious.

All eyes are on my sister as she tells unbelievable stories of being a flight attendant. I run my hand along Demi's thigh for attention. She jumps beneath my touch until her hand rests on top of mine. She turns her head, her eyes captivating mine. The lights from the chandelier above our table radiate against her brown eyes, making them lighter.

Demi leans in, letting her lips brush against my earlobe, and I shiver. "Let's tell them about Isabella."

I turn to face her, her lips mere millimeters away from my own. "Really? Are you sure?" I ask.

"Absolutely," Demi says, kissing my lips all too quick for my liking.

We converse throughout dinner as conversations bounce between topics and storytellers. Marissa and Hayley are going back and forth between who's gotten asked the most outrageous questions while working at a restaurant.

So far my favorite is Hayley's customer who asked for no ice in his water because he didn't want to pay extra for it.

"What about you, Ellie? Do you have any crazy stories?" Hayley asks.

I shake my head no. "I only worked there a few months." Demi snakes her hand to intertwine with mine, giving me a supportive smile.

"I-I have something crazy to tell you guys though," I say. Everyone turns their attention to me and Demi rubs the back of my hand soothingly with her thumb.

"Demi and I are going to be parents," I announce. An uproar of cheers and screams fills the air. Matt flags our server down, ordering a round of shots for everyone in celebration.

"So are one of you pregnant?" Natalie asks, causing Demi to choke on a sip of the expensive wine.

"Oh, God no. We are adopting." I interject.

"Maybe sometime down the line. But not right now." Demi says, making my head turn. My lips curl into a smile. Did she just- does she want- more kids?

As the excitement dies down, Demi stands up, running her fingers over her dress to smooth out any wrinkles. Walking behind me, she uses both hands to pick up the bag I carried in earlier, laying it on her chair.

Demi distributes her boxes to Dallas, Natalie and Matt before letting me distribute mine to Hayley, Gracie and Marissa. We wrapped each white box in gold ribbon and wrote everyone's name in cursive gold ink. Anticipation grows as the realization of what's inside the box hits everyone. Demi returns to her seat before giving everyone the green light to open their box.

Everyone eagerly unties the gold ribbon holding their box closed. The boxes were identical, except for the personalized handwritten note.

A notecard saying 'I couldn't say I Do without you by my side' rests against the items, being the first thing seen.

Moving the notecard aside, an expensive bottle of champagne and flute glass with our wedding date engraved sits beside a box of chocolate hearts.

Beneath is a custom gold robe, folded neatly to display their role in our bridal party in cursive.

Dallas looks up from her box, teary eyes meeting Demi's. "You want me to be your maid of honor?" She asks, finding it almost too hard to believe.

Letting a tear fall down her cheek, Demi nods her head yes.

Hayley locks eyes with me, tears filling her eyes as well, mouthing a 'thank you'.

"Bridesman? Do I have to wear a dress because I've been killing leg day at the gym?" Matt says causing everyone to laugh.

It's almost midnight by the time Dallas, Demi, and I make it back to our house. We wish each other a good night before going our separate ways; Dallas to the guest room, Demi and I to our room.

I watch with mesmerizing eyes as Demi stands in front of her dresser, stripping out of her dress, letting it pool at her feet while she rummages through her sleepwear drawer, finding a matching shirt and shorts set. Since I've moved in, I think I've only seen her wear something from that drawer when her monthly friend comes to visit. Other than that, Demi settles for underwear or goes commando; not that I'm complaining.

She goes to the bathroom and I take the time to get changed as well. Demi comes back with her hair in a messy bun and freshly applied moisturizer to her now makeup-less face. She places her rings in her jewelry chest before slipping into bed beside me.

"Did you mean what you said before about kids?" It's been on my mind since she said it hours ago at the restaurant.

"About wanting more kids in the future?" She asks. I nod my head. "I would love to have more kids."

"Do you want to carry a baby?" I ask. Not that any of what we talk about will happen soon. However, if Demi and I are going to get married and start a family, It's better to know how she feels about such important topics now rather than five years into our marriage.

She shrugs her shoulders, adjusting her pillow to lean against the headboard comfortably. "I always pictured myself in a heterosexual relationship so yes, being pregnant and having kids is something I've thought about."

"And now with the knowledge of knowing you're in a homosexual relationship, do you still feel the same way?" I hope she doesn't see my series of questions as anything but curiosity.

Demi pulls me closer, her hands slipping under my shirt, lightly grazing my hips with her fingertips. "With you? Absolutely."

______________________________

Hi, lovelies.

This chapter is only 2,000 words but I get off work in ten minutes and wanted to post before I go home.

I'm thinking about writing a Non-Binary Demi Lovato Romance Fanfiction. I have a general plot idea but worried it's lame. If anyone wants to collaborate or just hear my ideas and give me some ideas to incorporate into the story, message me!

I would love to start writing it within a month or two depending on how fast I finish this story. I currently have 2 part-time jobs and do Karate 3 days a week so I'm sorry it's taking me so long to write these chapters. But they are no longer rewrites and they are full-on new chapters so it takes me a few hours to write each chapter and revise them.

Thank you for reading! Make sure to let me know how you like the story!
