6 Years later in Tail
I was riding along the desert sands heading to my next destination. Your probably wondering where that is and i can tell you. All these years I have been searching for the last dragon. I know its a bit of a longshot but I have to try, i have to bring back my people. I've been to every river end except one. The last river end is my final destination!
"Please let this be it" I mumbled as I saw the river up ahead. I jumped off the back of my lion and started to walk along side the tiny river
"6 years of searching and we end up at a literally shipwreck. That's not a bad sign is it?" I asked as I walked into the shipwreck to follow the flow of the water. Just then I heard noises from outside the shipwreck.
"Quickly hide" I whispered to my lion as we both hid behind a large plank of wood. I peered over the edge to see who was there, but i couldn't see anyone. Suddenly footsteps echoed around the wreck, the cape of the person trailed behind in the sand. Their brown hair flowed in the little wind that passed through the desert. The mysterious figure sat down and started to light some candles. I quickly moved my position to get a better look at the figure.
"raya" I whispered so she couldn't here me. Then she started talking
"I don't know if your listening, i've searched every river to find you and now i'm here at the very last one. Look there's not a lot of us left and we really, really need your help. If i can be honest I really need your help. I made a mistake I trusted someone I shouldn't have and now the world's broken. I lost someone close to me and now I don't know what to do. Sisu I just really want my pa and my friend back, please" Raya spoke as she started the ritual
"Nice speech, but there are a few mistakes in it" I spoke up as I revealed myself
"Who are you?" Raya asked
"I am hurt! you don't even remember an old friend" I sarcastically responded
"Sakiya?" Raya asked with hope in her eyes
"The one and only" I said revealing myself from the shadows by stepping in front of her
"SAKIYA! it's really you" Raya shouted as she pulled me into a hug "I missed you" she said
"I missed you too Raya and it seems we've been after the same thing all along" I chuckled slightly. "This is also the last river on my map" I explained
"Really?" Raya questioned
"Yeh but um looks like this is definitely the right place" I said as i pointed to the floating water bubbles
"Woh" I said as the dragon appeared
"OH my, where am i? Pengu? Apba? Prani? are you here?"
"Oh might Sisu" Me and Raya said as once as we bowed down to the dragon
"WHO SAID THAT?" The dragon spun around in confusion knocking Raya over using her tail
"Urgah" Raya mumbled as she got pushed down to the floor
"HELLO?, hello??" Raya made some muffled in pain noises "Oh sorry I didn't see your there! Not to bad just a little dusty, let me get that for you" The dragon said as she picked up Raya by the feet and started patting her down
"You are SISU" Raya explained
"And your people!, what's your name?" the dragon asked
"OH right it's Raya and that's Sakiya" Raya said as she pointed to me
"hi" I waved at the dragon
"Nice to meet you both and you two are not made of stone, which means...."
"IT WORKED" we all shouted at once
"We did it! Do you hear that PENGU, IT WORKED!!!I didn't mess it up. Is that food?" the dragon dropped Raya "I was so busy saving the world i forgot to have breakfast today" she exclaimed
"Today?" I asked confused "When do you think today is exactly?"
"Tuesday" Sisu responded as she rummaged through Rayas pouch. The dragon then pulled out a slightly yellow jerky thing and took a bit out of it.
"What is this delightful culinary treat?"
"Uhm jack fruit jerky, i dried it myself" Raya said
"Well compliments to the chef, wanna finish this skippy" Sisu whispered to the tuk tuk who turned his nose up at it
"Sisu, there are a few things we need to catch you up on"
"Oh yeh" she said as we started to explain past events of the gem breaking and the drune being released again
"YAH BROKE IT?!!!" She shouted in a panic "Oh, OH this is bad, this is very bad. I've been asleep for 500 years, you brought back the dune and none of my brothers or sisters returned. WHY DIDN'T THEY RETURN?!"
"Um we don't know" I replied
"Also you BROKE THE GEM!"
"We still have two big chunks of it" Raya implied showing our gem pieces
"Is that supposed to make me feel better? If you lost a puppy and i said well we still have a big chunk of it, would that make you feel better?" she asked
"Can't you just make another one?" I asked
"No i can't just make another one"
"But your a dragon?!" Raya said pointing out the obvious
"I'm gonna be real with you, i'm not like the best dragon ya know" She nervously said
"But you saved the world!" I added
"YES, yes i did do that but have you ever done a group project and there's that one kid who didn't pitch in as much but still got the same grade. Yeh I wasn't the one who actually made the gem I just handed it in" Sisu explained as she picked up the gem. Suddenly her fur turned a bright blue colour
"Your glowing" I stated
"Aw thank you, I use aloe and river slime to maintain my..." Sisu started to explain before Raya cut in
"No look" She pointed at her fur
"This, this is my little sister Apba's magic! I got the glow!" Sisu jumped around excitedly
"Little sisters magic?" Raya asked
"Every dragon has a unique magic"
"Ok, ok whats yours" I asked
"I'm a really strong swimmer" She said
"Wait, you touched this gem piece and it gave you powers. Do you know what this means!" Raya said
"I no longer need a nightlight?" Sisu asked
"What? no! your still connected to the gems magic, that means you can still use it to save the world. If we can get all the other gems pieces then we can reassemble it and boooom the drune away"
"And bring our pa's back?!" Raya said as i placed a hand on her shoulder
"And bring all of Kumandra back"
"Great, let's get going then!" I shouted as we saddled up our animals and rode away together
----Back in the desert-----
Namaari and her guards were surveying the area, trying to find Raya after she stole their dragon scroll.
"She's as good as stone out here" One of the guards commented
"Enough, she's escaped before and she can do it again!" Namaari shouted back silencing the guards
"Princess there's something in the sand" one of the guards said pointing to a gold object half buried infront of them
"Sakiya?"
