srry just something dumb I've been thinking of for a "bad end" version of rewrite that was inspired by a version of Mal that is...pretty much still evil. in this Mal really doesn't learn anything and ends up somehow overthrowing Ben and taking control of Auradon as a tyrant (attempting to murder (y/n)/send her back home in the process because (y/n) is kinda a end all be all person in this universe being immune to magic and all and (y/n) pulls a technoblade like "(y/n) never dies mutha fuka!") anyway the art is kinda a thing where (y/n) is walking toward the final battle with Mal with Mal's blood dipping down her blade..
yeah so this is a thing in my brain

Rewrite Bad end concept clip
"Ben the thing is" (y/n) sighed as she looked away from Ben towards the smoking remains of Auradon "you're using words with Mal to try to get this situation back on our side, but the thing about this world Ben" she glanced back at Ben, her grip on her cutlass tight as Ben looked at her with pain filled eyes
"is that the only universal language is violence, and we've had that conversation. we've spoken that language, on the isle. Auradon's time is over Ben," she walked away from him towards Uma, Harry, and Gil who faced away from Auradon and towards the large ship that Uma had conjured up" onto a new day, a new plot" she stepped in-between Uma and Harry, glancing back towards Ben with a somber smile "to destroy Auradon."
uhhh yeah here's another thing from the "Bad End rewrite" that's been in my brain for a bit...yeah again most of this au is inspired by the dream smp and "true defender" fic that one of my tumblr mutuals made because i cant help myself and my brain is like this im sorry
i was going to do more concept art but the one i was doing i lost steam on real quick so here's how far i got with it.

Rewrite "Bad end" au concept clip
*knight Audrey concept that i made months ago that will be used again for this au*
Audrey stumbled through the enchanted forest, trying to just get away from the horrifying screams that echoed in her ears. her fathers sword in one hand and his shield in the other, she hardly knew how to use them but Jane had thrown them at her as they went to retrieve fairy godmothers wand in an effort to stop Mal.
Audrey was the only one who had made it out of that museum with her mind still her own, Mal had intercepted just as Janes hand wrapped around the wands handle and now Jane was under Mal's influence. Audrey had slammed the shield into both of them so she could escape with her free will.
Audrey let out a small scream as an uprooted root tripped her and she slammed her chin into the dirt. she let out a small sob and released her grip on the sword, she gently pushed herself up as the sting of pain ebbing from her chin made her wince. she slumped to sit on her butt and looked up at the sky, sniffing as she realized the stars were gone.
what was she going to do? she didn't know how to even swing the damn sword, Chad was turned to stone, her parents were asleep, Mal had "turned" Evil, most of the people she knew could stop Mal she had no clue where they were, Ben was missing, and (y/n)....(y/n) had disappeared a long time ago.
Audrey bit her lip at the memory of when Mal had announced she had killed the only girl that had stood by her side when Mal had spelled Ben, the only girl in Auradon, other than herself, that constantly called Mal on her bullshit.
and now she was gone.
Audrey took a deep breath and stood, leaning down slightly to grab her fathers sword and continued to walk through the darkening forest, glaring a bit as it became harder and harder to see where she was going.
her head snapped to the side and she held the sword out infront of her as the loud snap of a branch echoed from her right. "who-whos there!" Audrey yelled out, forcing her voice to keep steady as her legs shook, what she wouldn't give for that bravery that her "queen of mean" self had. "i warn you im-im..." her arm dropped as the familiar laughter of someone she had thought was gone came forward, a grin wide on their face.
"what's wrong princess" (y/n) purred, the scar on her lips and nose doing nothing to dim the warmness that was on her face as she looked at Audrey "you look like you've seen a ghost"
Audrey let out a low sob and dropped her sword, the sheild slipping off her arm as she ran towards (y/n) with her arms spread wide. (y/n) easily caught her and curled her arms around Audrey's shoulders, cooing gently as she tried to calm the hysteric princess "hey hey, im sorry, bad joke i know" Audrey just buried her face into (y/n)s shoulder, pressing her cheek against the cold metal of (y/n)s armor...wait armor?
Audrey pulled back and laughed a bit at (y/n)s attire, it was different from when Audrey had last seen her. now (y/n) wore a edited version of Harrys scarlet jacket, hanging off her shoulders by a gold chain connecting the lapels at her collar and two silver-purple shoulder pads weighing the jacket down. a white button down shirt that billowed at the sleeves and lower torso, black pants with gold chains around her waist with one of Harrys old belts hanging off her hips. arm guards the same material as her shoulder pads covered her forearms and knuckles, and calf high combat boots fitted over her pants "i can see that my outfit is awesome as fuck but we need to go Audrey" (y/n) hushed Audrey as she was about to protest and grabbed her hand and pushed her back towards the sword and shield "grab those and then we'll head back to my base, we need to get out of Mals range as soon as possible"
Audrey nodded and ran back to the gear she had dropped, quickly picking them up and following after (y/n) as she spun on her heel and walked off into the darkness of the enchanted forest "wait (y/n)!" Audrey panted as she caught up with (y/n)s speed walking. "have you seen anybody else? like, Harry? or Evie?"
(y/n)s silence answered her question "oh...do-do you know"
"i don't" (y/n) muttered, her fists clenching "i haven't seen anyone since...well i think you know what happened" Audrey grit her teeth slightly at the reminder "but im sure they are okay, we'll find them soon, right now our objective is to get back to base" Audrey finally asked where the base was. "the one place Mal wouldn't think to look."

yep...more concept stuff for bad end rewrite heh, again inspired by "true defender" and the dream smp.
so Audrey will be the first to find (y/n) after Mal takes over (and yes Mal did "broadcast" the fact that she "killed" (y/n) *y/n: say that again you bitch* ) and (y/n) starts training her on how to use her fathers gear because highkey while i love the idea that Audrey is trained in using swords n shit like that, i have a feeling Leah wouldn't let her precious granddaughter use such "unladylike" weapons'
(also might be working up some concept sketches for outfits for the "mc"s of this au. *guess which boss ass bitch is gonna get the trident~*)

the look might change as i develop this au a bit (i dunno if itll turn into a whole thing yet but ill def be working on concept fic clips and art until i loose interest)
I've also figured out how (y/n) survives the murder attempt; i remembered that the ruby necklace (y/n) has protects the wearer against evil magic and Mal uses magic to "Kill" (y/n) so she ends up surviving the attempt through that (Mal uses an magic conjured sword to kill her so while (y/n) is immune to magic a sword through the chest can do a lot of damage)

Rewrite "Bad end" AU concept - Final battle
(y/n) watched as the purple smoke of Mal's transformation magic rose slowly into the sky, keeping the grip on her cutlass tight as the screeching roar of a dragon rang out through the courtyard.
(y/n) took a deep breath and rubbed her palm against her lip, smudging the blood and dirt that sat there. (y/n) grinned slightly as Mal finally unfurled her wings and dissipated the smoke, her sickly green neon eyes staring down at her.
"come on Mal!" (y/n) yelled, flipping her cutlass in her palm and pointing the blade at the dragon "lets finish this once and for all!"
Mal let out another screech and breathed a tunnel of fire at (y/n), who brought her armor-clad arm up and blocked the blow "your fire counts as magic you dimwit!" (y/n) chuckled, jumping to the side out of the fire tunnel and running towards Mal "fight me for real!"

so (y/n) is not planned to be the big hero of the story (aka the person who defeats mal) she's just supposed to be the one that helps the rebellion against Mal get on its feet and essentially be its leader. the role of the final hero is someone who Mal has fucked over quite a bit and it will be kinda poetic for them to give Mal the final blow

Uma "bad end" Rewrite concept
"how, how in the hell did you get that?!"
(y/n) smirked and pushed the golden trident into Uma's hands "I used to steal fgs wand for fun, it wasn't that hard to get it"

So this is Uma's concept. (y/n) gets the trident before Mal either gets her hands on it to either use it or destroy it and keeps it until she could hand it off to Uma.
still working up the sea threes outfits for this au, but i know i want Uma to look similar to a navel captain/royalty.

so this was all just a bunch of stuff that I've posted on my tumblr about a concept of an AU of Rewrite- part of your world where it has a "bad end" basically where Mal doesn't learn shit and stays Evil and manipulative as fuck.
