-Jasmine’s POV-
I couldn't believe that bitch! Excuse my language. The way Suzy just came up to Jacob asking all superior, was nauseating. I mean, they obviously knew each other, but I wonder how. As soon as Suzy left the entire table looked at Jacob with raised eyebrows.
“What?” he questioned us innocently and drank his Gatorade. I wanted to strangle him for being so oblivious.
“That was one of the two….DEVILS” Marissa shouted and I flinched at her bluntness. As soon as the sentence exited her mouth, Jacob’s drink that was in his mouth went flying across the table. I looked over at him in surprise. He had a face filled with worry, surprise, shock and most importantly guilt. Why would he be guilty?
“EW MAN!” Matt exclaimed, his face covered in blue beverage.
“Sorry” Jacob said with a grimace and handed him a napkin.
“What’s up with you?” I questioned him with a raised eyebrow and he gulped
“N-n-othing” Jacob stuttered obviously nervous
“Ok” I said my voice showing how much I disbelieved him. Jacob looked away quickly and started packing his lunch up.
“Where are you going dude?” Matt asked him while munching on his pizza.
“Uh, I’m not feeling to good. I’m gonna go home and rest….or something” Jacob said and put his hand on his stomach for emphasizes. Really? He seemed fine before Suzy came around. Something seemed fishy, I think he’s hiding something from me.
“Aw, really? I can come with you and make my famous soup” I said as enthusiastic as I could
“Uh, NO! Really. I don't want you getting sick too. It could-uh, BE CONTAGIOUS!” he said with wide eyes. Yep! Definitely hiding something.
“Are you suuuure?” I drawled even though I knew he wouldn't let me come
“Yes, I’m absolutely, positively sure!” he assured me and I saw Marissa scoff, Matt snort and Rachel snicker softly.
“Ok….” I said with raised eyebrows and he nodded quick before practically running out of the lunchroom.
“Is it just me or do I smell something fishy?” Rachel said raising her hand jokingly
“It’s just you” Christy said and starting laughing at Rachel’s glare
“Just kidding...I smell it too” she said putting her hands up in defense
“Yeah, he couldn't have been more obvious. This dumb ass!” Marissa said while shaking her head.
“Yeah. He is so stupid” Matt said while sighing dramatically
“No, you're stupid” Dill said to him and Matt playfully glared at her. Sean reached across the table and high-fived Dill.
“Dude, you just got buuurned” Sean said and laughed
“Excuse me!” he told her putting his hand on his chest mocking hurt.
“You heard me” Dill said and turned to finish drinking her water while Matt was just staring at her with a gaping mouth.
“Anywaayss, back to this problem” I drawled causing all my friends to look at me.
“Maybe Matt, Ash and I can go over to his house for a ‘bros night’ and see if we can find out anything?” Peter suggested. Peter, Matt and even Ash have all gained a pretty close friendship with Jacob now that Jacob and I were dating, so they were all pretty close. He wouldn't suspect anything.
“Ok. You can do that” I said and he nodded
“Ok” Matt said and drank his milk. Ew! Milk and pizza? Gross.
“Sure” Ash shrugged
“Why not?” Sean agreed and pulled Christy closer to him, since he had his arm around her waist.
“Ok! Great!” I exclaimed
“Sleep over at my house, guys?” I asked and Dill, Marissa, Christy and Rachel nodded
“Wait a sec…” Ash said and we all looked at him. He looked really concentrated and it made him look really constipated.
“OH I GOT IT!” Ash suddenly exclaimed after we stared at him for a full 2 minutes
“Well…?” Rachel poked him since they were sitting next to each other. He didn't ask her out yet, but he told me was going to soon.
“Oh right…” he said sheepishly and she raised her eyebrow urging him to continue
“So, my cousin has these cool things. Ya know he likes to make stuff and...stuff. Anyways, he has this thing and they're like mini cameras. I’ll hook it up to your computer and when we go over to Jacob’s room we’ll hide a camera somewhere in his room or something. Then you'll be next door, since your having a sleepover and you’ll be able to go on your computer and see what we're doing and hear what we’re talking about!” he explained
“Oh my god! That would be so cool!” Marissa yelled with wide eyes and I chuckled
“Nooo, that would be creepy. We would be like...stalkers!” Dill countered and Marissa frowned
“You're no fun” Marissa told Dill and Dill rolled her eyes
“Oh come on Dill! We have to do this! It will be so cool and fun!” Rachel begged and Dill pursed her lips
“Come on!” Christy said
“Please” I said with a puppy face and then we were all making a puppy face. Matt’s looked ridiculous, Peter’s looked like he was about to vomit, and Sean looked like he was going cry.
“Fine!” Dill said exasperated and we all clapped our hands. Time for action!

- Jacob’s POV -
I felt so bad when I lied to Jasmine and left lunch, but I had to. I had to clear my mind. How can I tell her this?! She won't look at me the way she does now, or even worse, she’ll hate me. I won't let the happen. As soon as I got home I grabbed my song book and wrote down all my feelings. Soon enough, it was transformed into a song. Strumming my guitar I started singing the finished product.
(AN: I don't own the lyrics to the song "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. I changed one line in the song which was originally "Today is where your book begins" to "Today is where the shades end".)

After finishing I walked downstairs with a heavy mind. Maybe some Vampire Diaries can clear my mind. 5 episodes later I hear the doorbell ring. Oh no! What if it’s Jasmine?! I’m not ready to face her yet because I fear I’ll just blurt of my secret. I get up from the couch and creep over to the front door. I peep through the window to see who it was. To my relief it was just Matt, Peter, Ash and Sean. Why are they doing here?
I walked over to the door and opened it with a confused face.
“Hey, what are you guys doing here?” I questioned
“Well, I thought it was time for a bro’s night!” Peter said and Matt passed me and just walked in the house.
“Uhhh, ok?” I said and they all came in
“So, uh, are we gonna be down here or in your room?” Ash asked a bit nervously
“Does it really matter?” I said seriously looking at Ash
“Of course it does! I mean we need to know where to open all this junk food!” Matt exclaimed
“Yeah” Ash said and chuckled shakily
“Oh, ok then. Lets stay right here” I said my suspicion dying down.
“Ok” Peter nodded and Sean took out 2 bags of doritos, 3 bags of takis, donuts, sour patches, fritos, ice cream, m&ms, beef jerky, potato chips, popcorn, rice krispies, pop tarts, ramen noodle soup, raisinets, pretzels and skittles.
“Jesus Christ! What did you buy? The whole snack aisle!” I yelled while looking at everything Sean just took out of the 5 Walgreen's plastic bag they came with.
“Don't be silly! We only both half of it!” Sean said and laughed while I was gaping at them
“We’re just kidding!” Peter said when he saw my face
“Sure..” I said and rolled my eyes
“Uh, I’m gonna put on the TV” Ash stated and got up
“Ok” I said and waved my hand
I watched as Ash walked over to the TV, put his hand in his pocket and I didn't really see him pull out anything. He put on the TV, and then looked around the TV. I watched as he started walking towards my mother’s fern plant that was next to the TV. Then he started feeling the leaves. What the fuck?!
“Uh, Ash what are you doing?” I asked looking at him weirdly
“Um, he isn't doing anything. What is he doing?” Matt said nervously as his eyes flickered back and forth from Ash to myself.
“He looks like he’s fucking feeling the leaves!” I yelled and looked at Ash
“Oh that! He’s uh doing a science project on…..uh a plant leave’s textures!” Peter spoke up and I looked over at him with raised eyebrows
“Oh, alright?” I asked a bit of suspicion still in my mind
“Alright. So what are we watching?” Sean asked changing the topic. I furrowed my eyebrows. Hmmm, why are they acting so suspicious?
- Jasmine’s POV-
“This dumb ass!” Marissa exclaimed when we watched on the computer how Ash decided to put the camera in a plant!
“I can practically smell Jacob’s suspiciousness” Rachel stated and I nodded
“Yeah, they’re so obvious!” Christy said
“Oh god! We are so gonna get caught!” Dill said nervously
“Relax, he won't be able to find the camera. It’s way too small” I said
“Ok” Dill said skeptically
“So dude why did you leave lunch today?” I heard Matt asked and everyone’s attention was back on the computer. Sean was chewing on some skittles, Peter was eating some potato chips, Matt was munching on some doritos and Jacob was throwing fritos in the air and trying to catch them in his mouth. He was epically failing by the way.
“What do you mean?” Jacob questioned nervousness radiating off of him.
“You’re obviously not sick..so what the hell man?” Peter said and Jacob sat up straight rubbing the back of his neck
“I don't know what you mean” Jacob said innocently and shrugged his shoulders. I rolled my eyes, suuuure you don't.
“Wow! This is like watching a soap opera!” Rachel said
“Yeah, it really is” Marissa nodded
“Shhhh” Christy said her eyes glued on the screen as she ate some popcorn and I laughed while turning back to the screen.
“Dude whatever it is you can tell us” Ash persistently said causing Jacob to sigh.
“It’s just...I feel terrible” Jacob said defeated. Terrible? Why?
“I’m keeping something from Jasmine” Jacob continued and my eyes widened. All my friends including me leaned forward anxiously to hear what he will say.
“What is it?” Sean asked
Jacob took a deep breath and said 6 words that shocked every part of my body.
“I lost my virginity to Suzy” he said with clenched fists and closed eyes
“WHAT!” Marissa shouted and fell back onto the bed
“Oh man” Dill said and looked over at me
“That was very surprising” Christy said with wide eyes
“That ass” Rachel whispered harshly
“Oh my god. How. What. I. Oh god.” I said not able to form coherent sentences. This was a major shock. I mean out of everyone in the world it had to be her. Why could Jacob lose something so special to his first girlfriend, or even a slut! Why Suzy?! Oh god!
“Are you ok?” Dill said and touched my arm
“I’m fine” I sharply and turned my attention back to the screen
“YOU WHAT!” Peter yelled and stood up
“OH MY GOD, HOW COULD YOU?!” Ash said with a red face
“OH JEEZ, WHY?” Sean questioned and run his hand down his face
“WHAT THE FUCK MAN! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT SHIT?” Matt said with his jaw ajar
“Wow their reactions were waaay better than ours” Christy said with a glance at me but I had a expressionless face.
“I’M SORRY OK! I WAS DRUNK, STUPID AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED! IT WAS TWO YEARS AGO, WE HAD TOO MUCH CHAMPAGNE AT ONE OF MY PARENTS BUSINESS BALLS AND NEXT THING I KNOW I WAKE UP WITH HER NAKED IN A HOTEL. NON PURE!” he shouted and tugged at his hair
All my friends looked at me after he finished his rant and I had a frown on my face. Two years ago? It wasn't possible for her to come back...for him was it? To be fair Jacob and we hated each other then, I couldn't really blame him. He didn't even know about her or what she had done at that time. I just wished he would've told me instead of running away today. But it’s not like he would go to her know, right? Yeah...he wouldn't cheat on me. At least I don't think he would…
“Dude, seriously? I mean she’s hot and all but I wouldn't go for that” Peter said and Marissa gasped
“THAT LITTLE SHIT!” she yelled and threw a pillow at the computer. Then as if remembering that we were watching his eyes widened.
“I m-mean s-she is ugly, like what did you see in her?” he said and chuckled nervously and glanced towards where the camera was.
“That’s better” Marissa said and folded her arms causing all of us to laugh at her.
“You have to tell Jasmine soon” Ash said sternly and I saw him take a glance towards where the camera was hidden.
“Yeah, I know. But what if her perspective on my changes?” Jacob whispered and I stared intently at the Jacob I saw on my computer screen. It won't Jacob, just tell me. I internally begged.
“I’m almost positive it won't” Sean answered and Jacob nodded solemnly
“One can only hope” Jacob said looking down
“I’ll tell her tomorrow” he said determined
“Good” Matt patted him on the back and nodded.
“Now what about some ramen soup?” Peter said and they all nodded and walked into the kitchen.
“Soooo, what are thinking?” Rachel asked carefully after Dill closed the computer
“I’m ok” I shrugged and they all looked at me shocked
“Your ok? If I was you I would've punched the guy in his balls!” Marissa exclaimed
“Really” I said with a disbelieving look on my face
“Ok….maybe not that extreme. But I wouldn't be ‘ok’” she mocked me
“Well that's you, this is me” I stated and started getting up and walking downstairs. I heard footsteps so I guess they were following me.
“She’s got a point” Dill said
“Fine” Marissa grumbled
“Sooo, you guys want something?” I said referring to the bag of chocolate bars we had bought when we went to the store with Ash, Peter, Matt and Sean.
“Sure” Christy shrugged and walked over to the bag
“You guys pick first” she said
“OK!” Rachel squealed and skipped over to where Christy and I was.
“I call hershey’s!” Dill yelled and ran over to us
“Why not?” Marissa said and walked over to us.
Dill, true to her words grabbed the hershey's bar, I took the snickers, Rachel took the kit-kat, Christy took an aero caramel, and Marissa took a twix bar. We all hopped on the couch ready to spend the night watching TV, and eating chocolate. But the only thing that was on my mind was Jacob and Suzy. Suzy kissing Jacob, touching Jacob, being with Jacob, sleeping with Jacob. I couldn't get them out of my mind.
