"She's doin' it again!" Vincent hissed, pointing at the sword on the table that was glowing. The lights were flickering around them and not just of their apartment. The lights of the entire street were flickering, people stopping to glance around wondering what was going on.

Rome asked, "What do you want me to do, Vin? Wake her up and say 'Hey. monkey! I know you are angry because we lied to you for ten years but can you keep your temper in check because it is causing all lights in the area to flicker. So just keep it down please?'"

Vincent sighed, running a hand across his face. The temperature of the apartment had risen to the point where even the air conditioner wasn't providing much relief. This was getting out of hand, and they had to do something about this before Aliza ended up hurting herself or them.

It started as the subtle flickering of lights, Rome had dismissed him by saying that the apartment had certain issues, considering that this was just temporary. Vincent had tried to make Rome understand that this was Aliza's frustration but he wouldn't listen.

Later on, it was the weather that started to feel odd. Like dread and anger were lingering in the room, making their presence known by heating the air around them. Vincent knew that even though the first week of December in New Orleans was fairly warm, it sure as hell didn't feel like Texas in July.

The final straw was the sword. Vincent had woken up in the middle of the night, the heat making it hard for him to sleep. He was walking to the kitchen to fetch himself a glass of ice water when he noticed something that was glowing from the corner of the living room.

The blade of the sword was glowing with a strange white light with hints of violet and red. That was when Vincent had dragged Rome, making him see for himself what he meant when he said Aliza was mad.

"She is done with everything, Rome," Vincent reasoned, "We have to help her with her anger. Because this," He pointed at the sword, "Is where I draw the line."

Rome was aware that Vincent was only worried about Aliza. Alaric had said that the glow of the sword would depict the intensity of Aliza's emotions. The hints of violet and red within the white glow were pointing towards the fact that Aliza was not only just angry. She was hurt.

"What do you suggest?" He asked, figuring Vincent knew better than him.

"I know who can help."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"If this is your weird way to convince me then let me tell you it ain't gonna work."

Rebekah and Camille didn't reply, they just smiled and kept their eyes on the road.

Aliza shook her head and stared out the window, watching the trees go by. It was almost evening, the sky was blue with hints of orange submerged in it. She inhaled, the winding softly crashing against her face.

Despite the weather being pleasant, Aliza felt nowhere near good. She should have been excited about Katherine coming to visit her tonight. But ever since she found out the truth, something was churning inside Aliza.

Like a bubble emerging inside her chest, making her feel uncomfortable and unable to breathe freely. She was getting irritated easily, clenching her jaw and flexing her fists from time to time. But the unsettling feeling wouldn't go away.

Rebekah noticed just how warm the car was with Aliza in it with them. Vincent had explained to Rebekah what was going on with her. Klaus too had informed them about the strange flickering lights in the area where Aliza was staying with Rome and Vincent.

It took some time to convince Aliza that Rebekah and Camille meant well. Vincent thought that Freya would get too emotional and further anger Aliza, it was best for Klaus, Kol, and Elijah to stay from her since Aliza had made it abundantly clear just how much she disliked them.

"We're here," Camille declared as she made a turn, pulling up in front of the abandoned church that almost took an hour for them to reach. Vincent had explained to them what they were about to do. She had promised him that they would take care of it.

Aliza unbuckled her seat belt and opened the door. She stepped out, squinting her eyes at the fairly large church. It seemed abandoned with no moving life anywhere near it. The stone walls were dirty and covered with patches of green mosses. Aliza couldn't help but admire the quaint yet picturesque building that was situated in the middle of nowhere.

The doors of the church were wretched, with one of them ripped-off its hinges and lying on the short flight of stairs that led inside.

"Come on," Rebekah said, Aliza hadn't realized that she was standing next to her. She placed a hand on her upper back guiding her towards the church. Aliza found herself too captivated to say anything, she was curious to know what it looked like on the inside.

They walked side by side towards the building and the closer they got the more nervous Aliza felt.

They walked up the stairs, the sound of her shoes gritty against the concrete steps. Aliza walked over the edge of the half-broken door, pushing the small spider webs with her hand as she entered inside with Rebekah and Camille following her.

"Why are we here?" Aliza asked. She was expecting the place to be ruined. But it seemed pretty neat, the long wooden benches were lined up in an orderly fashion. On the other side was what Aliza thought, a small stage on which a huge stone block was kept.

There were three colored glass windows on the other end, tainted with dirt and dust. The sunlight filtered through them, falling on the aisle. The place reeked of mud that made Aliza scrunch her face.

"We want you to do something for us," Camille answered, her eyes trained on Aliza. This was one of Klaus's properties that were just lying untouched. This was the perfect place.

"What?"

"We want you to roar,"

Aliza turned to look at them.

"You want me to what now?"

"You heard her," Cami said, shrugging her shoulders. A part of her was interested in seeing what Aliza could do.

Aliza laughed in disbelief, shaking her head, and said, "Rarrrr..." She lifted her hands and mimicked the movements of a cat, curling her finger.

"Done," With that, she tried to walk past them but Rebekah blocked her way.

Aliza stared at her, "What? I just did what you asked."

"This is not a joke," Cami said, her voice serious.

"Says the people who want me to 'roar'." Aliza scoffed, "What does-"

"You're angry," Rebekah interrupted.

"I'm fine," Aliza replied through gritted teeth, She had no desire to talk about her feelings to anyone, especially Rebekah who just ignored her for months and then warmed up to Aliza when she saw fit.

"You are nowhere near fine, Aliza," Cami replied firmly, "You're having panic attacks in the middle of the night, you want to break something, you don't feel like eating anymore. You are tired yet you don't sleep. You are one step from having an intense mental breakdown."

"And when you do have that mental breakdown and when that bubble in your chest pops," Rebekah said, her voice low and serious, "You will end up hurting yourself, or worse, hurt Vincent and Rome."

That caught Aliza's attention. She did notice Vincent acting odd around her. At first, she thought he was just giving her some space but he began acting so cautiously like she was some sort of a bomb that would explode if said something wrong to her.

She didn't want to hurt her family. Aliza was mad at them, sure, but not to the point where she would want to harm them in any way.

"What do you want me to do?"

Rebekah smiled, taking a few steps back along with Camille.

"We want you to scream," Camille replied, "As loud as you can."

Aliza did feel like she was going burst, her chest was heavy and her stomach was hollow. Even her appetite had reduced somehow, the things that helped her calm down were proving to be useless.

When she tried to read, she felt like ripping up the pages of the book, when she tried to sketch she would eventually scribble the page black. Aliza wanted to break something, scream her head out, just something to pop the bubble in her chest.

Camille and Rebekah watched as Aliza turned her back towards them.

"Can't believe I'm doing this," Aliza murmured, squaring her shoulders and taking a deep breath. She stared ahead, with her chest puffed out.

"Don't be shy," Rebekah assured, "It's just us girls,"

Aliza closed her eyes thinking about all the things that made her angry. She leaned forward, bracing herself as she began thinking about all the things that caused her pain.

'We do not show kindness to our enemies, it makes you weak.'

Camille flinched, taking another step back. Aliza's scream pierced through the quietness of the church, like a sharp knife butchering the silence that had made itself home within the walls.

'You, my dearest Aliza, are a Mikaelson.'

The wooden benches were thrust towards the other side, colliding with one another. They began to crack, crashing against the stone wall, piling over one by one. Aliza's anger was evident in her screams.

They could see the red-violet that represented her wrath radiating from her body.

'They are your family,'

Rebekah glanced at Cami, the air was growing warmer by the second. They could hear the raw winds clashing against each other.

The sound of threatening clouds audible to their ears, the sultry atmosphere made them squirm.

'She wanted to make sure he has his own legacy,'

The huge block of stone began to crack, the windows shattered in the blink of an eye, pieces of glass fell on the stage and the block. The room was filled with the light of the sun, like spotlights making every chaos visible for them to see.

The winds barged in the room, whipping their hair behind.

'It's true, you are Finn's daughter,'

Aliza could feel her blood rushing in her vein, all the pain and hurt came pouring out through her voice.

Her throat began to itch, but her scream didn't quiver for a second. She could hear the turmoil that was happening around her, happening because of her. Aliza didn't care, she was only focused on how her chest was getting lighter, how she was feeling free, and how the knot in her stomach was disappearing.

Aliza stopped screaming, breathing heavily. Her throat was dry, but her lungs weren't heavy anymore. She could breathe properly, the ache in her heart was gone. Her head wasn't throbbing.

Aliza opened her eyes only to see that everything was ruined.

Like a hurricane had stormed in and destroyed everything with its wrath.

Rebekah and Camille smiled knowingly, the air was brought back to its usual temperature. The heat was no longer embedded in the atmosphere.

Rebekah eventually spoke.

"Now who's hungry?"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rebekah snorted softly, handing a napkin to Aliza who was stuffing food in her mouth like a hooligan.

"The food is not running away," Cami playfully scolded, "You'll choke,"

Aliza just shrugged and took another bite of the pizza slice. They all were in Cami's favorite bar where Rebekah had managed to order food for Aliza.

Who in New Orleans could say no to an original, she had boasted.

Aliza ignored the obnoxious display of authority and decided to focus on the good stuff that was pizzas and burgers and her favorite thing in the world, strawberry milkshake.

She was feeling much better after screaming, the bubble of frustration in her chest and the knot in her stomach was long gone. Aliza was starving, after four days of not eating properly, she was feeling good about everything.

"So," Camille asked, Aliza, resisted the urge to scowl at her, "When are you leaving?"

"Next week," She answered, sipping the milkshake before taking a bite of a burger. Aliza had no desire to have this conversation with anyone, especially not with the people who were involved in lying to her.

"What are you doing till then?"

"Katherine is coming to visit tonight," Aliza answered, simply, "She will be staying till we leave."

"You seem to have become close friends with her," Rebekah couldn't help but remark. She never for once liked Katherine, that woman was nothing but a backstabbing bitch in her opinion who would go to any length to get what she wants.

"Well, she is the only person who has been honest with me," Aliza snapped, feeling a little annoyed by Rebekah's judgy attitude like she hadn't spent the majority of the time ignoring Aliza's existence before deciding to reach out to her as if doing her a favor.

Now that her head was much clearer, Aliza realized that none of it was her fault. She didn't owe these people anything.

Cami glanced at Rebekah who seemed a little hurt by Aliza's word but recovered quickly.

"I have to make a call," Cami said, pulling her phone out and shooting Rebekah a look.

It was better to leave them alone, Cami realized, her being there would only cause Rebekah to hold herself back.

After Camille was gone, Rebekah sighed. She rested her elbows on the wooden table, taking a deep breath. She didn't know where to start, wondering if she should apologize first and then explain herself or the other way around.

"Thank you," Rebekah eventually said.

Aliza lifted her head, her mouth stuffed with food.

She stared at Rebekah with her eyebrows raised.

"What?" She asked, unsure about what she heard.

"Thank you,"

"Spell it."

Rebekah shot her an irritated look, before shaking her head as she spoke.

"When I was a little girl, I used to be terrified of the thunder. Nik would hold my hand all night long," She laughed a little, "Tell me that he will never leave me,"

Aliza went still, she didn't particularly want to hear about this but given the broken look on Rebekah's face, she didn't interrupt either.

"Our father hated Nik ever since he was a little boy. One day Mikael was angry at Klaus for some ridiculous reason. Klaus was barely twenty at that time. Mikael dragged him in our house and began whipping him."

Aliza gulped.

Rebekah continued, "I just lost it. I didn't care about anything other than my brother at that moment." She let out another soft laugh, "I grabbed our father's sword and stormed right in. I couldn't hold it properly, it kept shaking but I didn't care,"

Aliza reached out for the glass of milkshake sipping it as Rebekah kept talking.

"I wanted to be just like Nik. Talented, smart, caring,"

Aliza snorted.

She smiled, "But I was also tired of everything. I wanted to live my own life, I wanted to have a family, to fall in love but Klaus wouldn't let me."

"Why was that?"

"He believes I lack fortune when it comes to men," Rebekah answered.

"Enzo's cool." Aliza pointed out, "But he wears too much Gummy Hair Gel,"

"I know, right?" She agreed, squinting her eyes, "He has three jumbo editions in his bathroom. And also his axe body spray," Rebekah twisted her face in disgust.

"My God," Aliza shook her head, "Dark Temptation Chocolate? Don't even get me started," She shuddered, sipping her milkshake.

Rebekah grinned. Klaus didn't know about her and Lorenzo but considering all the things that he did when she introduced a man that she loved, Rebekah preferred keeping things under the radar for a while.

She did like Enzo, he wasn't like any other man she had been with. He made her laugh, cared about her, and wasn't afraid to show it, he understood what she wanted and respected her decision to not tell anyone about them for a while.

Enzo made her feel alive, with his goofy charm and snarky attitude. He never backed down when she dismissed him, always up for the challenge to impress her.

"You go ahead," Rebekah said, noticing Aliza had finished everything, "I'll check up on Camille,"

Aliza nodded, sliding out of the booth. She was feeling a lot better after eating so much. She gave Rebekah a nod, before walking towards the exit.

The place seemed empty since the last time she remembered. Including them and the bartenders, there were only seven people in the bar.

Aliza found it rather odd but she didn't think much about it, pushing the glass door open and walking towards the car that was parked a little further away down the street.

Aliza leaned against the car, on the sidewalk, waiting for Rebekah and Camille as she glanced around.

There seemed to be a lot fewer people on the street which Aliza found strange since the sun was setting and that meant New Orleans nightlife time but only a few people were on the road with their heads held down for some reason as if they didn't want to look up at all.

Aliza's attention shifted to the side.

"Cami's not coming?" She asked, frowning at Rebekah who was the only one exiting the place. Aliza stood straight, facing Rebekah.

"Marcel will pick her up," Rebekah said, walking towards Aliza. She had forgotten what Freya had pointed out about Aliza knowing Klaus's past. Rebekah wanted to find out how she knew so much about Klaus.

She stood in front of Aliza, "How do you know what happened to Klaus?"

Aliza blinked, obviously not expecting that. She stared at Rebekah, dumbfounded by the sudden confrontation.

"Wh-what?"

She gulped when Rebekah narrowed her eyes at her.

"Only we know what Mikael did to Klaus. And how our so-called mother just watched. How do you know about all that?"

Aliza sighed, thinking that perhaps she should tell Rebekah about Henrik. Maybe they could bring him back to life. Freya was a powerful witch after all. They could get their brother back and Aliza would get to go home peacefully.

"I can see-"

Rebekah groaned and clutched her head in her hands, dropping the car keys on the ground as she fell on her knees. Her head began hammering all of a sudden.

"Hey what's wrong?" Aliza rushed towards her, kneeling in front of Rebekah. Her voice filled with concern as she whipped her head around, only to find the streets completely empty.

All the people seemed to have disappeared out of the blues.

A hand clamped against Aliza's mouth, her shocked scream muffled as some dragged her from behind. She flung her hands around and kicked her legs, but the person wouldn't budge.

Her eyes widened to see Rebekah on the ground, completely still.

Aliza began to push the person, but her movements were clumsy and weak given the position she was in with the person's arm wrapped around her. Tears began to threaten her eyes, her heart pounding. She couldn't comprehend what was going on.

A sharp pain ran through her neck.

Everything went black.
