Tom Pov
"You look great mate, stop fidgeting" Daniel said looking at me. We were waiting outside of Ruperts house and I was playing with my blouse. I was wearing a white shirt with some blue ripped jeans white sneakers, I didn't style my hair because I knew Maddie loved it when it looked messy. Daniel was just wearing a red sweater and white trousers. "Sorry." I mumbled "How long is this dude going to take?" I asked Daniel, I wanted to go. The whole day I've been nervous and thinking about things I could say, pathetic, I know. "I don't know, Rupert always takes this long" Daniel said. I laughed a little at the hidden insult and looked at Daniel. "You'll be fine bro" he said, he meant it. "I just don't know what to do, I don't know what she wants, what she thinks...it's frustrating" I said, I haven't been really open about my feelings for Maddie but the boys understood me. "Trust me, be yourself, she likes that Tom the most" Daniel said. "Oh she defenitly does" we heard Rupert say who was walking towards us. "Ah look who decided to join us" I joked at Rupert and he laughed back while rolling his eyes. They got into Dan his car and I got in my own, I lived the farrest away from us three so Daniel would bring Rupert home. They followed me on the route towards the appartment of the girls, I knew where they lived because of that one time Mads and I went out for lunch. That was fun, it turned out different than expected ofcourse. I could still feel the butterflies I felt when I saw the damage the water had done to her t-shirt. She was beautifull... but she couldn't know I thought that, it was a little weird to look at it that way.
When we rang the doorbell I heard Cheryl open it. When she saw us a smile grew on her face and looked at us with a shimmer in her eyes. "Hey boys" she said smiling even wider. "Hey cherrie" Daniel said, Rupert and I immiatly gave him a confused look. "You can put your coat over there and then walk to the living room" Cheryl explained blushing at Daniel his comment. Then she walked away like nothing happend, "since when do you call her 'cherrie' Dan?" Rupert asked with still a confused look on his face. "I always called her...never mind" Daniel said blushing really bad. We hang up our coats and then walked into the living room. It smelled amazing actually, the table was set up with three plates at each side and candles in the middle. Cheryl was leaning against a chair reading something on her phone. Then Chloe walked in from the kitchen with a bowl of salad when she looked at us she smiled friendly "Hey boys, how are you?". "We are great actually" Ruperts anwsered "Agreed" I said smiling. "Good to hear, I'm cooking tonight so I hope you guys like it" she said while putting the bowl with salad on the table and looking back at us. "Cheryl why don't you get our guests a drink?" She said smiling at the blond girl who was still intriged by her phone. When Cheryl heard her name she looked up and nodded. "What do you want loves?" She asked us. "Let's start with some water" I laughed and with that anwser the girls walked back to the kitchen. "You have a nice appartment" Daniel said looking around him. I followed his movements, with that also letting my eyes glide over the nice big black couch pressed against the wall and a pretty big tv across it. The table wasn't far from the couch but it had a little wall seperating them. At the other side of the wall it had a little desk with a record player on it. Beneath the record player on another layer of the cabinet they had all sorts of liqour. "You like it?" Chloe asked from the kitchen. Cheryl walked back in with a big can of water and 6 glasses "It is not much but it's home" she smiled at us and started putting down the glasses one by one. "Tom?" I heard from the kitchen. I walked towards Chloe and raised my brows waiting for her to tell what she needed from me "Could you please get Maddie for me? Dinner is ready in 5" she said and I nodded.
I walked back to the hall with all the doors, I tried to open one but it was a bathroom so I closed it as quick as I opend it. Then I heard a voice singing to a lyrics I knew a little bit too well. "WHEN THE SUN SHINE WE SHINE TOGETHER. TOLD YOU I'D BE HERE FOREVER" I smiled a little to myself and walked towards the bedroom the sound was coming from, the door was opend a little so I could just peak trough to see Maddie. She was dancing with her wireless earphones in her ears, not that I didn't know which song she was listening to there was no holding back in the singing part. I looked at her, how she moved, how she sang, how she was publicly invisible for a moment and how she smiled to herself in the mirror but then I met her eyes, trough the mirror. She turned around, her cheeks turning scarlet, she was embarrest. I couldn't help but laugh forming on my face. She was cute like this.
Maddie Pov
He was laughing the guy who just spied on me was laughing because I busted him. And the worst thing was that I blushed about it, the second I met his eyes butterflies welled up in my stomach and goosebumps rose on my entire body. He made me feel weird but powerfull at the same time and he couldn't know that. "What the hell are you doing here?" I said after staring at eachother from a distance for a few minutes, both blushing pretty badly. "In your house here or right in front of you here?" He smiled. I didn't say anything, I didn't know what to say. I was embarrest and felt busted for being myself a little bit too much a minute ago. "Probably both" Tom continued "I'm in your house because Cheryl invited us for dinner and right now I realise you don't know a shit about the fact that we were coming tonight. And I'm in front of you because Chloe told me to get you for dinner" He explained not loosing my eyes for a minute as if they were glued to eachother. "No they didn't tell me" Bitches I thought. "Tell her to give me a minute" I said. I indeed needed a minute, I looked like shit and I was in shock why is it whenever the girls want to surprise me it is at a moment like this?
Tom Pov
"That's okay, take your time" I smiled at her and looked into her blue eyes again. I shook out of my stare when she snapped her fingers in front of my eyes "Can you uhmm leave than, please?" she said blushing at me. "Oh shit I'm sorry, ofcourse love" I said, I turned around and closed the door behind me. Why am I this stupid? I thought when I walked back into the living room. Chloe looked at me and I said "she'll be here in five minutes" at that she nodded, I could detect a little bit of guilt on her face for not telling Mads about us coming over but I knew they wouldn't fight about this. They are like sisters.
After waiting for like 6 minutes I heard Maddie her door close and looked at the hall. She walked in wearing an amazing red top in a rose red colour with a jean skirt. She was stunning, I couldn't take my eyes off of her and she fell right into my eyes, when she did she smiled at me. "What do you think?" She asked me "That red colour makes me crazy Houston" I said. "Not only the red colour" Rupert joked earning a death glare of me and the others, at that he looked away, afraid we might kill him if he ever spoke again. "What are we having for dinner?" Mads asked. "My famous pesto salade, my nice grilled beef and some potatoes from the oven" Chloe explained proudly. The boys and I grinned at eachother, we were hungry and this food looked amazing. "Well it looks amazing Chlo" Cheryl said "like always" Maddie added. We laughed a little and started getting food on our plates. Daniel started asking about Chloe her work "Well I'm training to be a detective but momenterily I work as an officer and do partols and paper work" she explained. We were all intrested and listening until Cheryl suddenly said "that is where she met Noah" we looked Cheryl and than an Chloe and I saw Maddie just ignoring the comment. Didn't she like him or something? "It's true I'm dating someone who first was a suspect in a case, but he turned out to be innocent" she explained. I looked at Rupert, we both knew that Rupert had hoped for another chance but he could forget that now. I saw him smiling about it, he was okay. "How are things working for you guys? You know, meeting Maddie again after two years and stuff" Cheryl said. "That was brilliant actually. Well for us but I don't know about Tom over here" Dan pointed at me and I gave him a little glare to warn him. "I was a bit shocked and angry in the beginning bu that all turned out to be a big misunderstanding" I explained myself. I thought back to the moment we had the private talk...we almost kissed, we have kissed...on set and you'd think that wouldn't be the same but she was kissing me back and how much I know this is bad I think she likes me too.
Maddie Pov
Tom was talking about work together with the others, we were almost done eating if you judged by the plates. "Shall I do the dishes?" I offerd. Chloe looked at me and smiled. "I'll take that as a yes" I laughed. I grabbed the bowl where the salad had been in and the bowl for the beef and potatos and walked to the kitchen. I putted some foil over the salade that was left because I wanted that tommorow and started washing the other two with soap and water. The water was streaming and mixing with the soap. Suddenly Tom walked in with a few plates and smirked at me when he saw me "thought you might need some help" he said and then winked. I quickly looked away to hide the blush on my cheeks, I started scrobbing the bowls in the warm water with the foam on top of it. Then I felt a body lining up behind me and I started cleaning slower. "Don't worry I don't bite" Tom whispered in my ear, I wasn't sure what to do but I heard the others still talking and laughing in the living room so I just went on working. Then I felt two hands following my arms to touch with mine, he held his hands on my hands while I was washing the dishes, it wasn't in a bad way, it was in a loving way. I felt goosebumps raising on my skin when I turned my head to the side where is was. "Are you going to help or are you only going to watch me?" I said with a smile. His face was on my side but I could feel his breath on my cheek, it was warm. He stood a little closer leaving no space between us "I like to watch you when your busy, you always have this concentrated look on your face, it's cute" he told me, I could feel him smile and it gave me butterflies. He started moving his hands on my arms again. I felt the blush on my face getting worse, same as the goosebumps and the butterflies. "What do you want Felton?" I almost whispered. He opend his mouth but then we heard Rupert call his name and he looked at the way the sound was coming from. "Go, I'll be fine" I said nodding at him, at that he dried his hands and walked out of the kitchen. What the hell was that? I started doing the plates after I dried the bowls and Tom walked back in, he was carrying plates again. He smiled at me and putted the plates in the water a little bit too harsh making the water splash all over me. "Hey carefull! Do you want the same thing happening as in the restaurant?" I joked, but he made a countermove. "maybe I do" he said "okay you're so on" I laughed and splashed water on him. His mouthed formed an O as he looked at the damage on his shirt. It was really wet, you could see his abs trough it. They looked gorgeous last time when he made me pancakes and they looked gorgeous right now. I looked up at his eyes again, he had seen me staring. Shit. "Don't be too confident" he said walking closer. How closer he came the more I backed off until I reached the sink again. He towerded over me having a mean Draco smirk on his face, I felt my knees get weak at thinking about the last time we were in this position. He bended a little bit towards me but before I could even think he was going to kiss me he splashed the water on me, making my back wet. I looked at him in shock, still procesing what just had happend. "Oh you're dead" I said and he started running towards the living room. Ofcourse I ran after him when we entered the living room we were almost dancing around the table with the other four people. Trying to find out how we could attack the other. Chloe and the other were looking at us figuring out what the hell happend, it wasn't weird that they didn't have a clue. We were almost entirely wet and wanted to catch one another. "Okay what the fuck happend?" Cheryl asked. "He splashed water in my face" I said pointing at Tom "not only your face love" Rupert added. "He deserves payback" I said. I felt Chloe grabbing my shoulders "He does but right now you both are going to put on something dry because you look like shit. No fighting in my house" she said looking at us both. "Okay mom" I said little annoyed little excited from the adrenaline I had before. I walked to my room with Tom following me inside "Yeah didn't think so loverboy" I said to him throwing him a t-shirt from Nick. "Put that on, it'll fit, you can change in the bathroom" I smiled and so he did. He walked out and I shook my head. He is crazy.
We were eating dessert, I was wearing a red of shoulder top on the jean skirt I from before. Tom and I were glaring at eachother like a 'I will kill you someday' glare. After dessert we were having some drinks and Daniel and Rupert left, they had to be on set tommorow. Tom and I didn't so Tom decided to stay longer. After they left we talked with the four of us but now we were sitting on the couch with drinks. Then the doorbell rang and Cheryl stoop up "I'll get it!" she said. She walked out and we continued our conversation about the hair of Daniel, it's weird. I know. Then all of a sudden we heard Cheryl yell "Just leave you dick!" and we raced to the hall.
