Groom:(breaking Subham's thought process )"bolo kaun karega shaadi"(He said laughing. Everyone look disgusted at him when they heard a voice)
Subham:"Me karonga shaadi "(Everyone looked at him shocked)"Aur rahi baat tere chootne ki toh shayad tu janta nahi hai ki Sameer ke tauji Ahmedabad ke bahut famous lawyer hain. Aur me yeh wada karto hoon aaj tuhjse ki tuhje toh me jail ke under hi dekhonga ab kyun aaj se koyi bhi lardki woh nahi sahe gi toh Palak aur uske paariwar walo ne saha hai"(He said with a stern stone)"Le jaye isse officer"
Police officer:(to his team mates)" arrest him"(the inspectors caught the groom and despite his struggles, they took him outside to the car )"Lardki ke parents or (turning to tauji) aapko bhi chalna hoga humhare saath. Kuch formalities hai jo karni pardegi. "
Tauji:"ji hum chalenege. Anand Rakesh tum yahan ka sambhalena."
Anand:" ji bhaisab"
As the Police left with tauji and Palak's parents. Few guests also left. Taiji instructed Naina and Preeti to take Palak inside which they did as instructed. After the girls left everyone turned to Subham.
Anand:"Beta tumhe jo abhi fesala liya hai shaadi ka. Kya tum sure ho. shaadi bahut bari zimidari hoti hai aur abhi to tum sirf 21 ke hue ho."
Taiji:"umer ka kya hai anand babu. Umer to yahi sahi hai shaadi ki per aaj jo hua uske baad tumhari aur palak ki zitni jaldi shaadi ho jaye uthna behetar hoga"
Mukiya's wife:"subham beta dekho humhe tumhare iss fesale se koyi problem nahi hai. Mujhe khushi hui yeh dekh ke ki tum Palak ka saath de rahe ho. Per me yeh nahi sachati ki tum koyi bhi fesala jald bazzi me lo aur fir baad me patchao."
Subham:"me sure hoon. Sachi me"
Everyone discussed this topic for almost 30 mins. By then Subham and Romeer were also tried of this discussion. They discussed how by the end of next week they should marry Palak and Subham so that after that they can head back to the city area and away from all this. all this while subham was getting restless which was noticed by Sameer. He pulled Subham to the corner while Rohan followed.
Sameer:"kya hua Subham"
Subham:"actually muhje tum dono ki ek help chahiye"
Rohan:"bolo na"
Subham:"yeh sab itni jaldi ho gaya, main to theek se Palak se mila bhi nahi hoon. Muhje usse akel me baat karni hai. Uske thoughts kya hai iss sab ke baare me yeh jana hai. Sabne muhjese to 5 baar pucha ki me theek hoon is sab se per usse kishi ne kuch bhi nahi poocha"
Sameer:"I understand subham. Aur muhje accha laga janke ki tumhe uske thoughts ki bhi parwa hai. Hum kuch arrange karte hain"
Rohan:"Sameer tum sabko distract karo me Preeti ko bolta hoon Palak ko bahar leke gaye"
Sameer:"Great"
Here Sameer distracted Others as Subham headed out behind the village house. On the other hand Rohan went to the girls room.
Naina:"Aare rohan. Baat ho gayi bahar"
Rohan:"Nahi bhabhi chal rahi hai. Suniye Subham ko Palak se baat karni hai akele me"
Preeti:(smiled remembering the days they used to sneak like this for Sameer and Naina)"Plan kya hai"
Rohan tells them the plan and getting a positive response he moves out. Naina and Preeti help Palak sneak out to the back where Subham was waiting.
Naina:"10 min hai Subham. Jaldi karna"
Subham:"Ji bhabhi"(Naina and Preeti left)
Palak was looking at the ground. She was still in her bridal wear. Subham looked at her while she was still looking down on the ground fidgeting with hands.
Subham:"Palak"
Palak:"Ji"(Still not looking up)
Subham:(Sighs)"I know yeh sab bahut jaldi me hua aur tumse kishi ne poocha bhi nahi. Maine bhi bina puche faisla le liya per woh dulha jab bol raha tha ki tumse shaadi kaun karega tab muhjse raha nahi gaya. Galti uski toh saza tumhe kyun mile."(He looked up to see Palak looking at him, but as soon as their eyes met palak lowered her gaze again)"ishiliye me tumse abhi poochna cahata hoon ki kya tumhe yeh sab manjoor hai."
Palak at this looked up at the guy in front of her. Why is all that came in her head. Why did he help her when that old man insulted her. Why did he take up her responsibility and decided to marry her. He was from the Mukiya's family. He lived in the city where everyone lived very different then in the village and She... She was from a small village area. Why would he make such a big sacrifice for her.Why..
Subham:"Palak?"(He called her seeing her still lost in her thoughts)
Palak:"J..ji..Woh..me.."
Subham:"Hey hey...take you time.."(He then looks at his watch to see only 5 mins left)"Per itna bhi time mat lena 5 min me Naina aur Preeti bhabhi aati hongi"(He said the last part joking yo himself when he heard Palak laugh)"Finally hasi toh aayi aapko "
Palak:(Looks up)"Thank you"
Subham:"Huh?"
Palak:"Aapne do kiya aaj uske liye thank you. Abhi bhi aapko meri...meri marzi ka bhi khayal hai."
Subham:"Tumhara hac hai aapni marzi batana. Palak sabne under yeh decide kiya hai ki agale hafte ki Friday tak shaadi hogi humhari. I know yeh shaadi bahut jaldi aur rahi hai per tum chinta mat karo. City Jane ke baad tum jo bhi karna chahati ho kar sakti ho. Pard sakti ho. College ja sakti ho. aur Agar job karni hai toh woh bhi kar sakti ho"
Preeti:(Entering with Naina)"Palak chalo sab tumhe tumhari maa aur papa bhi aate hi honge"(Palak nods and looks at Subham before heading inside with The girls. Soon after them Subham also comes inside.)
After 20 mins or so Tauji along with Palak's parents come back. The elders talk a little more about today's events before everyone decides to head home.
It was Night time, Everyone had had dinner and were headed to their rooms to sleep. Naina enters her room and closes the wooden door. She see Sameer laying on the bed staring at the ceiling. She goes towards him and lays down next to him. With breaking his thoughts, he pulls Naina into his arms still staring upwards.
Naina:"Kya hua Sameer "
Sameer:"Kuch nahi bus aaj ke baare me soch raha hoon."
Naina:"Sab accha ho gaya na toh ab kya sochna "
Sameer:"Yeh soch raha hoon ki aaj yeh shaadi hum rok bhi nahi paate agar palak 18 ki hoti. Uski shaadi ek bude insan se hogati aur sabko yeh normal lagta"
Naina:(sighs)"Abhi kya Sameer. Yeh Sab saalo se chal raha hai. Purane jamane me toh 5 saal ke bachiyon ki shaadi karwa dete they 80 saal ke insan se. Badlav toh aa raha hai humhare des me per abhi bahut lambi jang lardni pardegi tabhi jake har lardki ko uthna hi hac aur shaman milega jitna har lardke ko milta hai. "
Sameer:"aur aaj humne jo kiya woh ek pardav tha iss ki taraf"
Naina:(nods)"accha chalo ab so jao kal pure din bahut kaam hai. Perso pooja hai uski tayari karni hai kal"
Sameer:"Hmm"
Naina:"Sameer...tum kal Rohan ke saath jake Phonebooth se ghar call karlena ek baar 2 din ho gaye baat kiye Hue"
Sameer:"Haan theek hai"(Sameer pulls Naina closer as she snuggles into his chest letting sleep take over them)
Next morning comes. After freshening up, Romeer head to phone booth outside of the village area to call home while Naina and Preeti start to prep for the Pooja.
Tej:"Naina ja jake Pandit ji se pooch ke aa ki bahar se kya magwana hai. Tere chachaji aur papa thori der me pass wala city jane wale hai"
Naina:"Ji Chachiji"
Naina headed to the temple which was 3 to 4 min walk from her house. That the good thing about village that everything is only 5 to 10 mins walk distance from the house. As Naina reached the temple she was Sameer and Rohan walking back.
Sameer:"Naina?"
Naina:"Haan chachiji ne kaha ki Panditji se kuch saaman lana hai kya pooch loon. Chachaji aur papa jane wale hai pass wali city me"
Sameer:"ohh. Hum bhi chalo"
Naina:"Chalo"
Naina and Romeer head into the temple and they meet the Pandit ji who was trying to help decorate the temple for the pooja along with few more village people.
Naina:"Namaste Panditji"
Pandit:"namaste beta."
Naina:"Pandit ji, chachaji aur papa pass wale city ja rahe hai aapko kuch mangwana hai "
Pandit:"Haan beta woh.."(Pandit ji gave a list of thing to be brought to Naina)
Naina:"Theek hai Pandit ji"
Pandit:"Aare Naina tum log yahan help kar sakte ho kya. dupar ki aarti ka time ho raha hai toh yeh sab me nahi dekh paonga"
Naina:"Aah ji Pandit ji per yeh list dena..."
Rohan:"Aare Bhabhi aap aur Sameer ruku me yeh list deke aata hoon"
Sameer:"Haan theek hai"(Rohan left while Panditji instructed Samaina what to do)
Naina and Sameer started helping decorate the temple. Sameer was decorating the outter area with flowers while Naina sat their making Malas out of flowers. After all the things were hung outside, Sameer sat next to Naina to help her as they need to make more malas to hang.
Naina:"Dekho Sameer aaram se. hanth me laga mat lena"
Sameer:"Yes maam"(he chuckled as he continued to make the mala when something struck him. He smiles with his eyes filled with mischief as he looked at naina)"Ahhh"(He yelled holding his hands. Hearing him Naina dropped everything and turned to him wth concern )
Naina:(Holding his hands)"Kya Hua sui chubi? Bola tha maine aaram se karo per nahi suna toh nahi hai tumhe. Sameer dikhao na"
Sameer:"Nahi nahi dard ho raha hai"
Naina:(by now few tears formed in her eyes)"Sameer please dikhao na"
Sameer seeing her concern didn't want to pull the prank further so he opened his fingers. Seeing no Scratch or blood on her fingers Naina looked up confused.
Naina:"Kahan lagi hai yahan toh.."(Seeing Sameer's smile and realizing it's a prank, She glared at him)
Naina picked up her half finished flowers mala and turned to the other side and started working on it. Sameer smiled and moved closer to her but she moves Away.
Sameer:"Naina yaar sorry...."
But He quietly Finished the last mala before standing up and heading up to hang the mala up. Sameer follows her with his mala. As she climbs up to hang the Mala, Sameer stops her but she was to angry to listen. As she hangs the Mala and was about to come down her leg gets stuck in her saree and she slips and falls into Sameer arms. Along with her, The Mala she hung also falls on them.
Panditji enters to see Sameer holding Naina in his arms with flowers Malas around their neck. Before he can say anything he sees Sameer drop Naina on her feet before they both try to take the mala off of them as it tangles more. Just then a hard wind blows causing the chunari that was hung near the god flow and land on them.
Sameer:"Naina ek min. "(He slowly lifts the chunri off of him and un-tangles the tangled mala around them helping both of them stand probably)"Tum theek ho na"
Naina:"Haan"
Sameer:"Bola tha uper mat chardo per tum toh sunti hi nahi ho"
Naina:(Pouts)"Toh gusse me demaag nahi kaam karta"(She said making Sameer smile )
Sameer:"Aare Panditji"(He states as he sees the Pandit ji standing their watching them)"Aap chinta mat kijiye sab jaga phool lag gaye bus yahi ek baccha hai"(He stands up and hangs the remaining flowers)
Naina:"Pandit woh yeh chunri"
Pandit:"Aapne pass rakho beta. Mata ka ashiward hai. Ek bar unse paranm karlo"
Naina and Sameer join hands in front of bhagwan ji then touch Panditji's feet to take blessing.
Panditji:"hamesha khush raho aur jaldi se tumhare ghar me kilkari ghunje"(Naina blushed while Sameer looks on confused)
Sameer and Naina start to head home when Sameer asks Naina what the Pandit ment by his last words.
Naina:(Blushes)"Tumhe sachi me nahi samaj aaya"
Sameer:"Nahi"
Naina:"Sameer kilkari ka matlab kya hua"
Sameer:"Awaaz?"
Naina:"Bacho ki awaj"(She said the last part blushing as she run into the house)
Sameer:"Bacho ki awaj..per humhare ghar kilka...ohh"(He stands their till he realizes what the Panditji blessed them with. His ears turns red as he runs his hands through his hair before running in)
