Yeji's POV
Another day, another week to get by and survive. I admit it's really tiring to be part of the student council but nonetheless I enjoy being part of this team.
We're actually planning already about the event that our school will host for next month. This usually includes theater acts, dancing competitions and covers, food stalls and different booths set up by students even if it may seem ridiculous. I mean why would anyone even put up a kissing booth? It's just weird to me because it's a stranger they'd be kissing with and they're actually willing to be part of it?

I snap out of my thoughts when someone called me. "What?"
Sighing, "I was asking you if you have thought of a good and unique theme already this year" Jennie unnie said
"Oh well um how about a disco themed party? Why don't we go for something retro this year? It would be nice to reminisce such events from the 80s or 90s" I replied
I looked at everyone in the council and basing on their expressions, they all seem to be happy with it.
"Nice one Yeji, I love your idea. I'll make sure the school would approve this. Although I'm sure they'll love it since they're from those era" Irene unnie said
We continued planning from the designs to be made, what booths would be appropriate, the props, the lightings and just everything that can be done for this event.
I'm glad that I was excused for training today because I don't think I even have the energy to train and dance.

Friday
I was walking down the hallway going to the dance studio after I sent Lia to the theater studio for their practice as well for next month's event. As I have expected, I am one of the earliest to arrive.
I really can't with these two captains. They're just really only this early whenever we have competitions or events to be part of.
At least even if they're late, they're responsible enough.
I then headed straight to the locker room first to change into a more comfortable outfit. As I was about to change on my shirt, I was surprised to see that it was a crop top I brought instead of a normal shirt.
Oh no
I slightly panicked because I have never worn something that would show even the littlest bit of my skin. I mean it's that I don't have a good body but somehow I just feel really conscious knowing that some people might stare especially since this would be the first everyone's seeing me practice with this crop top fit.
Oh stop worrying, you have a good body okay. You are attractive okay, you should know that plus you can literally seduce someone with your looks in no time.

I then ignored it and just changed into my full outfit then decided to head outside after hesitating a few more times.
As I was walking outside, I can already see some or I guess most of my teammates staring at me. I just walked towards the captains while having my head down.
"Oh hey there Yeji- ohh la la" Lisa unnie replied
"Why are you staring at Yeji like that? Is there something going o- oh I see now why" Seulgi unnie commented
I cleared my throat and greeted them, "Wel hello to both of you captains. Also, stop staring at me like that" I hissed
"Well well well, how can we not? It's your first time wearing a crop top Yeji! L-"
I cut her off and replied, "So? It's just a crop top and it's just for today because I didn't know that this was what I packed earlier at home"
"Duh we know that but what we're saying is look at you! Damn, you're hot Yeji! Who wouldn't stop and stare at you when you've got that good body physique of yours?" Seulgi unnie said
I got flustered by what unnie said because like I mentioned, I really feel conscious with my body but it does feels nice to be complemented like this I guess
"Ohh look who's turning red and getting flustered. You're cute Yeji plus you should know that you've got the hots to attract anyone regardless of the gender" Lisa unnie teased a bit and chuckled
"I agree, I mean look at everyone staring, it's completely understandable" Seulgi unnie added. She then roamed around her gaze until she stopped at one person who seem I don't know frozen at the moment. She has an expression of both shocked and amazed as I can decipher, not sure if I'm right though
"See what I told you Yeji? Someone's completely smitten by you" Seulgi unnie said while laughing
"It's funny to see her like this, it's such a change from her usual expression and behavior" Lisa unnie added
They both continued looking at the said girl yet it seems as if she can't see the two because well she's staring at me. She's weird today, she usually is but today is just...
I then looked straight at her as well trying to analyze her overall. Once I did and got to stare at her for at least a few seconds, she must have realized she was staring at me for quite a time because she blushed? Was that it? I'm not sure but then she looked away immediately and headed straight to the locker room with her friend
She's really weird or should I say she's just really different today. Well let's clap for her for being able to show other expressions asides from her usual cold, blank face.
I didn't mind her anymore and think about what happened. I just went back to talking with what we'll do with the two captains and decided to go to my bag to use my phone for awhile. As I was fumbling with my bag, I then saw the usual letter.
Oh it's early as always, it seems that the sender knows the right timing when they should put it huh

Staring at her too much? Seriously? You could have done better and just steal glances like you always do but how should I do that when she's literally looking like that
A goddess even in just a simple and comfortable clothes.
Plus she's hot too okay it's her fault, she's really got the looks and got me hooked no matter what
God, when I saw her wearing a crop top fit, I feel like I'm going to go insane.

I mean I should have known because she's been on the team longer than me and that's one cause, another is probably exercising to keep such a body but damn she's just really built different.

But again what the fuck. That was still so embarrassing. She caught me staring!! Even the two captains did and they were even smirking, I fucking hate themm Can the ground just please eat me?
Well I didn't mean to stare too much okay but it's just that, she's looking THAT fine while I am here who's probably not enough or someone who is not matched for her
As I was about to continue being deep in my thoughts, I hear the loud knock and voice of Chaeryeong
"YAH SHIN RYUJIN!! ARE YOU DONE? WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING THERE FOR SO LONG? HURRY UP AND OPEN THIS OR I'LL BREAK IT" well uh-oh, she seems well mad again
"Okay okay mom, I'm out now, please stop shouting you're too loud" I replied and just sighed
"Loud?! What do you mean loud?! I've been fucking calling you for at least a minute or two already but you are not responding. What did you even do while changing?" She replied while looking at me with that look of hers when she gets frustrated or impatient
I looked at her and sighed again, "Oh it's just nothing"
"It's not nothing, you know better than to lie to me Ryu"
"Well okay here it goes. It's just that I embarrassed myself awhile ago you know? She caught me staring!! I think she even saw me turn red, god, can this day get any worse?"
Chuckling a bit, she replied, "Well that normal Ryu. Your girl is a stunner. If I didn't just like your sister, I'd probably go for her too"
Silence took over as we both processed what she said
"Can you repeat what you said?"
She smiled sheepishly and she seemed nervous, "O-oh nothing Ryujinie hehe"
"You. You like my sister?" I said in a monotone voice. It's fun to tease her
"Okay I do okay. Please stop giving ke that look, it scares me a bit. You know that I'd take care of her always"
I just laughed and patted her shoulder, "I know that. You're the person I trust her to be with the most"
We then headed headed outside and I saw Yeji reading my letter. Recalling the memory once again, I turned red because damn who would have thought that the Shin Ryujin with cold, blank face would be like that?
As we were walking towards the team, I just can't help but stare at her again. Not until I slipped and fell on the floor hard. Damn, that hurts alright. How many more times should I embarrass myself in front of her today?
I then opened my eyes and saw Chaeryeong's eyes who seemed to have a mix of amusement and worry in it. She then lent me her hand and I grabbed it to stand up and fix myself
I turned red again thinking that everyone surely saw me. I fucking hate this day now
I hear someone chuckling beside me so I turned to face my friend. "What are you laughing about huh?"
"Nothing, you're just too whipped for her you know. You stared again. You didn't see the sign that says the floor is slippery. Next time, please be careful alright, be glad it's just the floor being slippery, what more if it's worse like we're outside and the road is broken or open? I won't save you from that"
"You're dramatic but thanks for the concern I guess"
The letter I wrote for this week perfectly fits me well I guess. I'm clumsy indeed. I don't know how I'll survive training today 🙃
