Binuksan nito ang isang can ng beer pero hindi inabot sa akin kaya ako na mismo ang kumuha at kaagad tinungga ito. Sobrang init ng hagod nito sa aking lalamunan, pero wala na akong pakialam, inabot ko pa ang isang bote na para sa kanya at ininom ito bago niya pa mabawi sa akin.
Malalim na buntong hininga ang kanyang ginawa bago pinigilan ang aking kamay upang kumuha nanaman ng panibago, he look at me in the eye and sigh, "This won't help you lessen the pain Candice," he calmly said but I just look at him.
"Gusto kong uminom kahit ngayon lang pwede ba," I push his hands away from me and grab another can of beer, pakiramdam ko nasusunog ang lalamunan ko sa tuloy-tuloy na pagtungga ng alak, pero ano bang pinagkaiba nito sa sakit na nararamdaman ko ngayon?
Wala mas malala pa rin ang sakit sa aking dibdib, "Wag mo na akong pigilan!" sambit ko nang makitang nakatitig lang siya sa akin. Hindi ko na siya binigyan ng pansin at nilunod ang aking sarili sa alak...
Maya-maya lang ay hindi na lang sakit sa puso at kamay ang aking nararamdaman, sumasakit na din ang aking ulo at medyo nahihilo na ako. The whole time na umiinom ako ay pinapanuod lang ako ni Cadmus at bakas sa mukha nito ang lungkot, pinupunasan din nito ang aking mukha pagmay natatapong beer sa gilid ng labi ko.
"Maybe you should stop now Candice," malumanay nitong sambit at hinawakan ang braso ko pero tinulak ko ang kamay niya na naging dahilan ng paglaglag ng mga walang laman na can at lumikha ng malakas na igay dito sa kanyang unit.

Kaagad akong tumayo at pinulot ang mga can pero tumayo din si Cadmus at pinigilan ako sa pagpulot ng mga can pero nagpupumilit ako kaya nag-agawan kami. "I can do this Candice," he said trying to stop me getting the cans.
"Kaya ko," sabi ko at pilit tinutulak ang kanyang kamay, "Baka masugatan ka Candice," he said and grab the can that I was going to get. "Kaya ko akin na!"
"No ako na lang, masusugatan ka lang Candice," inuunahan niya ako sa mga inaabot kong cans ng beer. "Kaya ko sabi, Ano ba!" nakikipagagawan na ako sa kanya pero pilit niya akong inuunahan.
"Ano ba Cadmus akin yan, kaya ko ano ba!!" sambit ko at pilit inaagaw sa kanya ang huling can, pero iniiwas at inalalayo niya ito sa akin.
"Akin na!!! Sinabing kaya ko! Kaya ko Cadmus, kaya ko!!!" sigaw ko at tinulak siya, kaya nabitawan niya ang mga cans at napaupo sa sahig, "Ako na! Kaya ko! Kaya kong kumita ng pera para sa pamilya ko! hindi ako mukhang pera, hindi ako gumagamit ng ibang tao para sa pera!!!" sigaw ko at nanghihinang napaluhod ako sa harapan niya.
Nahihirapan akong huminga ng muli nanamang bumuhos ang luha ko, "Kaya ko Cadmus, hindi ko kailangan ng pera mo, Kaya kooo'' sambit ko at tinakpan ang aking mukha gamit ang aking kamay.
"Kaya ko" bulong ko habang malakas na humihikbit at umiiyak, nahihilo at alam kong lasing na ako, akala ko mawawala ang sakit pag uminom ako pero mas lalo lang lumalalim ng lumalalim ang sakit sa aking puso.
Kahit kailan wala akong ginamit na tao, at hinengan ng pera. Nagpursige ako magisa para sa pamilya ko, nawalan ako ng buhay nong college dahil nagtratrabaho ako tanging si Louie lang ang taong nakasama at pinagkatiwalaan ko simula noon, dahil alam kong naiintindihan niya ako pero mali ako.
"Kaya ko Cadmus hindi kita kailangan dahil sa pera mo, Hindi ako mukha pera" sambit ko ng maramdaman siyang lumapit sa akin at maya-maya ay naramdaman ko ang kanyang braso at ako'y niyakap niya.
"Hindi ako mukhang pera!!" I started hitting him on his chest but he kept on hugging me and rubbing my back.
"I'm not offering my money Alliana, I'm offering my heart" he whispered into my ears.
Natigilan ako ng hawakan nito ang aking kamay at inangat ang aking ulo upang harapin siya, "Why can't it just be me?" he whispers and gently kisses the back of my hand.
"Just love me Candice and all the pain will disappear," he whispers and wipes my tears, locking our eyes with each other.
Kita sa kayang mga mata ang sensiredad na matagal ko nang hindi nakita sa mga mata ni Louie, "Alliana just let go of him and be with me instead please" he whisper, lumapit siya at pinagdikit ang aming noo, muling pinunasan ang aking luha.
"Be with me Alliana" seryoso niyang sambit bago ko naramdaman ang kanyang labi sa aking labi, he kissed me and caresss my face as he slowly reach for my hand and put it on his shoulders.

I close my eyes and let his lips rule my senses, and I just see myself responding through his kisses while tears keep on flowing and the pain keeps on aching inside my heart. I'm so tired of this pain, I just want to forget, and if this way could make me forget...

I slowly wrap my arms around his neck as he deepens the kiss and slowly pushes me to lay on the floor, he goes above me and kisses me gently, sending sincerity through his kisses that make me lose my senses.
