Cristina stayed up all night thinking about a way to tell Owen that Evie is his daughter. She's wondering how Owen would react, but she looks to her side to see Evie, she did not regret having Evie. Cristina knew sooner or later Evie will ask about her father so she called Owen later that night to her apartment.
Cristina: Hey Owen, I know it's late but can you come over, we need to talk.
Owen: Cristina it's 2 am.
Cristina slowly closes the door and goes downstairs to talk to Owen.
Cristina: Owen, it's really important.
Owen: We can talk about this at the hospital.
Cristina: This is serious, Owen.
Owen: Cristina, what is so important that I have to come over.
Cristina: Owen, this is about our daughter
Owen: What!
Cristina: She's your daughter Owen
Owen: Cristina, can we talk about this when I get to your place..
Cristina: Yes, but please come quietly, Evie is sleeping.
20 min later
*Ding Dong*
Cristina opens the door for Owen looks at Cristina with anger.
Owen: Cristina?
Cristina: Yes
Owen: Is she, really my daughter?
Cristina: Yes Owen, Do I have to repeat this 5 times.
Owen: No because this is one of the reasons we divorce, we had a whole argument on this. You even had an abortion, I'm just a little confused here. When did you have her?
Cristina: Owen I had a cryptic pregnancy, I had gained weight before I even know I was pregnant until I gave birth.
Owen: So you decided to hide her away from me.
Cristina: Owen, I couldn't just pick up and leave my hospital, I have a life in Zurich too.
Owen: oh Cristina, you always put your needs first.
Cristina: So you wanted me to put your needs over mines. I know how having a kid would affect me and my career, you even supported me through that abortion. Even though I decided not to have a child, Evie was the best thing that happened to me, she is smart, funny, and sarcastic, like me. As a baby, Evie didn't cry that much as a baby which worried me a lot, but she turned out fine. Evie is a happy kid which is surprising because I know she didn't get from me and Owen, you moved on with Teddy so I don't know why you angry at me.
Owen: Cristina, I wanted to have a family with you in it, I never stopped loving you, even when you left I still loved you. Teddy and I are not together ever since she cheated on me on our wedding day.
Cristina: Wow, I never see that coming but you guys still going to be in each other lives because you have kids together, am I right.
Owen: Teddy and I don't have kids together, I help her take care of her daughter since her husband Henry died about 2 years ago. I adopted a boy and we raised them together.
Cristina: Oh
As Cristina and Owen talk, Evie comes out of the room with a teddy bear.
Evie: Mommy?
Cristina: Yes, baby
Evie: I could hear you argue from the room.
Cristina: I'm sorry
Evie: Mommy, who's your friend.
Cristina: uhh Evie meet your father, Owen meet Evie.
Owen: Hello
Evie: um...Hi
Evie: Mommy, I'm going back to sleep.
Owen: She looks just like you
Cristina: I know, she has your eyes and hair. I couldn't hide from you because I know how you would react once you saw her.
Owen: If you had told me this when you had her, I would be there for you and Evie. I'm just mad that you kept her away from me.
The room got silent for a minute until they heard a small weep coming from upstairs. Cristina went upstairs with Owen behind her. Cristina slowly opened the door.
Cristina: Evie, baby. are you ok?
Evie: yes mommy
Cristina: Evie baby, I hope you didn't hear everything downstairs. You are mommy little sunshine, I never regret having you from the first time I hold you I know you were my little sunshine. Mommy loves you so much.
Evie: I love you too, mommy
Owen was smiling from the door. He knew Cristina was the best mother to Evie. He always wanted a family with Cristina, but he wasn't with Cristina which hurt him.
Cristina lay right beside Evie and waited for her to go back to sleep. Cristina later then fell asleep and forgot Owen was there. Owen grabbed the blanket and covered Evie and Cristina. He kissed Cristina, and Evie on the forehead.

It is 8 am in the morning, Cristina had to pick up her colleagues from the airport. Cristina went downstairs to make breakfast when she went downstairs she saw breakfast already made with a note right beside it, the note said: "I know the only thing you make for breakfast or lunch is cereal so I made breakfast, I hope you enjoy it." Cristina smiled at the note. Cristina still loved Owen even if she was mad at him, she still loved him. She later called Evie for breakfast.
15 min later after getting ready
Cristina: Evie, it time to go!
Evie: Mom, I don't know what shoe to wear.
Evie: Wear the yellow or grey shoes.
Cristina: I don't know, wear the yellow
Evie: Yellow don't go with black pants and a grey shirt, mom.
Cristina: Evie, hurry up.
Evie: Ok, I just wear the grey one.
Cristina: Grab your backpack
Evie: ok
Cristina dropped off Evie at Mer place where she meet, Alex to pick up the attending and residents from the airport.

Cristina: I'll take Shane and Brooks. You take Sam and Stephanie.
Alex: Wait, Stephanie works at your hospital
Cristina: Yeah, Jo didn't tell you.
Alex: Jo hasn't talked to Stephanie for a while ever since she quit being a surgeon after she saved a kid from fire.
Cristina: Wow, I did hear about the fire. I think she finished her residency at the hospital she had transferred for recovery.
Alex: I think there will be a problem once Sam sees Deluca with Mer.
Cristina: I don't know what Deluca had with Sam, but Sam moved on with Shane, he's married to her.
Alex: Dude, your hospital is coming with surprises.
Cristina: I know.
Cristina: Well, tthe flight will land in 4 minutes.
Alex: Have you told Owen about Evie
Cristina: He knows, I just need to figure out whether I get the days with Evie and Owen get the weekends. Evie hadn't got used to Owen, so I don't know.
Alex: Never did I know you would be a mother.
Cristina: Neither did I, but you know life can be a surprise.
