The video starts with Evelyn sitting on the floor in front of a wall as she smiles at the camera. "Hey gang, what's up, and welcome or welcome back! I'm Evelyn and this is my YouTube channel." Evelyn waves once with her right hand before she starts to look around. "I need a chair, I'm already uncomfortable." She says, and her intro begins.
The intro is a green, leafy background with instrumental music playing softly and the words "eveiefaye" written in a lowercase script. After a few seconds, her name goes away and the screen goes back to her.
Evelyn is now sitting at a higher level and looks down at her lap. "I feel like I'm going to regret this." She sings. The camera cuts and now Evelyn is smiling at the camera once again. "Hey guys.." She says, her tone sounding like she is trying to cover up something. "I'm really sorry that I've been so inactive over here. There has been a lot of stuff going on so YouTube kind of went on the back-burner, BUT-" She claps her hands and there is a short jump cut close up on her face before it goes back to the full screen. "-I'm back now and I wanted to do a video that you guys have been wanting that I've honestly been avoiding." Evelyn says. She cringes a little bit before softly saying "A Q&A... A little catch-up-sesh if you will." She says.
The camera jumps to her sitting, her phone now in hand. "I asked you guys to send in questions on Instagram or in my comments on YouTube and then I had Dakota go through them so I do not know what questions I'm going to be answering and honestly?" Evelyn says. "I'm a little scared.
From off camera, Dakota starts talking to Evelyn. "You'll be fine." Dakota says. "But what if I'm not?" Evelyn asks. "Evelyn I-" Dakota starts laughing and the camera cuts back to Evelyn sitting up straight with her phone in hand. "Alrighty then! Let's.. do this." She says as she grimaces.
"Okay first question." Evelyn is now looking down at her phone. "Why did you start your youtube channel?"
As Evelyn reads off the question, it appears word by word near the bottom of he screen. Evelyn looks up. "That is a good question. Well.." She thinks. "I think I started my channel because I was.. 13 I think? And life just kind of got boring for no reason all of a sudden. So I started making videos to give myself something to do." She says before looking back down at her phone.
"Question number two: what is your favorite song at the moment?"
Text replace the previous question on the screen and Evelyn puts down her phone and looks up, thinking. "That's a hard one. I don't think that my "favorite song" really stays my favorite for very long, my taste is kind of always in flux." She says. "That being said," She says, pointing at the camera, "I have been really getting into "...Ready For It?" and "Gorgeous" by Taylor Swift." Evelyn begins to look back down before she gasps and sits up straighter. "Oh! "One More Weekend" by Maude Latour and "Boy Bi" by Mad Tsai! I'm loving them right now." She says.
"Pregunta numero tres!" She says, holding her phone up to her eye level this time. "Are you actually friends with Asher?"
Once again, new text replaces the previous as Evelyn sighs. She looks in the camera with an awkward smile. "I'm going to keep this short and sweet, but not really, no. We used to be really close, but I learned some... things. Please don't spread hate towards him or anything, we're on good terms!" She says before quickly moving onto the next question.
"Four! Was your reaction in the TeenSpace video your candid reaction to the news about Louis?"
Evelyn smiles and chuckles, embarrassed. "Yeah, yeah it was. I don't think I'm really at liberty to say the whole thing, but Moira basically told me that there was an... interference so they had to speed up the announcement. But yeah, that was my real reaction. Leave it to me to look like that after hearing something about my own movie." She laughed.
"Next: Have you had to deal with any toxic people trying to re enter your life after gaining popularity?"
Evelyn's eyes get wide as she looks off camera. "Woah, that's deep." Dakota says from behind the camera, and Evelyn smiles. "That's a good one." She laughs. "Well, I've definitely had people try to say that they were best friends with me way back when or that we were really close when I either didn't know them at all, or they used to be kind of rude to me. But no, I haven't had anyone really toxic trying to get back into my life or anything. Now if we're talking about toxic people from the industry pretending to be my friend to take advantage of me, then.... then thats an entirely different story." She chuckles.
"Six: Do you have a boyfriend right now?"
Text replaces the previous question as Evelyn scoffs and looks up, playfully annoyed. The screen cuts to her looking at the camera. "No, no I don't. I am not currently dating anyone, though the internet may like to think otherwise." She says.
"Alrighty, number seven: How do you feel about TeenSpace?"
The question appears on the screen as Evelyn gasps and turns to Dakota. "Oh my gosh! It's from that girl that shuts down TeenSpace's comments in our Instagram posts!" Evelyn smiled as she whisper-yelled. "Oh my goodness." Dakota says, but now she enters the shot. "Hey girl, I just wanted to let you know that you are a queen and I respect you." Dakota says, progressively getting closer to the camera before she made a kissy-face and almost kissed the lens. Dakota then backed up from the camera and walked off-camera as Evelyn laughed. Evelyn turned to the camera as she calmed down. "Seriously. Abby? Abby I love you. If you need anything, message me. I'm serious." Evelyn smiled. "Anyways, my thoughts on TeenSpace? Um, I think that some times they can be really respectful but other times they are on the complete opposite of the spectrum. They kind of zig-zag back and forth when it comes to good or bad in my book." She says.
"And now, we have number eight! Who is actually your best friend: Millie or Finn?"
Evelyn laughed as she saw that the question was from Finn's instagram account. "Ok, I know people aren't going to like this answer but both?" She cringed. "I'm super close to both Finn and Millie compared to a lot of my friends and I love them both so much. If I really had to choose one I'd say.. Millie?" Evelyn winced and curled in on herself. "I met her first but its only like .1% more pleasedontshootmewithyournerfgunwheniseeyounextfinn." Evelyn said in a high-pitched voice as Dakota laughed.
The camera jump cuts and Evelyn is now sitting up straight once again and looking at the camera. "I knew I was gonna regret this." She smiled. "Ok so, Dakota saved a few for last because they are-" Evelyn does air quotes with her fingers. "-juicier." She cringes at the word. The camera cuts to her looking at her phone. "Are y'all ready for the teaaaaa." She sings, and her words pop up near the bottom of the screen as she sings them.
"Ok! Question number nine: (If you are comfortable) What is your sexuality?"
Evelyn smiled at the camera. "Thank you for wanting me to feel comfortable, I really appreciate that. So I am actually bisexual, and I've been "out" for over a year or two now, but I don't really talk about it a whole lot unless I feel I need to because I think that just isn't really something that needs to be capitalized on. I'm bisexual, I'm me, and that's what matters." Evelyn gives a soft smile.
"Ok, next one! Question number ten: What kind of relationship do you have with Louis?"
Evelyn looks confused for a second. "I mean, Louis and I are just friends. The internet may believe otherwise, but we're just really good friends. He is a such an amazing person and I am so lucky to have him as a friend. But that's it." She smiles.
"And last question! In your honest opinion..." Evelyn's eyes went wide. "- do you think that Louis is cute?"
Evelyn's jaw dropped as she looked of screen, presumably in Dakota's direction. "Do you really expect me to answer this?" She laughs. "You don't have to, but I feel like people would want to know." Dakota laughs. Evelyn rolls her eyes. "Ugh!" Evelyn laughs as she looks back at the camera, and now the text for the question appears. "Ok, so.. I feel like anything I do is gonna make people talk." Evelyn says. "Or, I could just edit it out?" Evelyn cocks an eyebrow. "You're too lazy." Dakota says. "Evelyn sighs. "Damn it, you're right!" Evelyn looks very awkward and uncomfortable as she shifts in her seat. "So... yes." She sighs before she jumps up. "But! He's told me that I'm cute before plus, it just means that I don't want to barf when I look at him so it doesn't really mean anything." Evelyn's cheeks are obviously burning. Dakota starts hysterically laughing and Evelyn's head whips to look over at her. "What?!" Evelyn yells as she slowly throws her hood up over her head and pulls on the strings to hide her face.
The camera does another jump cut and Evelyn is now sitting up straight once again and smiling at the camera. "Ok guys, that is it for today's video! It honestly didn't go as bad as I thought it would, so I might be open to doing these more often. Also, I'm thinking of vlogging my day or my week on set, so I wanted to know how you guys felt about that idea." Evelyn takes a sip of coffee as the camera zooms in on her. The camera goes back to full screen as Evelyn puts it down and lets out an "aah.".
"Thank you guys so much for sending in questions! And a big thank you to 'lil Ms. Dakota over here-" Evelyn reaches out and grabs Dakota and leads her so she is now on camera. Dakota wraps her arms affectionately around Evelyn's neck as a hug from behind, and Evelyn holds onto Dakota's arms. "Mis Dakota Koblei for her amazing work organizing and selecting questions so my answers would be a little more interesting." Evelyn looks up at Dakota. "I lub you." She says, and Dakota gives her a kiss on the cheek and says "I lub you too". Dakota then lets go of Evelyn's neck and walks away.
"I really hope you guys enjoyed today's video! And if you did, you have 4 options: like, comment, subscribe, or all three!" Evelyn laughs. "Ok guys, I'm gonna end it here! I love you all have an amazing day/night/whatever time it might be for you, and I will hopefully see you in the next one! Bye guys!" Evelyn blows a kiss using both hands, and the screen goes to black.
