"Speaking"
~~~~~Izuku POV~~~~~~
I was at the train station waiting for my partner for this mission callsign Sandstorm. Real name Liliana "Lily" Yanagi, she was a member of Alpha and an old friend of mine. She hadn't been with Alpha as long as the others but only Byron knew me longer than her personally speaking.
I had known her for about 3 years, we had met when we were 15 years old. My dad asked me to have a sparring match with her. Her dad apparently was friends with the old man, and wanted her to get more combat experience.
However there wasn't anyone left in the France branch that could match her. Hence thats why he'd asked dad for help. I was happy to help, I loved seeing new quirks and it would be a good experience for me as well.
I learned really fast that when it comes to her, its way better to avoid a hit rather than try to tank one. Her quirk Vibration Impact, was amazing and incredibly strong. It was a perfect for breaching and making a huge mess when you need it. She had filled in Ramrod's spot on alpha team a few years back.
Lily:" Izuku!" I turned to face cheery voice. It'd been a few months since I'd seen her, she hadn't changed much.
She was still about 5' 8", her slim athletic body hadn't gained any weight. I always wondered why she always wore such tight shirts. Maybe it was because she was almost as well endowed as Momo, and she just couldn't find a proper fitting shirt. She had her long blond hair tied into a side-tail, and her jade-green eyes wide and bright.
"Yo Lily good to see you! How you been?" she jogged up to me and gave me a hug, she quickly let go.
Lily:" I'm doing better now! I was pretty bored at Seiai, so I was pretty happy to come to watch the UA sports festival with Byron and Nemure. Although I saw something pretty disgusting...."
"Sorry about that, but Bakugou went to far and needed to punished this time. I got permission from HQ so I had to use it." I replied
Lily:" Thats not what I was talking about!"
I tilted my head confused about what she meant. Before I could ask what she meant, our train to Hosu pulled up.
"Alright, our train is here lets go lily. Our contact will meet us at the station in Hosu, from there we'll get settled in and start our investigation."
~~~~TimeSkip/Outskirts of Hosu ~~~~~
After we made it to Hosu, we met with our contact and headed to the safehouse. Once there we were given a mission brief. Parabellum had intel saying that a few known C- rank villains had been witnessed entering our target warehouse.
However strangely enough none had been seen exiting, we'd have to be extremely careful during reconnaissance. There either had to be another secret exit or the warehouse was far larger than what was on the surface.
Our contact left after giving the brief along with a case with our black uniforms and Lily's favorite twin set of 1191 pistols. After gearing up we made our way, outside the city towards the warehouse. Once when reached the warehouse, we crept along the edge of the wood line.
Going into my military mindset, I started to form a plan.
"Sandstorm, take this headset and circle around the other side. We'll take it easy today, just recon and get the layout. Make notes on anything out of place, keep radio silence unless absolutely necessary."
Sandstorm:" Yes sir, good luck!" and with that she left.
I continued moving along my side, watching and observing, learning the layout on this side. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, I took up watch and settled in for a couple of hours. Waiting to see if anyone come in or out.
This continued for a few days, nothing really happening until a few days later. On day six since the start of the mission, I along with sandstorm were watching the main and only entrance. That we could see anyways, it was early in the evening when there was movement.
A very familiar looking purple mist portal opened up, and out of it stepped two people I hadn't expected to see.
"Tomura and Kurogiri........ Well now this just became interesting." I whispered to Sandstorm
Sandstorm:" Aren't those those two from the USJ incident?"
"Yeah, thats them. The danger level just shot up, but this is definitely a big break for us."
Sandstorm:" What do we know about them?"
"Not much at all, both are complete mysteries. Nothing has popped up in any database here or overseas. Rough combat estimates are Kurogiri is about B-rank, and Tomura is around A-rank."
" If we need to engage them, avoid being touched by Touma. His quirk causes Decay, not sure what the limits are but we've learned he needs to make contact with his hands."
"As for Kurogiri, we aren't sure about the full extent of his warping abilities. I believe he either has to know the exact coordinates or has to be able to see were he opens a warp to if he doesn't know."
Sandstorm:" Damn, that Kurogiri is the more annoying of the two."
"For you yes, you can't just punch him and he can turn your attacks against you. Don't count Tomura out though. He might be a giant fucking baby, but that baby has a loaded gun and a temper."
"We'll wait for abit and move in after them, quick and quiet. It'll be best to catch them off guard, I want at least one of them alive. I want to know more about that nomu thing they used at USJ."
We waited until they had gone in, a few minutes later we moved in. Pulling up to the door, I slowly and carefully opened the door. I slipped in with Sandstrom right on my heels, there were crates, barrels and random trash everywhere.
No sign of our targets though, luck was with us though. Everything was covered in dust, everything except a trail of footprints leading towards an area near a pile of crates. I motioned towards the pile, Sandstorm nodded and drew her pistols.
I moved over and pushed slightly, the crates slid quietly away revealing a tunnel. I entered first, seeing the area was clear, I signaled sandstorm and moved forward. She closed the hidden door behind us, we crept along the dimly lit path.
Soon we reached the end of the tunnel, which opened up into a large room filled with large solid containers. This area was well traveled so I couldn't track them anymore. We started to move through the room passing in front of one of the containers when I noticed.
The containers seemed to have a door and had a sliding cover around eye level. I motioned for sandstorm to cover me for a minute. I stood up and grabbed the cover and slowly slid it out of place, trying not to make a sound.
It took a second for my eyes to adjust to the darkness, once I could see I froze. Those large beady eyes, that dark skin, the beak-like mouth, and the exposed brain. I knew this thing, and I was suddenly very aware of what this place was and the number of these containers confirmed my earlier thoughts.
"This place isn't a hideout.... its a factory.... a Nomu factory."
A/N:" Early night so you guys get a early chapter today! As always thanks for reading and hope you enjoy!
